Description
Your holiday residence is located on the ground floor (mezzanine) of the castle building. Comfortably over the 2 steps (or ramp) of the entrance stairs you enter the historic reception hall and reach your flat. The bright, spacious rooms with a ceiling height of 4.40 m will delight any lover of historical buildings. Here, the tasteful antique ambience as well as the modern furnishings guarantee pleasurable relaxation. A smart TV (55 inch) is at your disposal. The flat is centrally heated, has a wood-burning stove and an open kitchen.
Of course, Wi-Fi is available free of charge. It is therefore also possible to operate a workplace/IT workstation in Vogelsang Castle and then relax in nature.
In the living room there is a sofa with sleeping function for up to 2 people.

Location and surroundings of object
The non-smoking holiday flats, lovingly renovated in 2020, near the seaside resort of Ueckermünde, in the village of Vogelsang-Warsin, offer space and atmosphere for a Baltic Sea/Haff holiday with up to 4-6 people. You are also welcome to bring your dog.
Your holiday accommodation is located in the castle building. It is currently our largest holiday flat. The guest house is located directly next to Vogelsang Castle in the middle of 60,000 square metres of enclosed parkland. The restored 19th century castle, which is inhabited, dominates the building ensemble.
With just over 1,900 hours of sunshine a year, the neighbouring island of Usedom and thus also our lagoon coast is the sunniest region in Germany.
You can reach the bathing beach and the small marina in about 10 minutes on foot. Shopping facilities, restaurants, zoo, cinema etc. are available in the seaside resort of Ueckermünde and can be reached by car in about 10 minutes. In Vogelsang there is fresh produce at the vegetable stall and also an "aunt Emma's shop". Bus connections are in the immediate vicinity. The community of Vogelsang-Warsin is surrounded by woods, meadows and water and lies on the Usedom-Stettin long-distance cycle route.
The Baltic Sea beach on the island of Usedom with its imperial resorts can be reached by ferry (from the seaside resort of Ueckermünde) or car in a good hour. The old port city of Szczecin is also worth a day trip (car journey time approx. 50 min)

Please read them carefully. These conditions include, among others, the following: The lessee can withdraw from the contract at any time (cancel or terminate). The declaration of withdrawal must be submitted in written form to the contact details of the lessor specified in the rental agreement, and takes effect upon receipt by the lessor. If the lessee withdraws or terminates the contract before the start of the rental period, without naming a subsequent tenant who enters into the contract under the same conditions, the lessor is entitled to compensation as follows: Withdrawal, termination up to 120 days before rental start: 20% of the rental price Withdrawal, termination up to 90 days before rental start: 40% of the rental price Withdrawal, termination up to 60 days before rental start: 60% of the rental price Withdrawal, termination up to 30 days before rental start: 80% of the rental price Withdrawal, termination from the 14th day before rental start: 100% of the rental price, which are to be paid into the lessor's account specified in the termination confirmation within 5 banking days after receipt of the termination confirmation. The lessor advises the lessee to take out travel cancellation insurance for the contract value.

Your holiday flat is located in Vogelsang Castle. Surrounded by tall trees, you can enjoy the peace and wonderful atmosphere. When you listen to the sound of the wind in the treetops and the chirping of the birds over a glass of wine on the terrace or during a walk in the park, then you have really arrived. The place Vogelsang lives up to its name here. There are places to sit in the park. Directly at the entrance to the castle grounds is a children's playground, newly built in 2020, with a shaded seating area/table.
The minimum stay is 4 nights in low season and 7 nights in high season.

Living oasis
We felt very comfortable in the spacious and well-equipped flat. The flat has a fantastic view of the surrounding park, which we especially enjoyed in the evenings with a glass of wine
The on-site service by Mrs. and Mr. Wambera was just great. They were always approachable, very helpful and provided us with valuable information about interesting excursions. Thank you for this.
