Welcome to the Harz-Auszeit holiday home.
Enjoy the peace and quiet, the fresh air, far away from the hustle and bustle and stress of everyday life - immerse yourself in your time out.
We renovated and modernised our holiday home in spring 2020.
Families with children are very welcome. Our cottage is also ideal for a holiday with a dog
The winter garden is located in the entrance area. It is equipped with rattan furniture and offers space for 4 people. Here you can make yourself comfortable in summer and winter and watch nature
The living room is equipped with a corner couch, which can also be converted into a sofa bed, and an armchair. Everyone will find a place in front of the large flat-screen TV with sound system by the cosy open fire. Furthermore, there is a separate dining table and a bar with bar stools.
In the small kitchen with kitchenette you will find a ceramic cooker with oven, microwave and dishwasher. The fridge with freezer compartment offers enough space for your shopping. In the morning you can enjoy your coffee from the fully automatic coffee machine.
The holiday home is furnished with a bright, friendly bedroom, with double bed and bunk bed for children.
The bathroom is equipped with shower and toilet and offers many storage possibilities. A towel radiator provides cosy warmth.
In the garden you will find various seating options from which you have a beautiful view of the village and the Selketal railway. A barbecue and a fire bowl are available next to the holiday home. Wood is available in the shed and you are welcome to use it.
In addition to a swing, there is also a tree house on the property. This can of course be explored by the little and big adventurers. If you are really brave, you can even spend a night on the sleeping loft of the tree house.

Location and surroundings of object
The small town of Straßberg is a former mining village and awaits its visitors with the "Grube Glasebach" exhibition mine.
From the Straßberg railway station you can take a ride on the steam-powered Selketalbahn to the beautiful Harz Mountains. The Selketalstieg trail, a popular hiking trail, also runs along here.
If you are feeling peckish after a hike or an excursion, our landlady in the "Bergschänke" is just the place for you.

Privacy in the Harz Mountains
The property of Harz Auszeit is wonderfully secluded and offers peace and togetherness.
No wish is left unfulfilled: fireplace, conservatory, large television, modern kitchen, fire pit, grill, bicycle room, a covered illuminated seating area or a bench under trees with a view of the village.
The grounds are lovingly and thoughtfully equipped. Various hiking trails and attractions can be reached within 30 minutes by car (Hexentanzplatz). Everything is in good, clean condition!
We will gladly come back :-)

Time out / Reality
Dear family Severin, we spent a super nice relaxed Easter with you in the quiet beautiful nature property. Walks from the property, cosy evenings by the fireplace and we didn't want for anything! We wish you all the best and will certainly be happy to come back.

Wonderful time out

Great recovery
beautiful location and a nice clean cozy house. Everything is there for a beautiful vacation, we really didn't miss anything. The mountain tavern, the village and the friendly people... just top. You can't relax any better. Thank you Mrs. Severin, we will gladly come back.

Girlfriends' vacation
We were very satisfied with the location and equipment of the house. If you like and need tranquility, this is the place for you! Nothing was missing and the hosts even provided coffee, charcoal, and a gift for the guests.

Holiday in autumn
Hello, we spent a week in the autumn holidays at the house "Auszeit" and this name is more than justified!!!! Peace, peace and peace again!!!! The boys could romp endlessly and we didn't have to constantly watch them!!!! We didn't have to be out and about all the time, just staying there for a day, reading and letting the little ones run around, all no problem!!!! With the wonderful stove, even cold evenings were cozy!!!! Great furnishings and clean!!!! We can only recommend it and if it works out somehow, we would love to come back!!!!!

Traumhafte Unterkunft
Wer Ruhe sucht ist hier genau richtig. Wir hatten hier wunderschöne Tage , die Unterkunft und Grundstück mit Hund und Familie ,sind einfach nur Top, sauber ,sehr gepflegt es hat absolut an nichts gefehlt...

Fernab vom Alltagsstress in ruhiger Atmosphäre, kann man die Seele baumeln lassen.

schönes Häuschen in Alleinlage - toll für Hunde!
Wir haben den Aufenthalt mit unseren beiden Hunden sehr genossen. Die Beiden konnten dank der tollen Alleinlage überall auf dem Grundstück sowie der angrenzenden Umgebung frei herumlaufen.
Die Ausstattung ist modern und alles, was man benötigt, ist vorhanden. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können die Unterkunft wärmstens weiter empfehlen.

Ein schönes Haus in toller Alleinlage
Das Haus ist sauber und sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Das Grundstück ist sehr groß und bietet viel Platz zum entfalten und relaxen.
Da das Grundstück komplett eingezäunt ist konnten sich unsere beiden Hundedamen frei bewegen, was sie sehr genossen haben. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen und freuen uns schon jetzt sehr darauf!

Super erholsame Zeit mitten in der Natur
Tolles Ferienhaus mit super Lage. Einfach mal entspannen, niemanden um sich herum haben und für Kinder gibt es ganz viel zu entdecken auf diesem tollen Grundstück. Alles da was das Herz begehrt, Gratis Holznutzung und Willkommensgeschenke in der Minibar. Die Matratzen waren super bequem und es waren viele Handtücher im Bad vorhanden. Desweiteren sind die elektronischen Geräte alle sehr hochwertig, was uns sehr begeistert hat. Am liebsten saßen wir abends vorm Lagerfeuer und haben Stockbrot gebacken oder einfach nur die Abendstimmung genossen. Einfach alles wunderbar. Sehr schön ist auch das es vor Ort verschiedene Weine und andere Getränke gibt, die man erwerben kann. Einfach das Geld in die Schatztruhe werfen. Und die Vermieter sind auch einfach nur Top! Danke für diese wundervolle Unterkunft.

Wer Ruhe sucht, ist hier genau richtig !
Oft sind die Bilder in den Portalen schöner, als das Objekt dann tatsächlich ist.
Das ist hier definitv NICHTt der Fall !!!
Es ist genauso wunderschön , wie es auf den Fotos wirkt.
Wer Ruhe und Natur sucht , ist hier absolut richtig. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und wollten gar nicht wieder abreisen.

Top Ferienhäuschen!
Das Haus liegt abgelgen und ruhig in der Natur und trotzdem fehlt an nichts. Der Garten ist sehr groß und mit Sitzgelgegenheiten bestens ausgestattet. Die Hütte selbst überrascht ebenfalls mit hervorragneder Ausstattung und Sauberkeit.
Wir haben in der Harz-Auszeit ein tolles langes Wochenende verbringen können. Erholung Pur.
Die Anreise war kontaktlos möglich und sehr unkompliziert.
Wir kommen bestimmt wieder :)

Wunderbare Zeit für Mensch und Tier ?
Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in dem Ferienhaus „Auszeit“! Angereist sind wir mit 4 kleinen Hunden, die das Außengelände sehr geliebt haben. Das Haus an sich war sehr gemütlich und modern eingerichtet, wir würden immer wieder kommen!

Kleine Auszeit
Wir waren 1 Woche in dem schön gelegenem und liebevoll eingerichtetem Ferienhaus und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Beim Frühstück und Abendessen unter Tannen einfach mal die Ruhe und den Ausblick genießen! Der Kontakt mit Frau Severin war nett und komplikationslos.

Wunderbare Auszeit
Wir hatten einen tollen Familienurlaub in diesem wunderbaren Ferienhaus mit viel Garten, Ruhe und einer umfangreichen Ausstattung. Der Kontakt zu den Vermietern war sehr nett und zuverlässig. Man sieht, dass sie das Ferienhaus mit viel Liebe und Bedacht für Ihre Gäste hergerichtet haben. In der Umgebung gibt es viele schöne Ausflugsziele.

Harz Auszeit - Urlaub 2020
