We spent 2 wonderful weeks of summer vacation in an impressive location right by the sea, and we felt at home as soon as we entered the fisherman's cottage. We immediately experienced the wow effect from the wonderful view of the sea bay. The location is unique, and despite the peak summer activity, we felt as if we were in an oasis. The weather was great, and we were able to enjoy our meals outside on the terrace daily while watching the sea during low tide and high tide. The sound of the sea is relaxing. The sunrises and sunsets were indescribable, and the night starry sky fascinated us as well. The location of the cottage is good, with many excursion options in the area, and coastal hiking is possible on-site. Shopping by car is reachable in 15 minutes. We spent an unforgettable vacation at Moulin de la Rive and were able to experience the fishing festival in Locquirec through the nice contact with our landlady. We received beautiful insights into Breton culture, and despite having no knowledge of French, we got along well and experienced ongoing willingness to help and kindness. For us, it was an unforgettable dream vacation.

We enjoyed our two weeks here very much.
The house is equipped with everything you need, and it was incredibly quiet here!
Our son had his own realm upstairs with his own bathroom, which he really appreciated ;-)
The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen is well-equipped, and the two bathrooms are large and clean.
It was delightful to sit outside on the terrace for meals and hear the sea from afar.
Overall, the proximity to the sea was a great plus. One can walk the coastal path to the left or right; to the left, after the harbor, there is a sandy beach, and eventually, one arrives at Plouescat "town"; to the right, it goes on endlessly.
Christian is a very nice host who took good care of us. He speaks German, which sometimes made things easier.
