Our cosy log cabin "Dat Traumhus" is located in a green holiday home settlement surrounded by Pomeranian forest landscape on the edge of the village of Bodstedt and the nature reserve "Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft". It therefore guarantees a relaxed and peaceful holiday. Mild coastal climate, kilometres of fine sandy beaches and rustic forests form an idyllic location. Time out in the countryside - an ideal holiday resort at any time of year away from the hustle and bustle of the seaside resorts. Spend your holiday in our lovingly designed "Dat Traumhus". The special ambience of the log house comes to the fore inside through the massive wooden trunks and the mild scent of wood
The property covers 400m² and the living space in the house is approx. 80m². The log house was completed in August 2007. On the ground floor there is an open, fully equipped kitchen (if something is missing, we will take care of it), the living room with a couch and a nice, cosy fireplace, a bathroom with a big shower and a hairdryer as well as a bedroom for 2 persons and a bedroom for 1 person (140cm bed). The ground floor is tiled and has underfloor heating. On the sunny terrace you can relax wonderfully and enjoy great barbecue evenings. There are garden chairs for sunbathing and a column barbecue. The garden invites you to play, relax, linger and unwind.
On the sleeping loft there are 3 mattresses for 3 people, especially the little ones find this great

Friendly hosts are a matter of course for us: The contact person on site, Wolli (operator of Café & Bar Wolli) is available for all questions and problems.
The settlement: The holiday home settlement consists of 28 holiday homes and the Café & Bar Wolli. Due to the private road, only a few foreign cars stray into the settlement, so it is possible to let your children roam the area largely unsupervised. New friendships are often formed while romping through the woods and meadows. The plots are all so large that you can retreat and let your soul dangle. The diverse architectural styles of the houses are interesting to look at and result in a well-balanced settlement image. Perhaps there is a detail or two to copy for your own home.
The cycle path "Östlicher-Backstein-Rundweg", located directly in front of the settlement, takes you once around the entire Bodden, about 80 km. This can easily be done in one day, and if you like, you can shorten the trip by taking the Bodden ferries or buses. The beautiful Baltic Sea beach in Zingst is about 30 minutes away by bike. The cycle path is also suitable for inline skates, roller skates and skateboards. Jogging and Nordic walking are also recommended.
Café & Bar Wolli is a nice little summer café at the entrance to the settlement. It has four outdoor tables and six more in the guest room. The main business time is coffee time, in the evening it usually closes after sunset. On offer are coffee, freshly baked cakes and tarts, as well as various sundaes and ice creams. The homemade potato soup with prawns is highly recommended. In the evening, you can relax with a freshly tapped beer or cocktail. Or you can round off a busy day with the large selection of whiskies.

Bodstedt is a pretty town on the edge of the nature reserve, Western Pomerania Lagoon landscapes'. Of the cottage area you look across the bay to the Darss. In the immediate vicinity of the house you can enjoy long walks. The seaside resorts Zingst and Prerow with its white sand beaches and its vibrant life are but just a few kilometers (Zingst about 8 km).

Preis/Leistung paßt nicht ganz
Ein "Traumhus" war es vielleicht einmal - ist es heute aber defintiv nicht mehr. Das Haus ist grundsätzlich nett, jedoch nicht mehr ganz dem aktuellen Standard eines modernen Objekts entsprechend. Zudem auch etwas "in die Jahre gekommen". Einige Renovierungsmaßnahmen (besonders im Bad - Silikonfugen, leicht angerostete Handtuchhalter etc.) erscheinen sinnvoll. Die angegebenen 80 m² sind stark anzuzweifeln - vielleicht wird hier der komplette "Kriechboden" ausgelegt mit (nicht wirklich hochwertigen) Matratzen hinzugerechnet, den ausschließlich Kinder oder sehr gelenkige Personen benutzen können. Wichtige Info für Internetnutzer: KEIN WLAN und sehr schlechtes Handynetz. Wir waren mit 4 Personen und 3 verschiedenen Netz-Anbietern (T-Com, O2, E+) vor Ort und hatten massive Probleme mit Internet-Empfang. Sehr kleiner Fernseher (die meisten haben zu Hause sicherlich einen größreren PC-Bildschirm) mit reichlich Programmen, die aber schon beim ersten Gewitter nicht mehr zu sehen waren (veraltete, nicht-digitale SAT-Anlage). Für uns 4 Erwachsene war das Haus gefühlt zu klein, dass ist jedoch ein ganz persönliches Empfinden. Wir sind einfach deutlich mehr Platz gewohnt. Lage für Ausflüge grundsätzlich gut - zum Strand immer ein paar Kilometer zu fahren . Wir empfehlen besonders Dierhagen, ist aber gut 35 MInuten mit dem Auto. Prerow deutlich näher - dort wird aber sehr viel "blank gezogen". Die Straße zum Haus ist sehr schmal und zwingt immer wieder zum Anhalten wegen Gegenverkehr - mit etwas Geduld aber kein Problem. Sehr positiv bewerten wir die Betreuung durch "Wolli" Tapfer, der das Objekt vor Ort verwaltet, freundlich "berlinert" und per Handy jederzeit kontaltiert werden kann. Unser Gesamturteil: Ein unklimatisiertes Haus für den mittleren Anspruch bis max. 3 Erwachsenen zu empfehlen. Auf dem Boden können Kinder schlafen. Diese sollten aufgrund der extrem engen Wendeltreppe aber zwischen 8 und 12 Jahren alt sein. Fazit: Nettes, aber in der Hauptsaison zu teures Domizil.

sibirischen Hexenhaus
Wir fühlen uns sehr wohl in diesem hübschen „sibirischen Hexenhaus“. Doch irgendwann geht’s nach Haus. Es waren wunderschöne Tage, da gibt es doch wohl keine Frage. Es war angenehm ruhig hier und das Wetter schön, wir konnten baden und jeden Tag angeln gehen. Wir lieben die Küste, den Strand und das Meer und kommen auf jeden Fall bald wieder her. Wir sagen DANKE für die Gastfreundichkeit. Fam. Blochsen aus Dresden.

Landschaft und Kultur
Unsere Familie aus Wuppertal hatte 2 erholsame Wochen hier. Dat Traumhus hat unsere Erwartungen erfüllt. Aufgrund des schönen Wetters konnten wir die Landschaft und Kultur dieser Region ausgiebig genießen. Wolli stand uns mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Wir werden es immer weiterempfehlen und wieder kommen. super wetter und tolles haus
Wie bereits im letzten Jahr, war auch im Sommer 2013 alles perfekt, vor allem das Wetter war diesmal super! Wer einen erholsamen und schönen Urlaub sucht, der bucht hier. Die Terrasse lädt zum Entspannen ein und es wird schwierig aus den Gartenliegen wieder aufzustehen. Die Kinder haben sich gut mit den Nachbarskindern verstanden und haben verstecken und Ball über die Hecke gespielt. Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll und modern eingerichtet, das einzig was fehlt ist ein Backofen, dafür gab es frische und manchmal noch warme Brötchen direkt vor Ort. Unsere Eltern wollen im Herbst kommen, um die Kraniche zu beobachten und Abende am Kamin zu verbringen. Liebe Grüße Thorsten & Ilona

shopping facilities: in Barth ist alles vorhanden und in 10min ist man mit dem auto da. PS. Montag Vormittag ist mann nicht alleine im Supermarkt

Pudelwohl
Als wir ankamen, waren wir sofort vom Ferienhaus begeistert, auf der Terrasse konnten wir in Ruhe erst mal eine Tasse Tee genießen. Für unsere Kinder war der Schlafboden echt super, aber für ältere Erwachsene ist das nichts. Und unser Pudel fühlte sich im Haus und um Garten „pudelwohl“! Wir fahren sicher nochmal in Dat Traumhus.
