Whether hiking in the forest and on the nearby Rennsteig, cycling tours on the Ilmtal cycle path, cooling off on hot days in the forest pool Stützerbach and the outdoor pool Hammergrund in Ilmenau, cross-country skiing, downhill skiing and tobogganing in the winter months - everything is possible. You have an ideal starting point for visiting the cities of Erfurt, Weimar, Suhl, as well as many other sights and cultural sites in Thuringia.

The detached holiday home for 4 persons at Sonnenblick is in the cottage settlement "On Rose head" about 1 km from the center of the health resort Stützerbach away and easily accessible by car. The unique location of the house on the south side of the rose head justifies the name of our house. From our terrace you hear the sound of the pines and the rippling stream. You can experience a holiday "in the midst of nature" in a unique tranquility and relaxation

A beautiful week in Stützerbach.
My grandson and I were there for the first time, and my mom for the tenth time in this beautiful holiday home. Nothing was missing. Amazing view and you can do a lot or simply enjoy the peace. Will gladly come back. Greetings from Jarchau Eveline, Noah and Regina W.

Feel good holiday0
We spent very nice days with our dog in the Reiße family's holiday home. We immediately felt at home, as the family is also very nice. The holiday home is in a very idyllic location, is very well maintained, cosy and lovingly furnished. It is simply perfect.
Very beautiful hiking trails start directly from the house. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the place for you. Everything was just right. We would like to thank the Reiße family once again for a wonderful holiday.

Highly recommended
We were very nicely welcomed and had a wonderful holiday week in Stützerbach. We found peace and quiet in this beautifully located holiday home. Nothing was missing and we immediately felt at home. The view is wonderful and we have made many beautiful walks directly from the house. We hope that we can come back next year!

Dream holiday in the Sonnenblick holiday home
From booking to departure a very friendly loving process.
We received a very friendly welcome from the Reiße family.
We arrived with our two small dogs and they were also welcomed with joy.
We had a 5 star holiday in a very lovingly furnished holiday home.
Nothing was missing. Very comfortable beds, kitchen equipment perfect.
Even from the couch you could look into the beautiful forest.
Everything has been thought through down to the last detail, so that as a holidaymaker you just have to feel at home.
The view from the terrace into the forest is gigantic, a feast for the eyes.
The location of the holiday home is fantastic.
Pure tranquillity, pure nature. Relaxation at a high level.
We would like to thank the Reiße family for the super holiday we were able to spend with our two dogs in their holiday home.
We recommend the holiday home 100, no 1000 percent.
Now we can definitely say, once Thuringian Forest always Thuringian Forest in the holiday home Sonnenblick with the Reiße family.

Holiday dream for nature lovers
We spent our annual holiday in October 2021 in this beautiful holiday home for two and with two small dogs. The house is situated on a slope above meadows and a small stream. From the terrace with comfortable furniture you have a wonderful view over the valley. Cattle and horses graze there, but at dusk forest animals also venture out of cover
Many beautiful and well-maintained paths invite you to go hiking and cycling. The Rennsteig is not far away and if you love geocaching, you will find many a cache in the area.
The size of the house is ideal for two people. It is lovingly furnished and equipped with everything you need as a self-caterer. We remember many nice details that are not self-evident. Everything was spotlessly clean and looked so inviting. But the best thing was the landlords themselves. Even the first contact was so friendly, honest and sympathetic that we were just looking forward to our holiday.
You have to be prepared for one small circumstance: There are no shopping facilities in the village itself, not even a proper bakery. We therefore always went to the nearby Ilmenau Kaufland and stocked up there with baked rolls and everything else we needed
All in all, we spent a holiday in the beautiful Thuringian Forest with a "base" that left nothing to be desired. We would like to thank Mr. and Mrs. Reiße very much for the wonderful and relaxing time and send their warmest regards!
