Description

Son Manxé was built in 2000 in the style of traditional Mallorcan houses. The one-storey building is located in the back of the 3,419 m2 plot and is not visible from the street. The whole area is fenced. Access is through the wrought-iron, electrically operated gate. Parking for several vehicles is available.

AS A GENERAL RULE:
Son Manxé is rented since 2013 as a holiday home. We are proud to have many regular guests by now. Especially important to us is the personal care. All work is done by the family. We are always approachable and live nearby, so we can be on the spot.

Children are welcome and find plenty of space inside and outside to play and run around. Cot, high chair and a bath with changing mat are available, as well as Rausfallperren for the normal beds and children dishes. Outside there are 2 swings and 1 slide as well as a children's table with chairs for the little ones. The sandbox with toys is under a large walnut, so that in summer enough shade is available. The direct pool area is provided with a child safety lock.

OUTDOORS:
The covered terrace and the garden invite you to enjoy the scenery and the famous Mallorcan nights. The olive and fruit trees around the house create an intimate and cozy atmosphere. For avid grill masters there is a big gas grill. The dining table is extendable and has 6 comfortable chairs.

The pool (8,0x4,7x1,3m) is surrounded by a large lawn with swing and slide and a sun terrace with 6 comfortable loungers and parasol. An outdoor shower with solar panels also offers hot water (19l). On request, the wooden fence of the child safety lock can be removed. The entire area is protected by a green hedge.

For sporty is behind the house a table tennis table. A tarpaulin provides the necessary shade. Rackets and balls are placed. Chairs for the spectators are available.

INDOOR
Son Manxé is characterized by a very spacious living area. Quiet air conditioners (hot / cold) in all rooms provide a pleasant temperature in the house in every season.

The dining room with fireplace and the kitchen with american bar together have 42 m2. Our guests especially appreciate the rich kitchen and dishes. The two rocking chairs in the dining room are used by all.

The living room (36 m2) is equipped with sofas, satellite TV, DVD player, games table and a chill-out / snuggle corner to read, relax, watch TV or play for the children.

Internet: The WLAN has 6MB download and 2MB upload. No data limit.

In the sleeping area there are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with shower / WC.

Location and surroundings of object

Son Manxé is located on the east coast of Mallorca in the municipality of Sant Llorenç des Cardassar. The traffic connection is good. Only 4 km to the main road MA-15, which connects Palma with Cala Rajada.

The nearest village is SON CARRIÓ, a small, very lively village with a predominantly local population. The distance is about 2 km. We have two bakeries here, which are appreciated far beyond the village. A small supermarket offers everything for everyday needs at reasonable prices. The pharmacy is very well run. In the restaurant area there is a bar with its own pizza oven (from 20h) and another, which offers tapas every Friday. In addition, there is a now renowned restaurant with an ambitious young chef who redefines Mallorcan cuisine. A bank with 24h ATM is also available.

BEACHES / COASTAL LOCATIONS
The fine sandy beaches of CALA MILLOR, SA COMA and S'ILLOT are about 8 - 10 km.
In these places you will find many shops, restaurants, sports and entertainment facilities as well as large grocery stores with their own parking spaces.

PORTO CRISTO, known by the dragon caves, is about 6 km away. The town also has a small beach. Popular here are the many restaurants along the harbor. A walk is worthwhile. On Sundays the weekly market takes place above the harbor.

There are three smaller sandy beaches behind Porto Cristo, 7 - 9 km away:
CALA ANGUILA, CALA MENDIA, CALA ROMANTICA (Estany d'en Mas).

HIKE
Nature Reserve Costa de Llevant (22 km) near Artà offers several routes with different levels of difficulty. Some lead to smaller beaches. The most famous bay is Cala Torta. Magnificent views of the entire coast and Menorca.

Four 18-hole golf courses:
Son Servera (16 km), Pula Golf (16 km), Canyamel (21 km), Capdepera (21 km)

Cancellation terms:

  • Sollte der Mieter sich dafür entscheiden, den Vertrag aufzuheben, hat er kein Recht auf die Rückerstattung der bereits geleisteten Zahlungen.

You will find in the house an information folder with all information on shopping facilities with opening times, restaurant recommendations and street maps as well as information material from the tourist office. There are also some excursions indicated. We are happy to give you tips and suggestions for your own tours.

Simply super!

Due to Corona, we unfortunately had to postpone our planned trip from 2020 several times, but now we were finally able to arrive in August 2022 and spend a week in this great finca. It was a wonderful stay. The finca and the property are very beautifully designed. There is really nothing that is missing, you will find everything in the accommodation. The equipment is simply top! The contact beforehand was always very cordial and above all accommodating. We can recommend the accommodation without reservation. Of course, a rental car is a must. But you can reach everything very quickly, e.g. Cala Millor or Sa Coma are only 10 minutes away by car. Perfect. On arrival we were greeted with a typical Mallorcan cake. It was simply fantastic. Thank you very much!

Perfect country house holiday

After this was our 8th finca in which we stayed on Mallorca, we can truly say that the Finca Son Manxe was by far the best. The finca was in top condition! Very well-kept garden and a very clean and well-maintained house. The furnishings, especially in the kitchen, left nothing to be desired. You arrived and felt at home. The complete basic equipment such as toilet paper, kitchen roll, dishwasher tablets, detergent, hand soap, spices, even homemade olive oil were available. You could also help yourself to fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables from the garden. There were two bicycles with which you could bike to the nearby bakery in the early morning sun. The owners of the finca were very nice and always concerned about our well-being. Upon arrival, there was even a Mallorcan cake and cool drinks waiting for us. If there were any questions, the German friend of the family was always available by phone. Thank you very much for this wonderful time at Finca Son Manxe!

Daumen hoch für diese tolle Unterkunft!

Wir (Familie: 50, 49, 16, 13 Jahre) haben in der Finca Son Manxé einen traumhaften 14-tägigen Urlaub verbracht und können diese Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen.

Betreuung vor Ort:
Die Unterkunft wird von einer spanischen Familie vermietet, die auch alles selbst in Ordnung hält. Ein kleines Familienunternehmen könnte man sagen. Bei Übergabe war ein Familienmitglied und eine deutsche Freundin (Marianne) der Familie vor Ort.
Marianne hat alles sehr ausführlich erklärt und viele Tipps für Ausflüge, Einkaufen, Strände etc. für uns gehabt. Haben wir so noch nicht erlebt. Absolut top!!! Vielen Dank noch einmal an dieser Stelle.
Bei Problemen oder Fragen vor und während unseres Aufenthaltes war Marianne immer für uns erreichbar.

Lage der Finca:
Ruhig, ein paar Kilometer von Son Carrio entfernt. Nachbarn sind so weit entfernt, dass man sie nahezu nicht wahrnimmt. Das Grundstück ist komplett eingewachsen, umgeben von einem Obstgarten. Intimsphäre ist garantiert. Hier stört nichts die Erholung.

Ausstattung/Zustand:
Das Haus ist in einen Top-Zustand. Man merkt einfach, dass der Familie sehr viel daran liegt, die Finca zu erhalten und es den Gästen so angenehm wie möglich zu machen.
Die Küchenausstattung ist mehr wie komplett. Hier lässt sich richtig gut kochen. Großer Gasgrill ist vorhanden, sogar an eine Stahlbürste zum Reinigen des Grillrostes wurde gedacht. Gläser, Teller, Schüsseln, Besteck etc. alles in ausreichender Anzahl vorhanden.
Basis-Ausstattung für Strandausflüge ist ebenfalls vorhanden, wie auch Kühltaschen bzw. Kühlbox für die Einkäufe.
Der Pool wurde zweimal die Woche gecheckt und auch der Rasen gemäht.
WLAN haben wir primär für´s Surfen, Whatsapp, Instagram etc. genutzt. Dafür ist die Geschwindigkeit voll ausreichend.

Wir waren mit Sicherheit nicht das letzte Mal in dieser tollen Urlaubsunterkunft und freuen uns schon auf das nächste Mal.

very beautiful finca

We can only recommend this finca. We were warmly welcomed, even though we arrived late, the fridge was stocked with drinks, milk and sausage. We could harvest our own oranges and lemons every day. We didn't miss anything, the finca is equipped as if you were at home. The outdoor area is a dream. We will come back. Warm greetings from Berlin.

Tolle Finca für mehrere Personen

Bei der Ankauft stand eine Flasche Wasser im Kühlschrank, was für uns sehr praktisch war, da zu diesem Zeitpunkt bereits die Läden geschlossen hatten. Die Finca hat eine super Ausstattung in der Küche, sowie auch in den anderen Räumen. Alles sehr sauber. Zu Porto Cristo fährt man ca. 5min, klasse Strand und Restaurants. Ein Auto ist daher empfehlenswert.

Finca und umgebung

Schöne Unterkunft umgeben von oliven-,orangen-, und zitronenbäume, alles sehr gepflegt, ruhige Gegend, schnell am Strand, es wird hervorragend gesorgt für die Urlaubsgäste, man fühlt sich rundum wohl

Antonio Vilchez is the landlord. He was a contractor and, after retirement with Son Manxé, fulfilled a dream: a house built by himself, surrounded by olive and fruit trees, and a large kitchen garden on a separate plot across the road. Until the completion of their own house, a daughter and family lived here. In 2013, the transformation into a holiday house took place. The entire family helps with: wife, daughters, sons-in-law, grandchildren and a long-time German girlfriend.
