Very gladly again!

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful holiday home on the North Sea. We particularly liked the quiet location – here you can really unwind and enjoy relaxation. At the same time, shopping facilities, restaurants, attractions, and the beach are quickly and conveniently accessible.

The house is lovingly and tastefully furnished and offers everything you need for a relaxing holiday. One immediately notices that the hosts have put a lot of thought into it: The furnishings are complete, practical, and very comfortable. We lacked nothing.

From the first moment, we felt at home and were able to enjoy our vacation to the fullest. A perfect place to experience the North Sea and let the soul dangle. We would love to come back and can recommend this holiday home without reservation!

We - a seven-member family spanning three generations from 1 to 70 years old - were in Dangast for the first time and immediately experienced in the House Strandleben a domicile that met all our requirements and where we felt very comfortable. The house is very well equipped, including a cart and a stroller, and offers many play opportunities, especially for the youngest, in case the weather makes a stay at the nearby beach unattractive.

A destination for the family is also the Landscape Exploration Trail, which connects the typical landscape spaces of Varel. The 50-kilometer-long route passes by the Wadden Sea National Park, through fertile marshland, or along birch and alder groves. At eight stations, you also learn interesting facts about the ecological, landscape, and historical peculiarities of Dangast and the surrounding area. The Sculpture Trail around the Jadebusen is also an exciting route for families. The path combines themes of art, nature, dike construction, coastal protection, and even the question of the origin of humanity.

The Franz Radziwill House is also considered a highlight of the area. Here, you can admire the studio and various works of the famous artist from Wednesday to Sunday between 3 and 6 PM. On weekends, the house opens at 11 AM. (As of August 2023) The Galerie Willy Hinck with a historical archive and countless photographs and sketches is also among the cultural treasures of the place. The Brücke painters found suitable motifs for their paintings in the seclusion and untouched nature of the North Sea coast, which are displayed here. A cultural institution has now become the annual Wattgolf event, organized by the action art group "Menschenmüll". The group also annually hosts the satirical Christmas Theater at the Old Kurhaus.
