The Unterweger Farm is situated in Hofern near Kiens amidst South Tyrol's vacation area Kronplatz at m above sea level.
The Kronplatz Apartment consist of four rooms with approximately 115 m² and will comfortably accommodate 2 to 8 guests (maximum number of guests 10).
The completely furnished apartment is located at the top floor and includes a spacious living room with kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths and a large east facing balcony.
The three spacious bedrooms are very comfortable and include a desk and closet as well as a double bed each. The largest bedroom is also equipped with a sofa-sleeper, which can be turned into a double bed. The bath is en suite (with toilet, sink and shower).
The large living room/kitchen is fully equipped and offers modern comforts. Solid wood table and chairs, ceramic stove top, oven, sink, dishwasher, and corner seating unit. Also available are electric kettle, coffee maker, cook and dinnerware, as well as dish towels. The furniture is kept in an unobtrusive traditional Alpine cottage style and offers relaxation and the comfort of home. Another sofa-sleeper provides for additional flexibility for larger families or groups. A modern TV with satellite receiver adds to the available amenities.
The spacious and bright bath with windows is very well maintained and is equipped with a bathtub including bath screen, sink, toilet and bidet.
The farm is surrounded by the idyllic Puster Valley landscape, sun drenched mountain pastures and forests, far away from the every day hustle and bustle. Let the impressive panoramic views of the Dolomites, the Dürrenstein, Kronplatz ski area, the Heilig Kreizkofel and far into the Gader Valley mesmerize you.

The Unterweger Farm is situated in Hofern near Kiens amidst South Tyrol's vacation area Kronplatz at m above sea level.
The farm is surrounded by the idyllic Puster Valley landscape, sun drenched mountain pastures and forests, far away from the every day hustle and bustle. Let the impressive panoramic views of the Dolomites, the Dürrenstein, Kronplatz ski area, the Heilig Kreizkofel and far into the Gader Valley mesmerize you.
The Unterweger Farm is located in Hofern, right above Kiens and is easily accessible by car year round. An approximately 3 km long, sloped mountain road takes you from Kiens to our mountain farm.
The villages Hofern, Kiens, Issing, Pfalzen, Bruneck are only 3 to 13 km away. The Kronplatz ski area is located only 17 km away and can be reached by car within about 20 minutes.
The skiing area Kronplatz is only 17 km away and is one of South Tyrol's most modern skiing areas. The Kronplatz is the ideal skiing area for families with children as well as for more experienced skiers and snowboarders. Broad and excellently prepared slopes, its very own snow park for snowboarders, "Croniworld" for children and beginners right at the valley station, as well as the connections to Alta Badia and Sellaronda are a guarantee for a splendid skiing vacation!
Cross country skiers will enjoy the wonderfully prepared cross-country runs in Reischach, at the foot of the Kronplatz, or in the Gsieser Valley, and last but not least, the Biathlon Center in Antholz.
A welcome change of pace is provided by the Christmas market at the rift in Bruneck, as well as the Messner Mountain Museums "RIPA" at castle Bruneck and "CORONES" at the peak of the Kronplatz.
The bus station for the ski shuttle bus and public bus system is located in Hofern, about 3 km distance from the Unterweger farm.
If you are up to longer and more demanding mountain hikes, you can access the Pfunderer ridge way right below our farm, which will take you north to the Tiefrasten hut and on to the Eidechspitze.
Enjoy the cool refreshment of a swim in the lake in Issing at the "Issinger Weiher": Lakeside fun for the entire family!
Should you prefer more exciting adventures, you will find a very special kind of fun, thrills and adventures at the high-wire Outdoor & Funpark Kronaction located at the Issinger Weiher.
The bus station for public bus system is located in Hofern, about 3 km distance from the Unterweger farm.
