The house is beautifully situated in the valley of the Sorpe in the Hoch-Sauerland region and you will immediately feel at home here. The well-known winter sports village of Winterberg is in the immediate vicinity. The group accommodation is ideally suited for families, friendship groups and clubs from 15 to a maximum of 30 people. Peace, space and privacy characterise this tasteful and beautifully situated accommodation. The house is completely detached in the middle of a village with many other half-timbered houses. Niedersorpe is a pleasant place to stay all year round.
Equipment
This half-timbered house already has a lot of character of its own. This impression is created both inside and outside by the leaded glass and the old beams. You have a cosy furnished lounge in fresh colours at your disposal. There is even a professional tap (on request) with cooling. So you can be your own barkeeper during your stay. And of course you can bring your own drinks. There is a tasteful dining and sitting area. The seating area has a glass roof and the garden doors open to the outside, giving you easy access to the various terraces around the half-timbered house. There is also an additional sitting area around a wood burning stove. The dining area is a great place to enjoy a meal with your group, and from here you also have a wonderful view of the large garden. The garden is completely flat, which is quite unusual in the "land of 1000 mountains". In this additional lounge there are various lounge benches as well as a large flat screen TV. There are free WiFi internet connections everywhere. On the ground floor there is one and a ladies toilet. The generously sized kitchen is fully-professionally equipped with a stove, large oven, dishwasher, microwave, various fridges, etc. Here you will find all the utensils you need to prepare a delicious meal for your group. There is also the possibility to use a catering service. On the ground floor there are two bedrooms, which are handicapped accessible (like a spacious shower). On the first floor there are 9 bedrooms, each with its own modern shower, toilet and washbasin. Next to the accommodation there is a large beer garden on the south-western side with terrace and various garden furniture. Parking is possible on the own terrain. The little ones can also have a great time in and around the house. There are various play facilities for children and especially outdoors there is plenty of space. In the half-timbered barn next to the half-timbered house there is also a room with a table tennis table and a table football table, while in the garden there is other play equipment and a trampoline. In short, you can really enjoy yourself here with your group in all seasons.
The surroundings
The cosy village of Niedersorpe lies in the heart of the Hoch-Sauerland region. The well-known winter sports resort of Winterberg is only 10 km away and the village of Schmallenberg is 5 km away. The surrounding area is wooded and hilly up to an altitude of 850 m and interspersed with many streams and small lakes. There are several ski slopes in the immediate vicinity, which can be reached in about 10 minutes. The longest ski slope is the one of Bodefeld-Hunau with a length of 1326 m. From mid-December to the end of March, the temperature often drops below freezing and winter sports can therefore be enjoyed to the full. Whether it snows or not. Because on the ski slopes in Schmallenberg and Willingen as well as in Winterberg various snow cannons are available. Skiing and snowboarding is therefore possible at any time. But in other seasons it is also fantastic in the Sauerland region. For the hikers and the Nordic-Walkng fans there are various routes starting directly from the village. By the way, the famous "Rothaarsteig" route leads directly along the group accommodation. Many leisure attractions can be found in the immediate vicinity. The Niedersorper Quellenschwimmbad is open from June to September. In Bad Fredeberg you can play disc golf, which is very suitable for groups, and there you can also swim in the covered Sauerland swimming pool. On the golf course of Sellinghausen (18 holes), which can be reached easily by foot, weekly and weekend courses for beginners and advanced players are organized. Further leisure possibilities are the miniature golf courses in Bodefeld and Bad Fredeburg and for the water sportsman the Hennesee which is only 20 minutes away. In Neuastenberg there is a go-kart track and furthermore there are all kinds of museums and galleries to visit. With these many leisure and entertainment options and much more, your stay in Niedersorpe can be a truly unforgettable time.

Sorpehaus Hiking Weekend
We were all very pleasantly surprised by the lovingly prepared inn. The furnishings were perfect and the rooms tasteful and modern. Ideal for groups who enjoy socialising and nature. We wanted for nothing. Thank you Jos.
