Lovely and quiet spot on the edge of the forests and walking area.

We thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful spot in Geschwenda.
Our dogs also loved it here.
Right from the cottage, there are many walking opportunities and fun outings to various museums and interesting places.
Shopping is just a few minutes away by car.

The cottage is well-equipped and tastefully furnished; we especially enjoyed the conservatory. Everything you need was present.

Patrick and Andrea are very kind and hospitable people who are always ready to help if you need anything. A recommendation for people with dogs who love peace, nature, and culture.
When we come back to Thuringia, we will certainly enjoy staying at the cozy Waldgeflüster again.

Note! You must be able to walk well, as there is a step to the front door.

In Oberhof, a botanical garden of a special kind awaits you. How do I come to Rennsteig?

The Rennsteig runs centrally through the Thuringian Forest and the Thuringian Slate Mountains at an altitude of about 500 to 970 meters. It starts in Eisenach, in the district of Hörschel on the Werra, and ends after 169.29 km in Blankenstein on the Saale. You can reach the Rennsteig by private car via the A 71, A 73, and A 4 highways. If you have rented an apartment or house in the western Rennsteig, then take the A 4 and the federal road B 84 towards Eisenach. On the A 71, you will reach Oberhof.
