Description

The holiday home is traditionally thatched with the typical "horse heads" and two harmoniously curved bat dormers. The sandy beach approx. 200m away and the cosy wood-burning stove allow year-round relaxation on the romantic ground floor with underfloor heating there is the living room (leather couch and rocking chair) with wood-burning stove, TV and a stereo with CD/cassette deck, a modern kitchen with dishwasher and a bathroom with shower, WC and upstairs are two separate bedrooms for two people each large property includes two car parking spaces and a terrace accessible from the living room.

The outdoor house is located approx. 200m from the sandy beach. The fine sandy beach is bordered by a stretch of unspoilt beach, which invites you to romantic walks or long strolls with your dog. The district of Schwarzer Busch lies directly on the Baltic Sea with a beach promenade and several restaurants. The 37-square-kilometre island in the blue Baltic Sea at the gates of the Hanseatic city of Wismar has everything to offer, from nature to bathing paradise. Wide, fine-sand beaches with very good water quality, which is checked every 14 days, guarantee bathing fun for the whole family thanks to the shallow water in the shore area. Extensive hikes or bicycle tours on well-signposted paths through small, dreamy fishing villages or along the wildly romantic cliffs offer relaxation and recreation in the healthy salty waters of Kirchdorf, the centre of the island, even in the early and late season. The most visible landmark here is the Gothic bastion church from the 13th century, which rises above the tranquil harbour. Traditional wooden shipbuilding is still practised in the small shipyard, and the lovingly furnished local history museum provides information about the history of the bird island Langenwerder is a reserve for rare animal species and can be easily seen from the cliffs. Winter at the Nixenhus

We spent a holiday in the Nixenhus in February 2011.
It was icy weather outside, but the quaint cosiness of this house completely captivated us and we will definitely come back sometime. The close proximity of the beach and the good shopping facilities meant that we were able to relax even in winter.
A dream house in a dream setting !!!

Island Poel is always worth a trip !!!
