On cozy evenings in the small winter garden, you can watch the sun slowly set behind the Ruthenberg and bathe the Bruchhauser Steine in a warm, golden light. This natural monument, majestically towering over the landscape, accompanies you with ever-changing moods. During the day, an awning ensures that your place in the sun remains pleasantly shaded, so you can enjoy carefree hours in the conservatory at any time of day.
Right outside the front door, a true paradise for hikers and dogs begins: countless paths that invite you to varied discovery tours through the Sauerland nature. So that you can quickly find your way around, you will find in the lovingly compiled house folder an overview with tour recommendations, exciting leisure ideas, and useful information about the region – a treasure trove of inspiration for your stay.
The garden is entirely yours. It is securely fenced for dogs, so your four-legged friends can roam and play to their heart’s content. For relaxing hours in the greenery, a barbecue terrace with a large dining table, comfortable chairs, and a small play area await you. Sun loungers invite you to simply let go and watch the sky above. No appointments in sight!
Haus Sauerland Liebe is laid out on one level and is therefore especially comfortable. The separate bedroom with double bed offers plenty of privacy, while a spacious sofa bed (1.60 m) in the living room is available for a third person. Directly adjacent to the bedroom is the modern shower bathroom, which was completely renovated in 2025. In the kitchen you will find everything you need for culinary moments: from the classic coffee machine and the Senseo machine to the oven, refrigerator with freezer compartment, and dishwasher, as well as a toaster and waffle iron.

My beautiful feel-good holiday homes and feel-good holiday apartments are located in the heart of the Rothaar Mountains in 59939 Olsberg-Ellerinhausen. Countless hiking opportunities start right at the front door and are lovingly described in the house folder.
From the living rooms and terraces, you can enjoy the wonderful panoramic view of the natural monument Bruchhauser Steine. Right outside the front door, green forests and lush fields await you. Breathe in the fresh mountain air deeply and let yourself be enchanted by the unique scent of the forest.
If you’re in the mood for a bit more hustle and bustle, you’ll find everything gastronomy and tourism have to offer in the neighboring towns of Willingen (11 km) and Winterberg (20 km). By the way, the shops here are also open almost every Sunday.
Dogs like to cool off in the many small mountain streams that run through the forest everywhere. For swimming, my guests like to go to Lake Diemel, which is 25 minutes away by car, where even the hottest days can be enjoyed by both dog and human at the beautiful serviced dog beach. A walk of about 1.5 hours is always worthwhile to the beautiful Silbersee, located in the middle of the forest.
My guests can find wellness at the Sauerlandtherme AQUA Olsberg, 7 km away, the Lagunenbad Willingen (11 km), and of course in the in-house wellness area with sauna, shower, forest sofa, and beach chair. Guests with children and teenagers love a visit to the amusement park Fort Fun (20 km), where dogs are also welcome and have free admission. In winter, my wooden sleds are available as decoration or for borrowing at the houses, and anyone who likes can race down the meadow opposite the houses.
In many neighboring villages, cozy little Christmas markets are set up, some of which continue beyond the holidays, enticing with wintry scents and festive lights. Cutting your own Christmas tree, which is offered here and there, is also popular.

Despite the very well-equipped kitchen, there is of course no obligation to cook for yourself every day. In my leisure suggestions you will find my personal tips for eating out in especially cozy restaurants, where you will not have any unpleasant surprises. A great alternative is the affordable home-style cooking from the local butcher Neumann, which is offered fresh daily. The pizza delivery services are also very familiar with the address of the Häuser am Wald. The bread roll taxi will hang a fragrant bag on your front door on weekends upon request.
Especially popular with my guests is the large breakfast buffet here in the village at Hotel Haus Keuthen, where dogs are also welcome. Perhaps during your vacation you would also like to sit down at a fragrant, set coffee table after a short walk.
I will tell you about well-maintained swimming pools and beautiful bathing lakes nearby and have put together a list of suggestions for younger children. For dog owners, there is a page with all information and emergency addresses. There is a competent veterinarian here in the village.
Young people especially love the Skywalk Willingen, the climbing forest, the tubing track, and my free Wi-Fi. At every bed there are two USB ports with a phone shelf.
For guests with bicycles and e-bikes, I have set up a bicycle garage with charging facilities that can be used free of charge. The houses by the forest are located in the middle of the Bike Arena Sauerland.

Dear Mrs Maas, we had such lovely and relaxing days here in Haus Landliebe. Everything is lovingly furnished and very clean. We felt at home right away.
The handling was uncomplicated and questions were answered quickly.
Thank you for the great hiking suggestions in Komoot, we hiked some of the tours.
We will definitely come back with our two dogs.
