Beautiful vacation

We had a great time in this large and welcoming house for groups and large families. Spacious accommodation with a wonderful view of the mountains in Valle Aurina. Mrs. Esther was very kind and helpful, attentive to all our needs. We also appreciated the presence of the animals, six horses and a very well-behaved and friendly dog named Nico. We hope to come back soon with a nice group of friends. Thank you for everything Esther!

A holiday with a dog is very popular with many guests. A major attraction is Taufers Castle, a former dynastic castle that magically attracts around 70,000 visitors annually. Visit the gate system with the former drawbridges, the beautiful castle garden, the large courtyard with the forge, or the ice cellar. On a guided tour, you will also see 20 lavishly furnished rooms. These include the library, the courtroom, the chapel, the "ghost room", the sickroom, or the knight's hall. Things get eerie in the dungeon and the torture chamber. It also gets interesting in the mining museum in the Kornkasten in Prettau or in the Maranatha (folk art & nativity museum) in Luttach. In Maranatha, you will experience an impressive hike through the fascinating world of nativity scenes. Life-size wooden figures and a great integration into light and sound games make this excursion unique. A trip to the Kasern Nature Park House at the end of the valley is an experience for the whole family. On the ground floor, there is an exhibition on handicrafts and agriculture in the region. The various South Tyrolean nature parks are also presented. In the basement, you will find a special exhibition with a great atmosphere. A highlight in nature are the three Reinbach waterfalls, which can be reached from the Bad Winkel. The Reinbach plunges in three cascades over the rock walls into the depths, creating an impressive natural spectacle. A highlight for young and old is a trip to the Klausberg with its ski arena. Here you will find a ski area that extends from Steinhaus up into the heights. 13 slopes offer 45 kilometers of pistes and snow from Christmas to Easter. Perfect for unforgettable ski descents! Ahrntal is a cozy municipality in South Tyrol in Italy. It includes a section of the Tauferer Ahrntal. Ahrntal stretches over an area of 187.28 km². The Arnthal is the northernmost side valley of South Tyrol. In the north, west, and southwest, the municipality is framed by the Zillertal Alps. A magnificent panorama for a trip to the mountains with a cheap holiday apartment or house from private. The nearest train station is in Bruneck. You can also travel comfortably by car to your accommodation. From Bruneck, the SS621 (Ahrntalstraße) leads via Sand and Taufers to the holiday destination.
