Very well equipped holiday home.
Living room
The bright and spacious living room with kitchenette and dining area has a glass front facing the terrace. From the pull-out sofa bed you can enjoy a TV evening on the large 75″ Smart-TV.
Kitchen
The bright, well-designed eat-in kitchen on the upper floor is modern and fully equipped. From the dining area you have a view of the nearby Netherhead.
Master bedroom
The master bedroom is located on the upper floor of the house. You can expect a modern and comfortable box-spring bed (160×210) for a restful sleep. In addition, a wardrobe offers you enough space to store your belongings. The 32" Smart TV (Smart only) can keep you entertained. Connect your media such as Amazon stick
Children's room
The children's room is located on the (lower) ground floor right next to the entrance and offers space for two children or adults. Two bunk beds (90x210) are fitted into the room. On the 32" Smart-TV (only Smart), the little ones can watch undisturbed. Connect your media such as Amazon stick. For the youngest guests, a baby cot and a high chair are available free of charge.
Bathroom + Guest WC
The spacious bathroom with shower is located on the (lower) ground floor. A hairdryer is available. Opposite the bathroom is an additional WC with urinal
Hallway
On the ground floor there is the entrance to the house and a spacious hallway from which the children's room and the bathrooms lead off. From here you can reach the living area and the master bedroom upstairs via a spiral staircase. Here you will also find extensive information about tourist destinations in the Harz Mountains.
Outdoor area
The spacious outdoor area with lovingly designed garden on the slope offers you the perfect place to relax outdoors. The large sun terrace becomes your second living room in summer. It is a great place to relax. A view into the valley is given. A fixed barbecue and the garden furniture invite you to cosy barbecue evenings. The terrace can also be reached from the outside via a staircase. There are two private parking spaces in front of the house.

Haus Fuchswinkel is situated where fox and hare say goodnight to each other and yet is close enough to all kinds of attractions in the eastern and high Harz mountains
The state-recognised resort of Güntersberge lies in the upper Selketal and has a station on the Selketalbahn, one of the routes of the Harz narrow-gauge railway. The mountain lake, not far from our holiday home, invites you to swim in summer, and hiking trails towards Stiege, Allrode or Friedrichsbrunn run directly in front of the door. The house is in a very quiet location and can be reached via an unpaved nature trail. Pullman City, the suspension bridge and the mines are easy to reach by car, bus or the Selketal railway.

Emergency equipment
The house is monitored with smoke detectors and a Co2 detector. There are several fire extinguishing devices in the house. Also a first aid kit and a tick kit.
Pets are only allowed to a limited extent. The outside steps made of steel grating are only conditionally suitable for dogs, for example. The property is not completely fenced in. The four-legged friends can run around. The fox and the raccoon come by from time to time.

Super Holiday Home
We had a very nice week to feel comfortable and relax. The house matches the description perfectly, is super clean, and well organized. It is very quiet here. The outdoor area is also very well designed, and the terrace invites you to linger. There are many excursion destinations and nice restaurants where you can eat well. The landlord was very nice and explained everything well. We would love to come back.

A dream...
We are enthusiastic supporters of the principle of renting vacation apartments, which is why we always have a separate bag with various utensils with us, based on our own experience. From pots and pans, colander, sharp knife to toilet paper rolls, everything is included. Now we had to realize, by the way for the first time, that we had this bag with us on our trip completely in vain.
This 85 sqm house on two levels is not only well thought out in terms of space and spotlessly clean, no, there really was nothing missing. The kitchen offers EVERYTHING needed in top condition!!! You can see your reflection in the pots, the refrigerator, oven, coffee machine, and dishwasher felt like they were just acquired yesterday. Great windows with pleated blinds that are not off the rack, in the living room floor-to-ceiling windows with access to the large, well-maintained terrace, equipped with electric exterior blinds. But also the 75-inch huge TV on the wall that gives you a cinema feeling is not standard. A beautifully comfortable bed with linens, which additionally include an extra hygienic and washable cover underneath the bedding. Great views from every window, well-maintained bathrooms each with a toilet, small lamps with motion sensors in the house so you don't have to constantly flip the light switches. Downstairs a room with two beds and upstairs the separate bedroom, so parents can find some peace as well. Extra refrigerator in the hallway, patio umbrellas, chairs, seat cushions, grill in impeccable dust, dirt, and spider free condition. Child-friendly, dog-friendly. The owner is extremely hospitable, friendly, uncomplicated, and welcomed us with a gift for guests. So, if you want to have a great time in the Harz Mountains, please book, try it out, and enjoy. Quiet vacation apartment
In a very quiet side street, you will find the modern and tastefully furnished holiday apartment. We were introduced to all the functions of the holiday apartment very well and very nicely by the landlady. It is worth mentioning that the rental property is super clean and also very well maintained in the outdoor area. The equipment corresponded exactly to the description. The kitchen was equipped with everything necessary and worked perfectly. The beds in the main bedroom were very comfortable.
We can highly recommend this holiday apartment and would love to come back again.

Pure tranquility!
Absolutely clean, beautiful, and fully equipped house.
The landlords are super friendly and helpful.
We really enjoyed the peace and quiet. Unfortunately, the weather didn't fully cooperate so we could only use the beautiful terrace occasionally.

After a warm welcome (with delicious homemade cookies), we enjoyed this very well and modernly equipped holiday home. The house, terrace, and garden were all immaculately clean and well cared for. All of this made for a very comfortable stay.
We slept wonderfully, made good use of the well-equipped kitchen, and there is ample information about the area available in the house. The location, surrounded by greenery on the slope, immediately gives a sense of being outdoors. And you didn't need to climb endless hills to get there, which was also nice.

Perfect house to feel good
It was by far the most lovingly furnished and cleanest holiday home we have stayed in in recent years. The very nice landlady welcomed us warmly and we felt comfortable right away. We slept fantastic in the very comfortable beds. The house is beautifully located, so we could go on beautiful hikes and bike tours from there. The house is located on a small quiet street where hardly any cars pass through, making it very relaxing on the beautiful terrace. We would have loved to stay longer and can only recommend this holiday home 100%. We will definitely come back.

Relaxing means feeling good.
We were there for two weeks in June 2023 with two people. A nice vacation home, very clean and very nice landlords. The house is located in a very quiet area with a beautiful garden and terrace. Maybe there is no washing machine, but the terrace has a new outdoor grill.

We stayed there for a week during the Easter holidays with four people and a dog.
A really great holiday home, super clean & very nice landlords. Nothing is missing here! You notice that the landlords take care of everything themselves.
A good starting point for excursions in all directions of the Harz. But also nice for hikes and walks in the Selke-/ and Limbachtal or just to enjoy the sun rays on the terrace.
We felt very comfortable and will gladly come back!

Great accommodation, friendly landlords
We booked the house for a week for two. Booking was done smoothly via eBay classifieds. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The handover on the day of arrival as well as on departure was simple and uncomplicated. The description on the website as well as here corresponds to reality. Nothing is missing. The surroundings are very beautiful and offer many possibilities. Be it a quiet day in the house or a day in the fresh air. Thank you for the modern and pleasant accommodation. Simply beautiful
We felt comfortable all around. It was especially nice that we had a lot of space with 3 people and could even cook together without being in each other's way. The garden and the terrace are to be enjoyed. The only suggestion for improvement is the heating. The opaque control system meant that the bathroom was often cold. It would be nice if it were easy to use: turn up the radiator: warm, turn down the radiator: cold. Two more matching seat covers for the patio chairs would also be nice. Nevertheless, your "Fuchswinkel" has earned every star.

Rest and recreation
We have already had the pleasure of staying in quiet Güntersberge several times. We especially like the quiet location, here you can hike or walk undisturbed for the most part, or simply enjoy nature on the terrace in the evening.

Easter holiday 2022
We felt very comfortable in the fully and modernly equipped house. Due to its central location in the Harz, all relevant sights for us were easily and quickly accessible. Self-catering was problem-free thanks to a supermarket. We were very pleased with the personal and warm welcome and support from the landlord.
