Description
The completely detached, former hunting lodge with a fantastic panorama is located on a country lane, surrounded by meadows and forests in the beautiful Schneifel. The 800sqm property is completely fenced at a height of 1.50m.
The holiday home has two bedrooms with new, comfortable box-spring beds. The bathroom is equipped with a spacious rain shower and underfloor heating
The cosy living room with fireplace, internet-enabled TV and impressive far-reaching views adjoins the dining area and the open, fully equipped kitchen
Washing machine and dryer are also provided.
In the garden, there is a Weber gas barbecue, a fire bowl, a small pond and a cosy Hollywood swing, which can optionally be converted into a Hollywood lounger swing in a few simple steps.
The lockable garage with electric door and separate entrance offers enough space for car / van and bicycles

The accommodation is the ideal starting point for endless walks and cycling tours through the beautiful hilly landscape of the Eifel. Attractive day trips include Belgium, which is only a stone's throw away, with its High Fens Nature Park. The hiking and cycling trail network of the Schneifel is right on the doorstep, leads through Bleialf and offers circular trails of various lengths and degrees of difficulty.
In winter, there are opportunities for cross-country skiing nearby and a toboggan run with lift for children.

In Vergessenheit gerät häufig, dass die in allen Bereichen des Geschäftslebens geltenden Regeln uneingeschränkt auch auf das Gastgewerbe Anwendung finden. Wohl aus diesem Grunde besteht weit verbreitet die Ansicht, die Reservierung eines Hotelzimmers sei eine Art „unverbindliche Voranfrage“, die zwar den Hotelier verpflichte, vom Gast aber jederzeit sanktionslos rückgängig gemacht werden könne. Um dem in dieser Frage bestehenden Informationsbedürfnis Rechnung zu tragen und etwaige Missverständnisse auszuräumen, sei nachfolgend ein kurzer, unverbindlicher Überblick zur Frage der Nichtinanspruchnahme bzw. Absage reservierter Hotelzimmer gegeben. Der Beherbergungsvertrag ist ein gemischt typischer Vertrag mit Grundelementen aus dem Mietrecht und mindestens eines anderen Vertragstyps, etwa des Kauf- oder Dienstvertrages. Der Vertrag kommt durch zwei übereinstimmend – mündliche oder schriftliche – Willenserklärungen, durch Angebot oder Annahme zustande. Dabei ist die Erklärung, ein Zimmer reservieren zu wollen, nicht etwa als Aufforderung an den Hotelier zu verstehen, von sich aus ein Angebot abzugeben. Vielmehr ist die Erklärung ihrerseits bereits ein Angebot auf Abschluss eines Beherbergungsvertrages. Sobald die Zimmerreservierung vom Beherbergungsbetrieb angenommen ist, liegt ein verbindlicher Beherbergungsvertrag vor. Dies gilt selbst für den Fall, dass die Parteien noch nicht sofort über alle wesentlichen Vertragsbestandteile einer Vereinbarung getroffen haben. Denn die vertragliche Einigung scheitert nicht daran, dass die Parteien bei erkennbarem Willen zur vertraglichen Bindung einzelne Vertragspunkte später bestimmen oder die Bestimmung dem Vertragspartner überlassen. Der wesentliche Inhalt des Beherbergungsvertrages bestimmt sich nach § 535 BGB. Danach hat das Hotel das vereinbarte Hotelzimmer während der Mietzeit zur Verfügung zu stellen. Der Gast hingegen ist zur Entrichtung des vereinbarten Zimmerpreises verpflichtet. Der Beherbergungsvertrag ist nicht anders zu behandeln als jeder andere Vertrag nach dem bürgerlichen Recht. Vorbehaltlich anders lautender Vereinbarungen in Vertrag oder Allgemeinen Geschäftsbedingungen (AGB) kann der Beherbergungsvertrag von keiner Vertragspartei einseitig gelöst werden. Völlig unabhängig von Zeitpunkt oder Gründen der Abbestellung besteht kein Recht auf „Stornierung“ einer Buchung. Das bestellte und vom Hotel bereitgehaltene Hotelzimmer ist entsprechend §535 Satz BGB zu bezahlen. Dies gilt selbst dann, wenn das Hotelzimmer aus in der Sphäre des Gastes liegenden Gründen nicht in Anspruch genommen wird. Die vom Gast trotz Nichtinanspruchnahme zu entrichtende Zahlung wir oftmals unter der Bezeichnung „Stornogebühr“ geführt. Ist durch Vertrag oder Allgemeine Geschäftsbedingungen nichts anderes bestimmt, so handelt es sich bei der „Stornogebühr“ nicht um eine Sanktion für die Abbestellung eines Hotelzimmers. Die „Stornogebühr“ beziffert vielmehr die vertraglich geschuldete Gegenleistung (Zimmerpreis) abzüglich der ersparten hoteleigenen Aufwendungen. Nicht angefallen Betriebskosten – etwa für Bewirtung oder Zurverfügungstellung von Bettwäsche – hat sich der Hotelier gemäß § 552 Satz 2 BGB anspruchsmindernd anrechnen zu lassen. Die Höhe dieser anzurechnenden Einsparungen richtet sich nach den konkreten Umständen des Einzelfalls. Von der Rechtsprechung wird der Wert der ersparten Aufwendungen - bei Übernachtung (FeWo) mit pauschal 10 % - vom Übernachtungspreis regelmäßig als angemessen erachtet. Den Parteien des Beherbergungsvertrages ist es jedoch unbenommen, höhere oder geringere Einsparungen nachzuweisen. Im Übrigen muss sich der Hotelier die Vorteile anrechnen lassen, die er aus einer anderweitigen Vermietung des Zimmers erlangt. Eine grundsätzliche Verpflichtung, bei fehlender Inanspruchnahme des Hotelzimmers einen Ersatzmieter zu suchen, besteht jedoch nicht. Allerdings darf sich der Hotelier nicht treuwidrig gegen die Aufnahme anderer Gäste verschließen. Ausschließlicher Gerichtsstand ist der Betriebsort.

Who is looking for peace and relaxation is exactly right here. Pure nature.
These 4 days felt like weeks to us.
Even our dog felt comfortable right away and enjoyed the great garden.
Everything was spotlessly clean and the service was simply great.

Holiday home to relax
"We escaped with our dog before New Year's Eve and were looking for peace, which worked out great. A cozy holiday home with a wonderful view of nature and an escape-proof garden for our anxious dog, who could romp around in the large garden. Beautiful hikes are possible directly from the front door or in the nearby area. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, and the nut braid that was waiting for us was very delicious during the holidays. Highly recommended for those seeking peace or for a holiday with a dog."

Arrive and feel at ease
When we arrived, the fireplace was already blazing and we immediately felt comfortable. The contact with the landlords was very nice and friendly. The house left nothing to be desired and the garden was completely fenced. It should also be mentioned that the house was very clean. We really enjoyed our holiday together with our 2 dogs and definitely plan to come back.

Beautiful holiday home
We really liked it. Really very clean and nothing was missing. We were there with 2 people and 2 dogs and even towels were provided for the four-legged friends. The view is fantastic and there are plenty of hiking opportunities. The contact with the landlady was very positive and friendly. We also found the nut cake to be very tasty :-) You can let the dogs run freely in the garden and just relax. We can only recommend the house!!

Cozy holiday home in the Eifel region
We go to the Eifel every year and this time we ended up at the Waidblick house.
All we can say about the house is that everything was top-notch. The equipment, cleanliness, we lacked nothing.
Very nice for 2 persons with possibly small children. With a garden, our dogs didn't want to go home anymore.
Just the view in the distance and "our cows".
If you like vacationing in the countryside, this is the right place. You can walk until you drop here, you should be prepared for the hilly landscape.
The neighbors and the neighboring animals were all friendly and open-minded.
The landlady is always trying to fulfill all wishes.

Short vacation to relax
The holiday home is very cozy and tastefully furnished. The equipment is really complete!!! We have never experienced anything like this before. Also high-quality appliances, as well as dishes, etc. It is very clean everywhere, which pleased us very much! We were there with 2 dogs, the garden is a dream for the four-legged friends. And the view as well. That there are farms nearby and also cows on the neighboring property is nothing unusual for a vacation in a rural area. Then you shouldn't go on vacation in the countryside... Therefore, I cannot understand other reviews. The contact with the landlords was very friendly and warm from the beginning, and during the stay, all questions were always answered quickly. The nut braid as a welcome was a dream! We will definitely book again one day and have already made recommendations among friends.

Beautiful holiday home with priceless view
We, 2 adults and 2 dogs, quickly settled into the very well-equipped holiday home and felt comfortable. We lacked nothing and the view from the terrace was the icing on the cake! We were happy about the welcome gift; a very nice gesture. We really enjoyed the daily hikes. It was great that we could start directly from the house. Freestanding?
We had booked from 19.8.23 until 2.9.23.
I (woman) left the accommodation after 2 days. My husband managed to stay until 25.8.
You should write "freestanding" and mention that there are 2 dairy farms in immediate proximity.
When arriving on Saturday evening and Sunday, it was still bearable. On Monday at 6 am, the noise from machines and tractors started. They drove past the house all day or worked on the farm.
The smell of manure was unbearable. But you should ventilate. And also adhere to quiet hours to not disturb anyone. We had no peace. Because farmers do not adhere to them. It's understandable, the work needs to be done. But you don't need that on vacation.
What you need on vacation would have been a dishwasher. Because who wants to wash dishes?
A simple oven would have done its job as well, instead of a microwave-oven-grill combo, where you have to study a 10-page manual to bake a few rolls.
Also, the number of people should be reduced to 2 for the size of the house. And not allow more than a maximum of 3 large dogs. Because it gets tight with more.
All in all, we preferred to spend our vacation at home. Because there is everything we need.

Deshalb sind wir etwas verwundert über Ihre Kritikpunkte. Nach eigenen Angaben verbrachten Sie in Laudesfeld bereits mehrfach Ihren Urlaub und kennen den Ort und die Gegend gut. Dass Sie nun die bäuerliche Umgebung stört, verwundert uns, denn diese war Ihnen bekannt und auch im Text beschrieben. Dass es zur Erntezeit etwas mehr Betrieb in bäuerlichen Dörfern gibt, ist selbstverständlich. Die Nachbarn sind gerne bereit, darauf Rücksicht zu nehmen, wenn Sie etwas stört. Aber weder wir noch die Nachbarn wurden über Ihr Missfallen von Ihnen informiert. Zusammen hätten wir sicher eine Lösung gefunden. Zumal wir vor Ihrer Abreise noch kurz zum Rasenmähroboter telefoniert und Sie die beschriebenen Punkte nicht erwähnt haben.
Die Kritik an der Ausstattung ist nicht nachzuvollziehen, denn diese entspricht exakt der Beschreibung in den Anzeigen. Auch eine ausführliche Dokumentation aller Geräte wurde bisher nie bemängelt.
Wir bedauern, dass Sie Ihren Aufenthalt nicht genießen konnten. Die Rezensionen der anderen Gäste, auch in weiteren Portalen, sprechen für sich und die Qualität des Aufenthaltes.

Very nice holiday home
Great accommodation for 2 and 4 legged friends. Everything is available in this beautiful holiday home including a welcome gift. Thank you again for that.
The furnishings are high quality and everything was very clean and tidy.
The car can stay in the garage and hikes can start directly from the holiday home. Maps are available in the house. The farmers next to the house in the village are also very friendly.

Fantastisch: Fantastic
Beautiful holiday home...very clean, so I was ashamed of every dog hair my sweetie shed, especially during the changing of the seasons. Securely fenced so that we could let our four-legged friends run around in the garden without worry. Very high-quality furnishings! Lovely landlords who fulfil their guests' wishes! We stayed for a week in the Eifel and thoroughly enjoyed it in the holiday home. Great view from the terrace. We were also very happy to have neighbours, the cows. All thumbs up!

Dream vacation
I was able to relax for a week from my stress in this beautiful house. Everything is just right here. It is very clean, nothing is missing and the garden is a dream. Holiday with a view of the hunting ground
For many years now, we have been going on vacation with our dog in the Eifel region, not always easy to find the right holiday home that meets the demands of both the "two-legged" and the four-legged. Quiet secluded location? Unfortunately not!
The house was very clean and ideal for 2 adults with 1 medium sized dog. There was a nut plait on the table to welcome us. A very nice gesture! The equipment was very good and we had (almost) everything we needed.
Besides the directly adjacent cattle farm, an insect screen on the dining room window would have been great and in the bathroom an opaque window screen would have been better to protect oneself from the glances of passing tractors and trucks, which can easily see in over the privacy fence, instead of having to stand in the dark bathroom with the light on in daylight.
The very practical shed, which can be used as a garage, easily fits an SUV including roof box.
The house is completely dog-proof fenced, but is not "in a quiet secluded location surrounded by meadows and woods", but on the edge of the village! The country lane running directly along the property is unfortunately used as an "agricultural highway" between the two large cattle breeding facilities, on which the large/heavy agricultural machines (incl. jeeps and trucks) drive up and down every day at what feels like 15-minute intervals. The FH is located right in between and borders directly on the upper farm. Unfortunately, the agricultural activities are very noisy here. Quietness on the terrace/garden or even with open windows, unfortunately, is not possible! But according to the house rules, the observance of the general quiet times is required?
Nice walks are possible directly from the house.
The first days we had no satellite TV reception. The landlord, according to his own information, neglected to check the function after gardening work had been done. The system was repaired quickly. Unfortunately, a refund was not offered independently, but only smiled at when asked and agreed with incomprehension.
We left three days early for the first time because we missed the peace and quiet here. Conclusion: Very nice cottage, but unfortunately in the wrong place for us. What a pity!

In diesem Fall müssen wir allerdings zu der geäußerten Kritik einiges richtigstellen:
Wie in der Anzeige beschrieben steht das Ferienhaus frei und befindet sich in Ortsrandlage eines kleinen, ruhigen Eifeldörfchens mit ca. 150 Einwohnern. Der nächste Nachbar ist ein Einfamilienhaus in 50m Entfernung, das nächste Bauernhaus in ca. 100m Entfernung. Laudesfeld gehört zur Naherholungsregion Auw bei Prüm. Zu den Betrieben im Ort gehören natürlich auch normalgroße Bauernhöfe, wie in der Eifel üblich. Es gibt weder eine explizite "Großviehzuchtanlage" noch einen "Highway" mit ständigem LKW- oder Traktorenverkehr. Es fährt auf dem Feldweg neben dem Haus ab und an ein Bauer aus der Nachbarschaft zu seiner Stallung, mehr nicht.
Ebenfalls unkorrekt ist die Behauptung, im Badezimmer könnte man sich nicht von außen ungesehen aufhalten. Es wurden extra blickdichte Rollos für alle Fenster, auch für das Badezimmerfenster, installiert, durch die von außen nichts zu sehen ist.
Auf unsere Nachfrage am ersten Tag nach Ihrer Anreise war "alles in bester Ordnung". Auch ein äußerst positiver Kommentar inkl. Fotos und Empfehlung des Hauses wurde von Ihnen auf Facebook gepostet.
Erst am 4. Tag teilten Sie uns nachmittags / abends mit, dass Sie Schwierigkeiten mit dem Empfang einzelner Programme (z.B. Kabel1) hätten, andere hingegen problemlos funktionieren würden. Es erfolgte eine Reparatur am nächsten Tag. Am Abend des gleichen Tages teilten Sie uns mit, dass die Programme wieder nicht funktionieren, Sie hätten allerdings schon selbst an der SAT-Schüssel Hand angelegt und sich probiert. Da wir nicht ausschließen konnten, dass Sie etwas verstellt haben, wurde ein Technikertermin für den übernächsten Tag zugesichert, welcher mit Prüfgerät alles in 15 Minuten erneut reparierte. Es gab also mit gutem Willen maximal 4 Reisetage eingeschränkten Empfang einzelner TV Programme wie Kabel1 u. ä., bei ca. 300 Sendern insgesamt. Es wurde daraufhin im Nachgang von Ihnen mündlich wie schriftlich eine "Entschädigung für einen Mietmangel" für eine Woche (!) verlangt. Darüber waren wir sehr überrascht, denn es gab weder einen ausgesprochenen Mietmangel noch einen TV Ausfall von einer Woche. Zudem wurde zweimal nach Ihrer Mitteilung kurzfristig reagiert. Als Zeichen des guten Willens haben wir Ihnen dafür - wie in diesen Fällen üblich und vom Branchenverband als angemessen erachtet - eine Gutschrift über eine anteilige Reisepreiserstattung erstellt und überwiesen.
Ohne weitere Kommunikation erfolgte von Ihnen in der zweiten Wochen eine vorzeitige Abreise mit einem kurzem Hinweis per SMS.
Kurz danach war Ihr positiver Facebook Kommentar gelöscht und diese Rezension verfasst. Wir bedauern, dass Sie Ihren Urlaub nicht genießen konnten, hätten uns aber eine aufrichtigere und freundlichere Kommunikation gewünscht.
Die Rezensionen der anderen Gäste, auch in weiteren Portalen, sprechen für sich und die Qualität des Aufenthaltes.

Wonderful holiday home
We were guests at Landhaus Waidblick with three people and two dogs and had a wonderful time.
The house is equipped with every comfort, the fireplace invites you to linger on the sofa. In a few minutes you are in Belgium or Luxembourg. Only 1h drive and you can visit great cities in Belgium or Holland. The house is outdoors and surrounded by beautiful fields, where you can walk your dogs for miles.

Beautiful cosy holiday home
Hooray we were the first in 2023. We had a very nice short holiday at Haus Waidblick. Everything was perfect and we didn't miss anything.
We received a very friendly welcome and were immediately impressed by the house. Especially the open fireplace had a cosy warmth and charisma.
So despite the totally rainy weather it was a success and we will gladly come again. We agree with the many other positive comments and recommend it to others.

A wonderful place of tranquillity
Thank you Tamara and Tom for this wonderful place. We had a wonderful time here and were finally able to relax. The house is so lovingly furnished and has everything you need. The kitchen is also super equipped, so cooking and baking was fun. There was nothing missing. We especially enjoyed the evenings by the fireplace and the cosy atmosphere. The garden was ideal for our dogs, because it offered enough space to run around and we could let them run around without worrying, because the property is completely fenced. The morning view into the distance and the possibilities of longer walks enriched our day. Tamara and Tom gave us a warm welcome and showed us everything we needed to know to get started at the cottage. We just felt completely at home and already know we will be back. Relaxation in a beautiful and quiet location in a great cottage
In November, unfortunately with a lot of rainy weather, we were with 2 people in the house Waidblick with admittedly great expectations, because I had gotten to know a large holiday home of the same landlords in the spring and was incredibly enthusiastic there. And now .... all expectations were fulfilled!!! Wonderful beds, great furnishings, great use of the rooms, a great kitchen - we didn't have to miss anything - cosy couch, great fireplace + plenty of wood to beat the lousy weather with a cosy fire and comfortable warmth, nice games available and a really great view of the countryside. Even the car was dry in the garage. Conclusion: here, too, the full score was more or less exceeded. There is nothing to complain about. And the landlords are so interested in the well-being of the guests that you have to look for a needle in a haystack to give them a tip for improvement. You two are great, thank you!!!

Pure relaxation, directly in nature.
We, a hiking enthusiastic couple with two dogs, spent a very relaxing week in the holiday home. The holiday home is fully equipped and furnished with attention to detail. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come again.

Wonderful holiday home in dreamlike surroundings
We spent great days as a couple with a dog in this cosy and beautiful holiday home, which is equipped with everything you could wish for. The contact with the landlady was uncomplicated and very friendly. We felt so comfortable that we would have liked to stay longer. The surroundings are beautiful and great excursions are not far away. We enjoyed sunny autumn days and cosy evenings by the fireplace.
A highly recommended holiday home with a fully secured property, which could be interesting for dog owners.

Pure Eifel idyll!

Idyllic long weekend
It was a wonderfully relaxing few days for us 4 grown-up city dwellers and our 3 dogs. The house is totally beautiful and furnished with great attention to detail. There are even separate paw towels. Wonderful view and hiking possibilities.
