A great, quaint, cozy half-timbered house in a quiet location (side street) but still very central. We felt very comfortable; the house is well-equipped, clean, and lovingly arranged. East of Stolberg, hikers pass a special natural monument. Near Hainfeld stands the over 1000-year-old Hunrodeiche. Stolberg Castle, a 13th-century castle located on a hill above the town, has been owned by the German Foundation for Monument Protection since 2002.
