Quietly situated holiday home with 60 sqm for 3 persons, 2 bedrooms, covered terrace
You enter the hallway of the holiday home via a separate entrance. Here you will find a wardrobe and enough space for shoes and beach utensils. Adjacent to the hallway is also a small storage room with even more storage space.
In the LIVING and DINING ROOM with open kitchen, there is a 2-person leather sofa with side table and a leather armchair with adjustable footrest for maximum comfort. A flat-screen TV with radio function, games and books provide entertainment. WLAN can be used free of charge. Two windows let plenty of light into the room, making it a great place to have breakfast at the dining table with three chairs.
The open-plan KITCHEN is equipped with everything you need for self-catering. This includes technical appliances such as refrigerator with freezer compartment, dishwasher, microwave, 4-burner ceramic hob, extractor bonnet, coffee maker, kettle and toaster. In addition, there are glasses, crockery, cutlery, pots, pans and many other cooking utensils.
Through the terrace window you can access the furnished and covered TERRACE. It faces west and is protected from the wind. A barbecue is available. However, you can also use the nearby barbecue and smoking area.
Your BATHROOM is equipped with a shower at ground level and partly tiled with mosaic stones as well as a washbasin, WC, mirror, hairdryer and 2 shelves.
There are two BEDROOMS in the house. One is furnished with a double bed (180x200 cm), bedside tables on each side, reading lamps and a chest of drawers. The second bedroom houses a single bed (90x200 cm), bedside table, a large wardrobe and an armchair.
You can park your car comfortably in front of the house and bicycles that you bring with you can be stored under shelter from the wind and weather.
So that you can start your holiday as relaxed as possible, your hosts have a free starter package ready for you. This includes bed linen, towels, cleaning and dish towels, washing-up liquid, toilet paper and rubbish bags.

Location and surroundings of object
The Gartenidyll holiday home is located in Altenkirchen, a municipality of about 1,000 inhabitants on the Wittow peninsula. The location is particularly appreciated by guests who are looking for peace and quiet, away from the hustle and bustle around the holiday strongholds in the southeast of the island. Nevertheless, the Wittow peninsula itself offers many opportunities for leisure activities. Altenkirchen, for example, is ideally suited for cycling or hiking tours in the surrounding area due to its central location. The Hochuferweg leads you directly to the old fishing village of Vitt (8 km) and to Cape Arkona (9 km). The lavishly renovated harbour of Wiek, with its beautiful view of the island of Hiddensee, is only 5 kilometres away.
Altenkirchen is also a perfect starting point for beach lovers. An 11-kilometre-long sandy beach, the Schaabe, is only a few minutes away by bike or car. But also along the steep east and north coast of the peninsula you will find many beaches with fine sand, interrupted by sections strewn with boulders. A legacy of the ice age. The seasons also ensure that the coastline is constantly changing.
Excursions to the island of Hiddensee start from Breege harbour (2 km). From here you can also reach the Störtebeker Festival in Ralswiek by water in the evenings. Other attractions such as the chalk cliffs with the Königsstuhl (25 km) or the harbour town of Sassnitz (28 km) can be reached by car.
Due to Altenkirchen's central location, you also benefit from a good infrastructure. Only 100 metres away is a shopping centre with a discounter, drinks market, department stores', ATM, bakery, butcher's shop and snack bar. There is also a petrol station, doctors and a pharmacy in the village.
