The house has a large terrace and a sunbathing lawn on the sunny side. Garden furniture and a barbecue invite you to relax and socialise. The property has been designed with great attention to detail and offers nature lovers a wonderful place to linger.
Table tennis and table football offer our younger guests fun and games at all times and in all weathers.

The holiday home "zur Mühle" was built in 1994 and has been continuously modernised
On the ground floor, the ceiling beams are in view. In addition to the kitchen and the guest toilet, you will also find the spacious living room and the utility room.
On the upper floor there are 2 bedrooms with 2 single beds and the shower room.

Mark Mill
The mill at Mitling Mark is a single-storey gallery bollard with a codend and louvred sashes. The mill has two grinding gears, two pelde gears, a squeezing roller, double and single classifiers, cleaning machine and elevators.
As early as the 16th century, there was a trestle windmill on the Ems dike in Mitling-Mark where grain was ground. The present Dutchman's mill was built in 1843. in 1928, a diesel engine was installed so that grinding could also take place on windless days. an electric motor was then acquired in 1945. The mill was purchased by the municipality in 1984 and after many years of restoration work, the technical monument was opened to the public in 1990. The mill ensemble includes the miller's house and a bakehouse. In the miller's house, the collection "Grandma's Kitchen" is a reminder of times gone by. More than 800 kitchen items with mainly hand-painted mill motifs on porcelain in "Delft blue" can be admired here.
For some years now, it has also been possible to tie the knot in the mill. Information on this can be obtained from the registry office of the municipality of Westoverledingen.
Opening hours of the mill: 1 April - 31 October, Wednesday to Friday, Sunday - hrs. November - March by appointment.
Papenburg
The canal town in the north of Emsland is known far beyond the region's borders - especially because of the Meyer shipyard. Tens of thousands of "sight-seers" line the dikes along the Ems when the 200-year-old family business sends its large cruise ships on their voyages. The shipyard's visitor centre offers the opportunity to take a look behind the scenes of luxury liner construction.
But Papenburg has even more to offer: the flowering canal and many parks invite you to take a stroll, the "Zeitspeicher" promises a fascinating voyage of discovery through the city's history and the "Alte Werft" forum entices visitors with various events - from theatre classics to groovy rock shows.
Leer
Leer - the "gateway to East Frisia" - attracts its visitors with many faces: the most attractive is certainly that of the charming old town, which invites visitors to stroll around its many cosy corners. The maritime character of the city is also unmistakable and can be seen in many areas - such as the historic harbour. Here, many nostalgic ships together with the "Waage" and the time-honoured town hall form an unmistakable ensemble. The modern harbour face, on the other hand, can be seen on the Nesse, a completely new housing estate with a maritime flair.
The town of Leer is also known and loved for its varied shopping, gastronomy and cultural offerings. Shop to your heart's content in the pedestrian zone or relax during a visit to the museum of local history or the Kulturspeicher.
Weener
Weener - the "green town of the Rheiderland" - is only a stone's throw away from your holiday resort Mitling Mark. You can reach the town comfortably via the Ems with the Friesenfähre ferry.
The settlement, which is over 1000 years old, has retained much of its original charm, especially in the old town and at the Old Harbour. Weener's old town mile is characterised by buildings from the 18th and 19th centuries. Baroque town houses and magnificent villas dominate the image of Norderstraße.
Culture seekers will find worthwhile destinations in the Organeum organ centre and the local history museum.
Ditzum
Winding alleys, the creaking of rigging and the unmistakable smell of garnet and sea air. The quaint fishing village of Ditzum is always worth a visit. Even when the shrimp cutters are out fishing, the visitor is not staring at an empty harbour basin - various traditional cutters and fishing boats are anchored here.
"A trip on the Ems ferry, which runs regularly between Ditzum and Petkum, is a must. The "Fiskereemuseum" is also located directly at the harbour and presents a lot of interesting facts about fishing on the Ems and Dollart.

Great all round
We are actually Baltic Sea holidaymakers, but wanted a change. The best decision ever!
The handover of the keys by means of the safe worked wonderfully and we were welcomed with a personal message. So many little things made us feel at home immediately, for example a kitchen with coffee, tea, oil, etc. on site
The accommodation was spotlessly clean and cosy. We will now return in autumn and winter. The surrounding area offers a lot of nature, peace and quiet and you can quickly get to Papenburg and Leer
The landlords are cordial without being intrusive and we were able to reach someone even at the weekend to help us with the technology
We are regular guests from now on and look forward to coming back soon.

The accommodation corresponds to the offer, the contact with the landlords is friendly and open, the furnishings and equipment are tasteful, bright and well thought out. Very beautiful holiday home on the dike.
We felt very comfortable from the first day. The peaceful location opposite the mill is fantastic. The holiday home is well furnished and very clean. Thanks to the covered table football and table tennis table as well as a PS2, there is also entertainment for the kids on rainy days. Especially in times of Corona, it is a great secluded place in the middle of nature. In the village, you have the opportunity to eat at the ferry house or pick up food after ordering. A good starting point for walks or excursions in all directions.

Ferienhaus Mühle
We felt very comfortable, there was plenty of space, it was very quiet. Ideal for cycling tours. A second sunbed in the garden would be appropriate, there were also 2 pads there.

Pure tranquility
The women's shelter has everything you need. It is cozy and above all very quiet. We had a very nice time and with the car you can quickly reach the mudflats or one of the beautiful ports.
We felt very comfortable and would love to come back.

Beautiful!
Truly a unique location! Directly opposite a beautiful mill.
The house is in top condition and has everything you need. The sunsets on the dike were unforgettable.
