Description

The holiday flat is a granny flat (52 m²) on the ground floor of our detached house. Our property is located directly at the Vilzsee. We also rent out a circus wagon (object number 43004 at

On the farm we will also rent out 3 holiday flats in the attic of the converted barn (former Vilzseearena) from summer 2022, see object number 386414 at Ferienhausmiete.de

The property includes 2 jetties with terraces to sit on for the common use of all holidaymakers.
You have the possibility to swim via the jetties or from the shore.

WELLNESS
especially in the colder season:
H i g h l i g h t is our barrel sauna directly on the lake with a view of the Vilzsee
Cooling down is then possible in the lake or in the shower of the FeWo
In summer you can relax on sun loungers outside in the garden. From November to March, this is possible in our construction trailer. This can be heated with wood. A large panorama window offers a wonderful lake view even in the colder seasons.

The flat was newly renovated in 2011 and furnished in a modern style. All windows have external blinds. The flat can also be used in the cooler seasons, it has a fireplace and underfloor heating. It is suitable for 2 to 4 people. In addition to a double bed in the bedroom, there is also a pull-out "living landscape" in the living room. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need and the living area has a SAT system with flat screen TV (107 cm screen diagonal and USB connection) for those rainy days.
Sitting on the terrace, you can enjoy a direct view of the village church. There is a garden barbecue chimney for grilling or lighting a small fire with firewood.

A SUP, a rowing boat, a kayak as well as a 3-man and a 5-man canoe are available for the common use of all holidaymakers
2 sun loungers are available.

For an extra charge, it is possible to use the rowing boat as a motor boat (6 hp motor)

A table tennis table is available.

Location and surroundings of object

Our property is located exactly between the church and the Vilzsee. We also rent out a circus trailer (object number 43004).

The small village of Diemitz is situated in southern Mecklenburg directly on the border to Brandenburg, in the middle of the towns of Wittstock, Neustrelitz and Neuruppin, near Flecken Zechlin (10 km), Mirow (12 km) and Rheinsberg (15 km). Berlin is 120 km away and Warnemünde (Baltic Sea) 145 km.

Diemitz lies like an island surrounded by lakes, to the south in the Neustrelitz small lake area and to the north in the Rheinsberg lake area on the Müritz-Havel waterway, on Lake Vilz
In addition to the major waterway, there are some of the cleanest clear-water lakes in Germany in the immediate vicinity, only about 1000 m away. These include the Große Wummsee (visibility depth of up to 7 metres), the Twernsee and the 3 Giesenschlag lakes.

The F R Ü H L I N G and H E R B S T are also very beautiful. The Wummsee and the Giesenschlag lakes can be walked around. In these seasons, the beautiful foliage colouring of the beech forests comes into its own best.

It was another great vacation at Tobiens.

We have already been on vacation in Diemitz at Tobien's many times and enjoy it every time.
Especially nice is the large lawn with several direct accesses to the lake.
You can also feel really comfortable in the spacious vacation apartment.

If the water temperatures allowed, swimming in Vilzsee every morning, without bothersome swimwear, was a must.
It's no problem at all and pure enjoyment.

It is also very convenient that we could store our own kayak directly by the water. However, there are still more boats and a SUP available for free.

Top hosts and vacation rentals

We have been staying at Tobias' vacation rental for several years now and are always impressed by the location, cleanliness, and especially the friendliness of the hosts. The football European Championship/World Cup events in the barn, or this year in the tent, are already legendary. Jumping into the water from the boat pier in the mornings and then having breakfast, enjoying the silence by the lake in the evenings...just great. We will definitely come back next year.

Holiday in the circus wagon at Anne and Reimondo Tobien.

In the romantic, immaculate circus wagon with plenty of space and Vilzsee lake with a beach right at the door, we have enjoyed our holiday 6 times already. The couple TOBIEN is warm and friendly. Their accommodations, including the huge property, are very clean and well-maintained, and also very affordable. We can truly highly recommend it!!!

Wonderful vacation in a great holiday apartment

We were in Diemitz for a short break at the beginning of January. Here you can enjoy nature, peace, quiet, lake views, and solitude/togetherness wonderfully. The holiday apartment is fully equipped, there was really nothing missing. Even a bottle of Rotkäppchen as a welcome gift and some sweets surprised us. Even in autumn and winter, you can enjoy the peace and vastness of the Mecklenburg Lake District wonderfully. By the fireplace, it was wonderfully relaxing after the hikes. The location is great amidst the many lakes and forests.
A dream for nature lovers.
And the landlords are very hospitable.

We will definitely come back! !

Beautiful, peaceful short break

Very beautiful, tastefully and fully furnished holiday apartment. The barrel sauna directly at the lakeshore with a great view of the lake is fantastic. Recommended for this season is the use of the fireplace; firewood and everything else is of course available. A new restaurant is only about 50 meters away with very good food and drinks. Quiet location, great for walking, biking, or boating. Mirow Castle and Rheinsberg are nearby. We can only recommend it. Thanks for the lovely holiday.

very nice holiday apartment

We (two people) felt very comfortable in this holiday apartment. The apartment was decorated and furnished with love: fresh, modern colors on the walls match the furniture and - yes - even the bedding. The living room is a bit dark due to the outbuilding, the kitchen is very bright, both have access to a kind of terrace. The price is reasonable: the apartment is new, there is a certain generosity noticeable, whether it's about the canoe, firewood, (new) dishes and cutlery in the cupboard, the selection of books, or mostly new games. In the village, you can pre-order fresh bread the day before, which will be hanging on the door in the morning.

Vicinity of the holiday home: Mitten im kleinen Dorf Diemitz gelegen, direkt an der Wiese zum Vilzsee

free time activities: Baden, Paddeln, Rudern, Radfahren, Wandern - für uns war es mehr als genug, wer "action" braucht, sollte woandershin fahren

shopping facilities: kleines Lädchen in Luhme, 3 km entfernt (mit dem Rad), ansonsten 12 km bis Mirow. Frische Bäckerbrötchen frei Haus nach Vorbestellung am Vortag.
