Description
The idyllic, high-quality furnished holiday home with 288 sqm of living space is located in the countryside not far from the centre of the village, which is only a few minutes' walk away. Situated on a private road without through traffic, you can start hiking immediately. The magnificent view of Staufen, Hündle and Hochgrat is omnipresent. To relax, you can use the heated outdoor whirlpool after the sauna in the garden, take a warm shower right next to it beforehand and go to the spacious garden house to change.
A large illuminated garage directly at the house offers space also for winter sports equipment or bicycles
Under the loggia is the sheltered entrance to the house. A bench invites you to linger. The front door opens to the ground floor with a spacious hallway, cloakroom with plenty of cupboard space, shower room, new fitted kitchen, reading room, in front of it a conservatory with fireplace, where a log fire flickers on cooler evenings, and exit to the large south-west terrace. While the conservatory is furnished with cowhide on the floor and cosy armchairs, the reading room is rather elegantly furnished with black lacquer furniture in front of a turquoise wall. Bookshelves offer enough reading material for all requirements
Next door is the fitted kitchen with plenty of crockery and all appliances such as dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer, ceramic hob, oven, coffee and tea maker, toaster, hand mixer, etc. A dining area is available at the window.
A digital flat-screen TV hangs in the large living room, which can be swivelled to view from the cosy dining area as well as from the modern-antique furnished living area on the comfortable sofa or the wing chair. The dining area, built by the best interior decorator in the Allgäu, nestles with the bench around the white basic stove, which provides cosy warmth in winter. The cosy Allgäu atmosphere is emphasised by the built-in wall and elaborate ceiling panelling in light oak. The hand-painted farm cupboard contains glasses and other crockery.
The ground stove is heated from the large hallway. With a bench and a built-in cupboard painted turquoise, as well as the white cloakroom corner, this offers plenty of space for sports and other clothing. From here you reach a black and white modern shower room.
Up a flight of stairs is the "Abendsonne" bedroom opposite with double bed, wall unit, shelves and its own shower room as well as the sheltered loggia. Through a spacious hallway you reach the bedroom "Ruheinsel" on the right with double bed, wall unit with safe, antique table with chair and 2nd TV. Separated by a wide arched door is the "Red Room" next door, for a baby or toddler, for "snorers" or simply to retire on the red sofa bed. The left bedroom "Morning Sun" also has a double bed, wardrobe and shelves.
From the large sun balcony in front of the bedrooms you have a wonderful view of the Staufen and the long snow-covered Hochgrat. To the left in the hallway is the bright bathroom with exceptionally deep tub, extra-large shower, wash "table" and WC, screened off behind a wall. This bathroom, like the others in the house, has just been renovated
From the covered entrance, down a flight of stairs, you reach the recreation room with a cosy sitting area and bar table. There is a washing machine and a drying machine. Drying rack, iron and ironing board as well as hoover and cleaning utensils can be found in a cupboard. Another bedroom with a double bed, built-in wardrobe and shelves with lots of reading material is located in the basement. On the other side of the recreation room, you can relax in the spacious wellness oasis: Family sauna with sanarium, washbasin, WC (partitioned off) and shower (with rain shower and surge shower). After a sauna session, you can relax on the loungers with relaxing music and changing coloured lights and read one of the many books available on the shelves
Of course, in addition to the telephone connection, there is also free Wi-Fi and fast internet.
In addition to the balcony and loggia in front of the bedrooms, the house has a very sunny large terrace with awning and garden furniture, as well as a heated whirlpool behind the house that can be used all year round. Next to it is a garden house, also equipped with garden furniture. The pond near the terrace is romantically lit in the evening, as is the property. Behind the completely fenced and hedged garden flows the Juget stream, a torrent in which big children can find treasures when there is no threat of storms or floods.

Opposite, behind a meadow, the Café Sonnenstüble invites you to enjoy homemade cakes and smaller dishes. The friendly innkeepers are happy to give tips on excursions and the weather for the next few days. Following the Meerau road uphill, you reach the Alpe Mohr, where there is always conviviality in summer. Or you can visit the Hotel Hauber, where massages and menus can be booked. From the house you can quickly walk to the centre of the village, past the sports field, the school and the shopping market
Oberstaufen is a widely known health resort, famous for its Schroth cures. Beautiful shops and Allgäu restaurants invite you to linger. Wellness, but also sports and socialising are very important. Hiking and winter sports are possible at all altitudes. In addition, you have the possibility to use mountain railways (also with dog!), many buses, swimming pool, summer toboggan run as well as cross-country ski runs, ski lifts and ski passes free of charge in winter with the Oberstaufen Plus Card issued by us!
In winter, you can reach the floodlit and snow-covered cross-country ski trail in just a few metres. The local bus takes you free of charge to the skiing areas on the Imberg, Hochgrat or Hündle. You can also take the local bus to the Alpsee, where all kinds of water sports can be practised in summer, and hiking or ice skating is possible on the ice rink in winter.
Lake Constance is only 3/4 of an hour away. An excursion there is always worthwhile. You can also reach Munich in 2 hours by train from the centre of the village. Or an excursion to the Königsschlösern is eventful.

Oberstaufen is also a paradise for golfers. Several scenic golf courses invite you to tee off in the immediate vicinity. Paragliding courses can also be taken.

Super nice holiday home for groups!
At the end of February, my friends and I went skiing in Oberstaufen and discovered this wonderful house. There were 8 of us and we had so much space that sometimes you had to search because the house is so big. We had four large bedrooms, 4 modern bathrooms, a wonderful whirlpool and enough space to sit. We were all incredibly thrilled and extremely happy to have found this house. Great for skiing with a garage and a cellar where you could store your stuff. It is only a few metres to the bus and only 2-3 stops to a really great, large ski slope. The price-performance ratio was also unbeatable
We still rave about it today and would definitely book it again!

Already at the North Sea in Dangast, we have furnished holiday homes in a very special style. Each one is completely different, partly "risen from ruins". So we also wanted a house in the mountains. After a long search, we liked Oberstaufen best, because here mountains and lake meet. So you can do water sports in summer, hiking, cycling and skiing in winter. When we found this beautiful house, where tradition and modernity now came together under our direction, we felt we had arrived.
