The own fenced garden and the own front door let almost forget that it is "only" a holiday flat. On the beautiful barbecue terrace you spend wonderful summer evenings and the sun loungers on the meadow promise a relaxing time out at the sight of the Bruchhauser stones. Just do nothing at all! Even with a good book or a magazine it is good to be in the garden. From your garden you can reach the free nature with forest and field after a few steps
The windowed and rustic designed porch almost looks like a small winter garden and offers a lot of storage space - in winter also gladly for skis and ski boots. From the small inner hall you enter the bathroom with shower, the lovingly equipped kitchen and the spacious living and sleeping area. Our beautiful holiday homes and cosy holiday apartments are located in the heart of the Rothaargebirge. Countless hiking possibilities start from our front door and are lovingly described in the house folder
From the living rooms and the terraces you have a wonderful panoramic view of the natural monument Bruchhauser Steine. Directly in front of the front door green forests and lush fields are waiting for you. Breathe the fresh mountain air deeply and let yourself be enchanted by the unique smell of the forest
If you prefer a bit more hustle and bustle, the neighbouring towns of Willingen (11 km) and Winterberg (20 km) offer many possibilities for leisure activities. By the way, the shops here are also open almost every Sunday
Dogs like to cool off in the many small mountain streams that run through the forest everywhere. For bathing our guests like to drive to the Diemelsee, which is 25 minutes away by car, where even the hottest days for dogs and humans can be endured at the beautiful dog beach. The beautiful Silbersee in the middle of the forest is always worth a hour walk.
Our guests will find wellness in the Sauerland spa AQUA Olsberg, 7 km away. Guests with children are happy about our discounted tickets for the leisure park Fort Fun (20 km), where dogs are also welcome. In winter, our sledges are available for decoration or for rent at the houses and whoever likes can whizz down the meadow opposite the houses.
In many neighbouring villages, cute winter markets are set up, some of which lure visitors with winter scents and festive lights even over the holidays. Also popular is "Christmas-tree-selber-schlagen", which is offered here and there.

| 30,- € is the basic annual price for 2 persons per night. A visitor's tax does not accrue with us, because we are more than 7 km away from the village centre. During the holidays the basic price is 35,- € and on special holidays even more. The ER we calculate with once with 50,- € and for a dog once 10,- € per stay. You are welcome to bring your own towels and bed linen or book them for 15,- € per person. Just send us your desired period if you are interested. We will be happy to compile all costs and send you a non-binding offer. |

Despite a very well equipped kitchen, there is no obligation to cook for yourself every day. In our leisure time suggestions you will find our personal tips for eating out in particularly cosy restaurants, where you will not experience any unpleasant surprises. A great alternative is also the inexpensive home cooking of the local butchery Neumann, which is offered fresh daily. Pizza taxi services are also well aware of the address of the houses by the forest. On weekends the roll taxi will hang a fragrant bag on your front door if you wish
Especially popular with our guests is the large breakfast buffet here in the village at Hotel Haus Keuthen, where dogs are also welcome. Maybe you would like to sit down at the fragrant coffee table after a short walk. On Saturdays and Sundays fresh bread rolls are sold here in the Tismes shop. What could be better than coming back from the first morning round with a bag of fragrant rolls?
We name well-kept swimming pools and beautiful bathing lakes nearby and have put together a list of suggestions for smaller children. For dog owners there is a page with all information and emergency addresses. There is a competent veterinarian here in the village
Young people especially love the climbing forest, the tubing track and our free W-LAN. At each bed you will find two USB ports with mobile phone storage.

great vacation apartment, great landlady, great surroundings
For just under a week, I was with my dog in the Studio/Haus am Wald. We were warmly welcomed by the landlady. The accommodation is very clean, comfortable and modern. We lacked nothing. The studio has its own small garden with a barbecue and garden furniture. There we could have breakfast and also end the evening. Just a few steps from the holiday apartment, you enter the forest directly. We started several hikes from there. Tips for hiking trails and the surroundings are available in the holiday apartment. We will come back, that is beyond question!

Super schön
Schade dass der Urlaub in unserem 2.zuhause immer so schnell vorbei ist . Hier ist es so schön. Die Ferienhäuser sind mit viel Liebe und Detail eingerichtet und lassen an Ausstattung keine Wünsche übrig . Wir kommen wieder !

Sehr schönes Studio, mit tollem Garten.
Wir haben das gemütliche Wochenende am Ofen sehr genossen. Die Gegend ist wunderschön und der Hund ist herzlich Willkommen.

Sehr gemütliches Studio
Wir waren über Silvester 2019/2020 im Studio Wiesengrund. Das sehr gemütliche Studio mit dem behaglichen Ofen hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Unser Hund konnte sich im Garten im Schnee tummeln und von da aus mit uns ausgedehnte Spaziergängen im Wald machen. Besonders schön ist es, dass das Studio einen separaten Eingang und eingezäunten Garten hat.
Wir haben uns gut erholt und die Zeit hier genossen. Wir schätzen den Silvesterurlaub hier auch sehr, weil es für unsere Fellnase mit dem Silvesterfeuerwerk wesentlich ruhiger ist als in der Stadt.
Wir kommen immer gern wieder.

Kleine, aber feine Wohnung
Die Ferienwohnungen von Haus am Wald Sauerland sind sehr zu empfehlen. Wir (2 Erwachsene und 1 Hund) waren knapp eine Woche dort und hatten eine tolle Zeit.
Die Wohnung ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, auch die Ordner mit Reisetipps in der Umgebung waren sehr schön.
Wenn man irgendwann wieder reisen darf, werden wir auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Urlaub im Sauerland
Wir waren sehr zufrieden in der sehr liebevoll eingerichteten Wohnung, die Abende am Ofen waren sehr gemütlich, dar Spaziergang konnte immer ab dem Garten sofort in den Wald starten, wir kommen gerne wieder wenn es passt LG Beate und Thomas mit den Hunden Biene und Maja
