Description
There are places where you want to stay because they are simply beautiful. This is undoubtedly one of them. As soon as you cross the causeway onto the island, a feeling of freedom and relaxation sets in. Here you can take a deep breath and arrive in the fantastically situated holiday home Meerkieker. On 110 m², up to 6 adults + 1 toddler find enough space for a relaxing holiday. From the living area on the upper floor, with its large window front, there is an almost majestic view of the Baltic Sea. On the ground floor, a large, open-plan kitchen/living room with TV and wood-burning stove invites you to spend cosy hours together. In the two bedrooms on the ground floor, as well as another one upstairs, you can really get a good night's sleep. The bedrooms face the field and are therefore very quiet. On the ground floor, as well as on the upper floor, you have a bathroom each for short distances. Wi-Fi and 2 satellite TVs provide digital entertainment.
There is a furnished terrace in front of the house, from where you can already smell the Baltic Sea, which is only 150 m away. The scent of the Baltic Sea, the green fields in the immediate vicinity and the house's own barbecue make holiday feelings rise.

The Baltic Sea island of Poel, which can be reached by car via a causeway, offers great recreational value. The island is a state-recognised resort as well as a recognised Baltic Sea spa. The holiday home is located in the Schwarzer Busch district, on the edge of a holiday home settlement. Due to the location on the edge of the field, in a dead-end street, there is hardly any car traffic. All facilities are within short walking distance. Within 2 to 10 minutes you can reach the beach (also guarded), promenade, bicycle rental, restaurants, cafés, ice cream parlour, fish snack, bread sale, playgrounds, mini golf, kiosk with beach supplies and more.
Leisure and excursions
By car you can quickly reach the Hanseatic city of Wismar and the Baltic Sea resorts of Rerik and Kühlungsborn. Popular excursion destinations include the historic old town and harbour in Wismar, the Wonnemar leisure and adventure pool or the lighthouse in Bastorf. A visit to the Rostock Zoo and Schwerin Castle are also highly recommended.

Lage top, Haus ungepflegt
- Kein funktionstüchtiger Geschirrspüler , war auch nicht vollständig ausgeräumt
- WLAN erst nach langem Versuchen, Passwort falsch angegeben , trotz extra Nachfrage
- Beleuchtung im Wohnzimmer nicht zum Lesen geeignet, Stehlampen wären günstig
- keine Außenbeleuchtung an Stellplatz /Schuppen
- keine Abdunklungen am Küchenfenster, oberen Schlafzimmerfenster
- Mischbatterie im unteren Bad läuft aus, grüner Belag
- andere Mischbatterien spritzen, da Perlator verstopft
- im oberen Bad Mischbatterie verkehrt rum aufgeklemmt
- an Dusche lässt sich Brausestange nicht in Winkel und Höhe verstellen
- Schuppen sollte aufgeräumt werden. An Gartenstühle kam man kaum ran. Kein Platz für 4 Fahrräder
- Bei Vollbelegung im Wohnzimmer zu wenig Sitzplätze. Platz für mehr Sitzplätze wäre da
- Einfahrt Tor schließt schwer. Schlossfalle schnappt nicht ein - man muss immer abschließen
- Beide Tore quietschen- ölen wäre auch für schlafende Nachbarn nette Geste
- an Küchenstühle ggf. Gleiter anbringen
- Nur 1 Hausschlüssel möglich, auch auf Nachfrage kein zweiter zu bekommen. Bei mehreren Erwachsenen eine organisatorische Herausforderung
Wir sind keine notorischen Nörgler, aber sehr FH- erfahren und selbst Handwerker. Betrachten Sie dies bitte daher nur als Anregung zur Verbesserung Ihres Angebots. Wenn mehrere Dinge nicht gut/ gar nicht funktionieren, ist das nervig und der Unmut beeinträchtigt den Urlaub. Das Haus wirkte insgesamt etwas lieblos und gedankenlos eingerichtet. Die Liege im Wohnzimmer allerdings ist ein echtes Highlight, sehr bequem.
Mit wenig Aufwand/Investitionen könnten die Kritikpunkte abgestellt werden . Im Zustand jetzt können wir das FH nur recht bedingt weiterempfehlen. Vielleicht gibt es über die Winterzeit Ihrerseits sowieso Pläne zur Aufarbeitung.

vielen Dank für das Feedback. Die Zufriedenheit unserer Gäste ist uns sehr wichtig. Nach Rücksprache mit dem Vermieter kann ich Ihnen folgendes mitteilen:
- alle genannten Mängel werden in Kürze geprüft
- Das W-LAN Passwort war korrekt (die Schreibweise wurde Ihnen telefonisch erklärt, es kam keine Rückmeldung, daher sind wir davon ausgegangen, dass alles in Ordnung ist)
- Das Besteck wurde leider von der Reinigungskraft übersehen. Dafür haben wir uns gleich entschuldigt.
- Der Geschirrspüler ist in der Tat während Ihres Aufenthaltes kaputt gegangen. Ein Techniker war vor Ort. Der Geschirrspüler war nicht zu reparieren und musste ausgetauscht werden. Das ist jetzt erfolgt.
- Bezüglich des 2. Schlüssels haben Sie vor Ort mitgeteilt, dass es nicht so wichtig sei. Selbstverständlich hätten Sie auf Bitte einen 2. Schlüssel erhalten.
Die Vermieterin war stets bemüht, Ihnen einen schönen Aufenthalt zu ermöglichen. Die Ausstattung entspricht den Bildern im Internet. Alle Räume sind detailliert dargestellt und die Bilder sind aktuell. Daher sind wir etwas verwundert, dass Sie über die Einrichtung enttäuscht waren. Wir hoffen dennoch, dass Sie die Zeit im Haus Meerblick in dieser absolut tollen Lage genossen haben und sich gut erholen konnten.
