... alles gut, aber die Sanitäranlagen ...

Man muss wissen, dass das Bad mit Toilette nur durch ein (1) Schlafzimmer betreten werden kann. Und wenn man nicht in diesem Schlafzimmer untergebracht ist, hat man schlechte Karten. Denn wer will schon nachts durch ein fremdes Schlafzimmer tappern, um aufs Klo zu kommen, und das pro Person vielleicht sogar mehrfach. Es gibt allerdings im Treppenhaus außerhalb der Wohnung eine Art "Notklo", dass ist allerdings nicht beheizt, was im Hochsommer so wohl noch geht, nicht aber im Winter bei Minusgraden.
Auch das Bad kann man morgens erst dann betreten, wenn das Paar im vorgelagerten Schlafzimmer alles "erledigt" hat, was insbesondere bei Langschläfern schon einen Teil des Vormittags einnehmen kann.
Trotzdem kann man das Objekt empfehlen, wenn man sehenden Auges die Sanitärsituation in Kauf nimmt, wozu mann aber sehr vertraut sein sollte, z.B. Eltern und Kinder. Bei zwei nicht so vertrauten Paaren ist die Sache scho sehr zu überdenken.

A holiday castle...

... but unfortunately, we had to bring our own castle dog...

The gastronomy in the Allgäu region is excellent, but this beautiful kitchen, the center of the vacation apartment in this, from the impression, massive house/castle, inspired us to cook together more often than planned. Potatoes from the field next door and eggs from free-range chickens on the property were an added bonus.
We greatly enjoyed this vacation and would like to thank our hostess once again for her patience, calmly and thoughtfully answering all of our questions (and there were many ;-)

Unique vacation apartment.

We felt immediately comfortable in this unique holiday apartment. The description and pictures already caught our attention. We enjoyed the cozy and bright kitchen-living room. We also had several nice conversations with the very friendly hosts. It cannot be ruled out that we will book this exceptional holiday apartment again. Thank you for the beautiful vacation days that we were able to spend here!

Holiday flat of a special kind

Due to the nature and history of the building, this is certainly a special holiday flat.
The design and furnishings of the large rooms spread the charm of earlier stately homes.
The location and view of the house is fantastic. The landlords are very friendly and caring. The available daily fresh eggs from free-range chickens enrich the morning breakfast in the spacious and modern equipped kitchen.
The high rooms provide coolness on hot summer days.

Very nice and spacious holiday flat

This was our first time in this flat and we liked it very much, except for the weather, especially the beautiful location, the kitchen is not only cosy but there was also everything you need for cooking, also the different spices, really great. The hostess Elvira is very, very nice and friendly. For those who like hiking and need peace and quiet, it is just right. I would definitely recommend this holiday flat.

Charm and ambience

Very beautiful old authentic villa in the best location with lots of charm, top equipped, with great views, surrounded by meadow and a fantastically large garden with flowers, fruit, vegetables and flowers, ancient trees and chickens plus eggs. A large selection of books, films and games to pass the time in the flat and a particularly large kitchen with all imaginable utensils. Hiking and cycling trails, lake, town, lift are all close by.
All this and the very nice, friendly and uncomplicated host family makes us very happy to come back.

A completely relaxing vacation

We spent three weeks in this beautiful apartment with a picturesque view and felt completely comfortable. Thanks to the bikes provided, we were able to get around well without a car. We could walk directly into the forest and go swimming in the forest pool, ride bikes to go shopping and explore the surrounding area, and travel longer distances by bus and train. The apartment is equipped with everything you need, and also has a huge collection of games. And above all: the landlords are very nice and welcoming!

Holidays like in the times of King Ludwig

We (a married couple without children) spent great and relaxing holidays at Ludwigshöhe in a venerable house. The location is unique. Quiet and great location. Hikes are possible right from the doorstep. And the best part: the fresh eggs!!! Just incredible.
We will gladly come back.

Super beautiful villa

The holiday apartment of Elvira has a wonderful atmosphere, a large fully equipped kitchen, a beautiful antique living room, lovely bedrooms, and a modern stylish bathroom. Everything is very spacious and beautifully located with great views, a super nice garden, and everything close to nature. It couldn't be better, we will come back!

Vacation like with friends

The old villa is wonderfully surrounded by an old tree grove.
The host family is very friendly and lovable.
The garden is spacious and all paths are open to you.
If you have any questions, help is provided immediately and good tips are given for excursions.
The apartment contains old historical elements with beautiful modern elements.
It is furnished with great attention to detail.
The kitchen leaves nothing to be desired.
The view into the green with an unobstructed view is very enjoyable.
The apartment is highly recommended!

Gerne wieder

Wir hatten eine schöne Woche zu viert im Allgäu.
Die Wohnung im Erdgeschoss ist bestens ausgestattet, die Vermieter sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Es stehen Fahrräder zur Verfügung, die ausgeliehen werden können. Wer will, bekommt frische Eier von den Hühnern.
Es gibt ausreichend Handtücher und unzählige Spiele.
Wir waren wandern, schwimmen und radeln und bis zum Bodensee sind es ca. 45 Minuten mit dem Auto.
Alles in allem ein gelungener Urlaub.

Wir waren zwei Paare. Zu beachten ist, dass das Bad nur über ein Schlafzimmer begehbar ist. Es gibt außerhalb der Wohnung eine zusätzliche Toilette. Uns hat dies nicht gestört.

Pure Erholung

Wer Ruhe und Erholung sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Die schöne Villa Ludwigshöhe liegt außerhalb direkt an Wiese und Wald. Die Wege laden zu wunderschönenSpaziergängen ein, die man auch mit einem älteren Hund gut bewältigen kann.
Die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht.
Ist man ein Spiele-Fan, findet man hier eine groß Auswahl.
Im Garten zwitschern eine Unmenge diverser Vögel von den uralten Bäumen. Wunderbar!
Sehr nettes Vermieter-Ehepaar!
Und lecker sind die Eier der dort lebenden Hühner.
War ein schöner ErholungsUrlaub!!

Wunderschöne Wohnung für Familien

Die Wohnung wurde von der Familie Göres sehr geschmackvoll renoviert und ist voll ausgestattet mit allem, was man braucht. Plus frische Eier von eigenen Hühnern. Der Schnitt der Wohnung ist allerdings vor allem für Familien geeignet.
Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Entschleunigung

Wir haben unseren Urlaub in der Villa Ludwigshöhe sehr genossen: die wunderschöne Ortsrandlage am Wald lud zu wunderschönen Spaziergängen ein. Den Charme des alten Gemäuers,liebevoll renoviert, und den wunderschönen Garten haben wir sehr genossen und konnten soooo richtig runterfahren ! Es hat uns so gut gefallen, dass wir gleich für den Herbst erneut einen Urlaub bei der Familie Lohß -Göres gebucht haben - das sagt doch alles !!!!!

Cosy flat in the countryside

Tastefully furnished flat in a great location! We had a few relaxing days in nature. The sheep, goats and chickens were the children's highlight, I especially enjoyed the walks in the adjacent forest.
The flat has everything your heart desires and was recently renovated. Ideal for young families!

Wonderful weather and wonderful holiday flat

We had a wonderful week with fantastic weather in the holiday flat Ludwigshöhe. Well, the weather was a coincidence, but we were assured that this is one of the sunniest areas in Germany. The surrounding area is beautiful and invites you to take leisurely walks. My personal highlight was the "hike" through the Isny Moor, the highlight for the family, on the other hand, was certainly the Hechelmann exhibition with beautiful pictures that inspire young and old
I must also mention the kitchen, an absolute dream. We cooked several times, even though we had planned to take a holiday :-)
Parking was of course no problem, there is plenty of space, just like in the flat - we felt right at home. Thank you, dear family Göres!
