In the entrance area there are wall cupboards with plenty of storage space. Cleaning utensils are available, as well as a foldable handcart for beach items.
The spacious green areas in the holiday park may be used by guests. Garden furniture (wooden chairs/table and seat cushions) is available in the apartment. There is a playground in the holiday park.
The apartment is accessed via a stairwell shared by two apartments (double apartment door).
Free PARKING SPACE 50 meters away. Bicycle rack in front of the house.

Location and surroundings of object
Bakenberg is a district of the municipality of Dranske, in the north of the island of Rügen. The holiday home is located on the north coast of the Wittow peninsula. It is about 500 metres to the beach through the coastal forest. The beach is subject to the forces of nature and therefore changes quickly. Sections with fine sand and stones alternate. The steep coast promises a great view of the Baltic Sea. On clear days, you can even see the Danish Mon.
The Wittow peninsula is especially popular with hikers and cyclists. The paths are not too far and there is always an opportunity for a stopover in one of the small communities along the way. Along the north coast, the Hochuferweg leads to the famous Cape Arkona and its three lighthouses, one of which is still in operation. An extensive bathing beach (11 km long) with fine sand is located between Juliusruh and Glowe.
When visiting Rügen, a ride on the Rasender Roland narrow-gauge railway should definitely be planned. Other attractions include the chalk coast near Sassnitz (with the Königsstuhl), the Prora Natural Heritage Centre, the seaside resort architecture in Binz and the UNESCO World Heritage city of Stralsund.

Great holiday apartment
The holiday apartment was very clean and well-equipped. We felt very comfortable.
The only small downside. Unfortunately, there were no fly/mosquito screens. Thus, airing in the evening became a challenge with the mosquitoes.
Otherwise, we were very satisfied.
