Thus, the Baltic Sea is an inland sea and the largest brackish water body on Earth. Approximately 60 kilometers of fine sandy Baltic beaches stretch along the coast. The gradually deepening water is ideal for slowly venturing into the cool wet. Thus, in this region, the vast sea meets the slowing pace of the Bodden.
