Our cozily furnished house is located in a quiet cul-de-sac in Xanten and yet only a few minutes’ walk from the historic marketplace. Cafés, restaurants, small shops as well as the cathedral, spa gardens, and old town are easily reachable on foot. The central and at the same time quiet location makes the accommodation an ideal starting point to discover Xanten and the Lower Rhine.

The Xanten Cathedral is around 800 meters away, and the Archaeological Park Xanten is about 1 kilometer away. Shopping facilities, a supermarket, are already available after about 150 meters. Beautiful holiday home

We spent two very nice weeks in the holiday home. The holiday home is well-equipped and lovingly furnished and decorated. We went on many bike tours and visited Xanten and some other cities and castles.

Super cozy and beautifully furnished holiday home

The holiday home is very cozy and the garden is very beautiful. We only missed a coffee table or a small side table to set down glasses or cups while watching TV. Otherwise, everything was available. Very good Wi-Fi connection. The holiday home has a good location. The Xantener South and North Seas are quickly reachable. Our bikes found space in the locked garage. There are many cycling paths there. Just great. In the beds, one could sleep very well although we have back issues. The holiday home is simply recommended. The week went by too quickly. Anyone who wants to relax is in the best hands here. Many tips from the landlord were received that were worth it.

Summer vacation in Wardt/Xanten

We, as a family of four, felt absolutely comfortable in the holiday home. For us, it was a perfect fit. Cycling, sailing across the Rhine on the ferry, swimming, exploring small towns, learning in the Roman Park, enjoying nature, relaxing in the garden. In Oberhausen, visiting the Centro. Or even going to the neighboring country. The area is really beautiful, and especially with children, you can do a lot of great things. Since it's very flat, large bike tours were also no problem. Rees and Wesel, Kalkar and Xanten are really very easy to reach. For bird lovers, this is a top area, with endless photo opportunities. We were more than pleased with the surroundings and everything in the house was top-notch. We gladly award the deserved full points. Best regards from Kassel.

Very cute holiday home for family vacation

We felt very comfortable. There were four of us in total with two children (4 and 7). The house is well equipped, clean, and in a quiet location. However, there are plenty of things to do in the immediate surroundings. We will definitely not have been there for the last time. The Weiß family provided us with a lot of information and tips for activities and restaurants in advance. Thank you very much. We had a great time.

Pure relaxation.

"A gem in a great environment. Small but fine. Everything you need is there. Quiet and yet everything you need is quickly accessible. We were there with our dog for only 3 days but will definitely come back for longer. There is so much to see that cannot be achieved in a short time. Absolutely recommendable. 5 stars."

Simply Super!!! Five stars!!!

My wife and I had a short but very relaxing weekend in the accommodation. We have already rented many holiday homes but none of them was as cosily furnished as this one. The smallest details were lovingly decorated. A very quiet location not far from the Xanten North and South Seas. A beautiful little garden with barbecue. Simply everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The landlady Mrs. Weiß was very nice and available at all times. I can recommend it to everyone, and we will definitely book the holiday home again
