We rent a small, bright and cosy end-terrace house with a wood-burning stove.
It is 65sqm, modern and cosy furnished.
The holiday property is designed for one to four persons.
Two separate bedrooms, a shower room, living room with dining area and integrated kitchen, a guest toilet invite you to stay comfortably.
Additional beds and a child's travel cot can be booked free of charge if required.

Enjoy the Harz Mountains with heart and visit us. The small, cosy mountain village of Hohegeiß, a popular skiing and hiking area, is only 10 km from Braunlage. Here you can enjoy the tranquillity of nature on 120 sqm with a view of the spa gardens. This, together with numerous hiking trails and toboggan runs, is right outside the door.

The nearby Wurmberg with its adventure world, is also real fun for the whole family.
For a quick bite to eat, we recommend the local Grenz snack bar, which is within easy walking distance. The food is rich and delicious.

The house has a terrace and a small, secluded, fenced garden. A garden lounger invites you to sunbathe. Free parking is available directly at the house.
The entire house is equipped with underfloor heating. Dogs are very welcome. Bowls are available. Shopping facilities are available on site (see the guest folder in the house for details of where)
The holiday house is located at the Kurpark. However, we would like to point out that in winter, despite snow clearance services, large amounts of snow may cause obstructions. If there is fresh snow, you may have to push your own car from the house to the car on the property (if we are not on site).

Super liebevolles Ferienhaus
We spent a wonderful holiday in the Harz Mountains. The house is cute and lovingly decorated. Throughout the house, you can tell that the owners have designed it with love. The house may not be the newest (e.g. wooden windows in the basement), but that did not bother us, as the decoration, kitchen, and furniture are in very good condition. We booked the laundry package, simply great! You arrive and the beds are freshly made, towels are ready, and even the dog got an extra paw towel. What more could you ask for! We are happy to come back - that's all we can say.

We were allowed to be a guest at the Ballin family's place. From the first day on, we felt very comfortable. Everything - and much more than a holiday home renter has to do - was fulfilled. The Ballin family is more than helpful, open-minded, and very charming. Incredibly beautiful was the small, nicely decorated Christmas tree and the Christmas decoration that greeted us when entering the house. A delicious bottle of sparkling wine in the fridge and sweets for the kids delighted us very much. It was also great that firewood and firelighters were ready for a nice fire in the fireplace. There was even a sled available for the children.
A real service that we really enjoyed - and have not experienced in this form yet. Great!
The house is very decorative and lovingly furnished. In short - the house is small but nice, clean and completely sufficient for a nice holiday. Of course, one can always find something that one would design differently, maybe modernize, but that is not the purpose of renting a holiday home from our perspective.
Our improvement suggestions are:
Stronger WiFi and TV reception. And if that is ALL that one criticizes, then many things must be really good ;-)
The house is located directly next to a beautiful cultural park - and only a three to four minute walk from the large Harz nature reserve. Endless hiking - walking - jogging, biking, and skiing and cross-country skiing if there is snow right at the doorstep. Ski lift and cross-country ski trails a short distance from the house. The well-being factor for humans and animals is huge.
We would love to come back again. It was very nice!

in 2000, 4 half-timbered houses were built in Hohegeiß. These are now in the second generation. We live in the Lüneburg Heath, but our heart belongs to the Harz. We have 2 dogs ourselves and therefore welcome every dog in our houses.
