The Christine holiday home is in a very quiet and secluded location, surrounded by meadows and woods. The little house has a homely and quite rustic style.
It offers a relatively large amount of space on three floors and you can divide it up nicely as a small group or family and create space for a little privacy at the same time, however, the central kitchen invites you again and again to the common table.

Location and surroundings of object
As already mentioned, the holiday home Christine is located in the middle of nature. You can't get much closer to nature, at most a log cabin directly in the forest could top the location in this respect. The garden is quite small, but it leads directly into a meadow and two hundred metres further on you are already in the forest. The cottage stands on a hill surrounded by hills and is a place of peace and seclusion ideal for relaxing and recuperating. Hinterbrennberg is a small hamlet (smallest settlement) with eight houses. It is one of the westernmost points in the municipality of Altusried and embedded in the wonderful Allgäu nature. Hills, meadows, forests, everything right around the house. A small road through which no 10 cars drive every day, as the road is a dead end and only three other residents use it up to that point.
The place itself is just quiet and out of the way, though quite zebtral between important towns in the Allgäu. We are pretty much in the middle of the Kempten, Isny and Leutkirch triangle

Very rustic, very quaint
It is an ancient house with old and older furnishings but clean. Everything necessary is available, even for several people. However, for my taste, there could actually be fewer cobwebs. Located in pure nature, absolutely quiet.
There is plenty of space in the house. The landlady lives opposite, is very nice, and our dogs were also welcome.
Those who like it quiet and appreciate the charm of an old house are in the right place.

Rustic house with a lot of charm.
The house has the typical rustic charm you would expect in this area.
It is well equipped without a lot of frills and very quietly located
The hostess is a soul of a person and takes great care of the needs of her tenants without being intrusive.
We felt very comfortable and would have liked to stay longer.

Pure relaxation
We spent a very relaxing holiday in the middle of meadows and forests. The farmhouse, which is over 300 years old, has its own quaint charm. The furnishings fit in well. There is everything you need for a nice holiday. We felt very comfortable there and wonderfully looked after by Mrs Würzer. You can go on beautiful hikes directly from the house. The surrounding towns and sights can be reached quickly.
The price is completely reasonable. If you are looking for relaxation and not luxury, this is the place for you.
Other "guests" who are upset about cobwebs, which is unavoidable in the countryside, should rather book a hotel in the city and not write such reviews !!!!

Time out
It is a charming old house that also takes its temporary residents back in time. The hostess is extremely accommodating and takes great care of her guests. One should be aware that this is not a 5-star accommodation, but rather reflects a rural life. In any case, we were able to come to terms with it very well and had a few lovely days.

Erholung Pur
Tolle Vermieterin, tolle Lage...Das Haus hat alles was man benötigt.
Rundherum weite Wiesen und Wälder zum entspannen für Auge und Seele.
Wir haben uns zu acht sehr wohl gefühlt.

Ein Haus mit Seele und Charakter
Wer im Urlaub auch nach etwas Luxus sucht ist hier fehl am Platz, wer jedcoch den Charm eines alten Hauses in einer herrlichen Umgebung mit sehr viel Ruhe und direktem Kontakt zur Natur sucht ist hier richtig.
Unser 14tägiger Urlaub 2020 war von sehr viel herzlichkeit geprägt, eine Vermieterin wie Frau Würzer haben wir noch nie vorher angetroffen - sie ist eine Seele von Frau, die ihr letztes Hemd für ihre Gäste opfern würde. Auffällig für uns auch die Freundlichkeit der einheimischen Bevölkerung, davon könnten sich manch andere Regionen eine dicke Scheibe abschneiden.
Unsere bisherig favorisierte Urlaubsregion, die Bretagne, muss nun weichen. Für 2021 haben wir, gleich vor Ort, wieder bei Frau Würzer reserviert und freuen uns schon jetzt auf ein Wiedersehen.

Rustikal und gemühtlich
Ein sehr rustikales in die Jahre gekommenes Ferienhaus. Absolut ruhiger Lage in einer Sackgasse umgeben von den traumhaften Wiesen und Wäldern. Direkt am Haus wunderschöne Wanderwege und natürlich auch Rad Wege. Das es eigentlich immer Berg aufgeht ist Kondition für Radfahrer von Vorteil oder eben ein E-Bike?. Die Vermieterin Frau wurzle ist sehr sympathisch und auch hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind sehr großzügig über Platzmangel kann sich hier keine beschweren- nur die Deckenhöhe ist bis maximal 2 m schon gewöhnungsbedürftig. Jede Etage verfügt über ein Bad welche absolut im sauberen Zustand sind. Es muss für jeden selbstverständlich sein dass man für diesen Mietpreis kein fünf Sterne Haus erhält. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt und auch gut erholt. Für Familien mit mehreren Kindern eine absolute Empfehlung.

Erholsam und ruhig
Ich komme seit vielen Jahren in das Ferienhaus und wir wurden immer sehr herzlich aufgenommen und betreut! Es fehlt an nichts in diesem Haus und falls doch ist Frau Würzer immer sehr hilfsbereit und bemüht das es Ihren Gästen an Nichts fehlt! Diese Unterkunft ist keine 5 Sterne Unterkunft aber für alle geeignet die sich erholen wollen. Es ist gemütlich und urig, eben ein richtiges Allgäuer Häusle!

Gruselhaus Bestätigung!
Ich kann mich nur der vorherigen Bewertung anschließen!
Voller Vorfreude fuhren wir mit der Familie ins Allgäu...angekommen im Horrorhaus endete der Urlaub!Eingangstüre mit Spinnweben zugewebt...drinnen ein extrem muffiger Geruch...alles dreckig,eklig,klebrig,genau wie die Dame in der vorherigen Bewertung schreibt,wir mussten das selbe erleben...Geschockt,das einem so etwas angeboten wird...fuhren wir mit weinenden Kindern die etwa 300km wieder nach Hause...

Gruselhaus
Abgewohnt- bis ins kleinste Detail alles vergilbt und am kleben, Spinnen hängen verhungert in eingestaubten Spinnennetzen, überall sind solche Spinnengräber zu finden, im Bad neben der Dusche, im Kleiderschrank...
Abstellkammern gibt es nicht, der angesammelte Krempel aus vergangenen Jahrzehnten - oder Jahrhunderten(?) wird durch eine eingestaubte Stoffbahn versteckt als eine Art Raumtrennung. Die Treppen sind lebensgefährlich am wackeln bzw anders defekt.
In der Küche klebten sogar die Geschirrtücher, im Wasserkocher befand sich eine flüssige und stinkende wabbernde Masse ---
das Haus ist ein 350 Jahre altes Gemäuer sagt die Verrmieterin, sie habe sogar extra die Fenster geputzt... das mag ja sein, aber für eine ausreichende Pflege bedarf es mehr...die Betten sahen oberflächlich ok aus, jedoch unter dem Laken lugten mich gestückelte Schaumstoffreste an.
Insgesamt fühlte ich mich nach einer kurzen Besichtigung bereits völlig verdreckt und unwohl. Wir haben es nicht ausgehalten und sind wieder abgereist.
Für Sauftouren scheint es auszureichend, nach eigenem Erzählen waren das in der Vergangenheit die einzigen Kunden. Die Lage ist herrlich - hinterm Haus...ein verwilderter Abhang - vorm Haus das Haus der Vermieterin.

Cosy house in beautiful nature
You should not rent this holiday home if you are looking for luxury accommodation. However, if you feel comfortable in a quaint, cosy, old-fashioned but very well-equipped house (and are not very big), this holiday home is definitely to be recommended
The peace and quiet and the beautiful nature ensure that you can relax wonderfully
We were there with 3 adults, a toddler and 4 dogs and were very well received. Unfortunately there is no fenced garden where you could let the dogs jump. The landlady lives across the road and is always helpful.
Since the weather also cooperated, we were able to spend a wonderful week there.
