Holiday flat with 36 sqm for 2 persons, double bed, terrace in the inner courtyard
The holiday flat is located in the extension of the thatched main house. You enter your holiday home via a separate entrance and enter the open-plan kitchen. There is also a small cloakroom and space for your shoes.
The KITCHEN has everything you need for self-catering. This includes technical appliances such as a fridge (with freezer), dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, kettle and toaster. Furthermore, of course, crockery, glasses, cutlery, pots and pans and other cooking utensils.
From the kitchen you enter the LIVING and DINING AREA. A dining table and two chairs, a large sofa, a coffee table, reading lamp, chest of drawers and flat-screen TV await you here. WLAN is available free of charge.
The BEDROOM is also newly renovated and has a double bed (180 x 200 cm), two bedside tables and lamps and a large wardrobe with mirror. The equipment also includes a hoover.
The windowed BATHROOM has a walk-in shower, washbasin, vanity unit, mirror and toilet. There is also a towel rail.
The south-facing TERRACE is sheltered from the wind in the lovingly planted inner courtyard. It is very popular with guests. Garden furniture, parasol and barbecue invite you to linger.
You can park your car conveniently on the property and bicycles you bring with you can be stored away from the wind and weather. A high chair and cot can be provided free of charge.
So that you can start your holiday as relaxed as possible, your hosts have a free starter pack ready for you. This includes bed linen, towels, cleaning and tea towels, washing-up liquid, dishwasher tablets, toilet paper and bin liners.

Location and surroundings of object
The Gartenblick holiday flat is located in the municipality of Altenkirchen on the Wittow peninsula, which has a population of around 1,000. The location is particularly appreciated by guests looking for peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of the holiday strongholds in the south-east of the island. Nevertheless, the Wittow peninsula itself offers many opportunities for leisure activities. Thanks to its central location, Altenkirchen is ideal for cycling or hiking tours in the surrounding area. The Hochuferweg leads you directly to the old fishing village of Vitt (8 km) and to Cape Arkona (9 km). The lavishly renovated Wiek harbour, with its wonderful view of the island of Hiddensee, is only 5 km away.
Altenkirchen is also the perfect starting point for beach lovers. An 11 kilometre long sandy beach, the Schaabe, is only a few minutes away by bike or car. But you will also find many beaches with fine sand along the steep east and north coast of the peninsula, interspersed with stretches dotted with boulders. A legacy of the ice age. The seasons also ensure that the coastline is constantly changing.
Excursions to the island of Hiddensee start from Breege harbour (2 km). From here you can also reach the Störtebeker Festival in Ralswiek by water in the evening. Other attractions such as the chalk cliffs with the Königsstuhl (25 km) or the harbour town of Sassnitz (28 km) can be reached by car.
Thanks to Altenkirchen's central location, you also benefit from a good infrastructure. Just 100 metres away is a shopping centre with a discount store, drinks market, department stores', ATM, bakery, butcher and snack bar. There is also a petrol station, doctors and a pharmacy in the village.
