An exclusively equipped holiday home for 6-8 people with kitchen for self-catering. The holiday home is located on the edge of the Biosphaere Reserve Vessertal and is perfectly suitable for your holiday needs all year round for all seasons
When the weather is nice, you can relax on the terrace and balcony with garden furniture and barbecue. The house is situated directly on the edge of the forest, in front of a natural lake. Apart from birdcalls and rutting calls of red deer, you will be greeted by a lot of peace and quiet. For all those who are stressed by everyday life, we have a sauna.
The house is non-smoking. For smokers we have a smoking area outside.

These are structured as follows: - Up to 90 days before the start of the trip: 50% - Up to 60 days before the start of the trip: 100% of the rental amount in each case. Forest, water, and hiking
Although the pond is not designated as a swimming pond, one can swim well in it. Provided one is not bothered by fish and algae. Inside the house, it is cool despite the heat. (This is probably also due to the water). The furnishings correspond to the price-performance ratio. Everything is very clean and without defects. Very quiet, almost secluded location. Hiking trail right in front of the entrance gate. I even charged my electric car, and anyone who brings a mobile router also has Wi-Fi. :-)

A true feel-good paradise
If you are looking for a place of tranquility, a spot to relax and unwind, far away from the hustle and bustle of the city, constant phone ringing, and perpetual, forced digital availability without having to forgo a fresh shower or a fully equipped kitchen and your "own four walls," then you are exactly at the right address here.
A property with a lake, a small house surrounded by forest, hiking trails, and (if you look closely) also plenty of animals. For our family, this is, at least for a few days a year, the experience of absolute living dreams, and that is exactly why we can happily and confidently say, we are very happy to come back.
Not only that, the house itself offers everything needed for everyday life, but everything around it also brought us (now for the 2nd time) great joy.
Mr. Liebkopf is an extremely pleasant, friendly, and truly helpful host. Well cared for without being unpleasantly intrusive, one truly feels like a welcomed and well-looked-after guest here.
Also, or rather the fact that there is no internet on site suits us personally very well; if necessary, one only needs to take a few steps and is back to full reception. With a view of the lake, the morning coffee tastes much better, and with fresh eggs from the region and homemade rolls from the baker in the village, breakfast can also be enjoyed outside in the fresh air.
To avoid sinking into a lengthy hymn of praise, I would like to conclude by mentioning that a visit to the Schleusingen Museum is definitely worth it. And if you make a quick stop at Lidl on the way back, you can perfectly end the day with a cozy barbecue evening. ?

Exactly that is what I do to find peace.
Right off the bat, we loved spending our vacation as a family in this house. No internet, no problem! In fact, it's quite an incredible advantage. Even the kids (12 & 17) had no issue with it. Time to relax and, as they say today, to slow down.
The house has everything you need, from the refrigerator to the stove, from the shower to the cozy seating area; inside and outside, there's nothing to miss. About hiking, leisurely walking, grilling together, or watching the sun rise with a good cup of coffee. Here, the body and especially the mind can truly relax.
With the right equipment, one can take excellent animal photos, and if you're lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of a kingfisher.
The landlord was always friendly and reliable. Whether dogs, children, or adults, we all enjoyed every single day to the fullest and made a firm plan to come back next year.
