.Central & quiet – cozy holiday home with 2 terraces
Arrive, feel good, and immediately enjoy your vacation. Our cozy holiday home is centrally located and yet wonderfully quiet in the officially recognized health resort Xanten on the Lower Rhine. Two terraces invite you to have breakfast, sunbathe, and sit together comfortably. A carport directly at the house as well as several parking spaces ensure an uncomplicated arrival. The modern, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher also makes longer stays pleasant. In the morning, enjoy your cappuccino, latte macchiato, or another coffee specialty from the fully automatic coffee machine on the sunny terrace and plan your vacation day in a relaxed way.
The vacation begins right at your doorstep. Spa park and horse pasture as well as the city center, Xanten Cathedral, Archaeological Park, Rhine, Xanten South Sea, restaurants, cozy beer gardens, and shopping opportunities are easily accessible. In the spa park, the graduation tower and Kneipp water basin invite you to relax.
For excursions, our four bicycles and a bicycle trailer for one or two small children are available to you. Discover the wonderful cycle paths through the Lower Rhine landscape, along the Rhine and all the way to Holland, or take the ferry across. Depending on the season, the Xanten South Sea offers a sandy beach, mini golf, pedal boating, sailing, surfing, and beautiful spots for picnicking and relaxing.
There is also much to experience outside of summer. Autumn bike tours, cozy restaurants by the water, and a festive Xanten Christmas market with charming huts make Xanten attractive at any time of year. Families enjoy trips to Irrland or Wunderland Kalkar. Moyland Castle, Kamp Abbey, Kevelaer, Marienbaum, and many other destinations are also easily reachable. The Ruhr area and its fascinating industrial culture as well as the Netherlands are also suitable for day trips.
For us, Xanten is the most beautiful place in Germany for a vacation. The beautiful natural and cultural landscape on the Lower Rhine offers so many possibilities that even with several weeks’ stay, there is always something new to discover.

The historic market square is within easy walking distance. It is about 800 meters to Xanten Cathedral, and the Archaeological Park Xanten is about 1 kilometer away. Shopping facilities, a supermarket, can be found after about 150 meters. The location combines tranquility with short distances to the main sights and daily necessities.

Beautiful holiday home
We spent two very nice weeks in the holiday home. The holiday home is well-equipped and lovingly furnished and decorated. We went on many bike tours and visited Xanten and some other cities and castles.

Super cozy and beautifully furnished holiday home
The holiday home is very cozy and the garden is very beautiful. We only missed a coffee table or a small side table to set down glasses or cups while watching TV. Otherwise, everything was available. Very good Wi-Fi connection. The holiday home has a good location. The Xantener South and North Seas are quickly reachable. Our bikes found space in the locked garage. There are many cycling paths there. Just great. In the beds, one could sleep very well although we have back issues. The holiday home is simply recommended. The week went by too quickly. Anyone who wants to relax is in the best hands here. Many tips from the landlord were received that were worth it.

Summer vacation in Wardt/Xanten
We, as a family of four, felt absolutely comfortable in the holiday home. For us, it was a perfect fit. Cycling, sailing across the Rhine on the ferry, swimming, exploring small towns, learning in the Roman Park, enjoying nature, relaxing in the garden. In Oberhausen, visiting the Centro. Or even going to the neighboring country. The area is really beautiful, and especially with children, you can do a lot of great things. Since it's very flat, large bike tours were also no problem. Rees and Wesel, Kalkar and Xanten are really very easy to reach. For bird lovers, this is a top area, with endless photo opportunities. We were more than pleased with the surroundings and everything in the house was top-notch. We gladly award the deserved full points. Best regards from Kassel.

wir haben uns in Ihrer Unterkunft sehr wohl gefühlt und uns super erhole können.Vielen Dank dafür.
Für uns war es eine absolute Punktlandung. Fahrradfahren, mit der Fähre über den Rhein schippern, Schwimmen, kleinen Städtchen erkunden, Bildung im Römerpark, Natur genießen, im Garten entspannen. In Oberhausen mal durchs Centro. Oder auch mal ins Nachbarland.
Die Gegend ist wirklich wunderschön und gerade mit Kindern kann man eine Menge toller Dinge unternehmen.
Da es schön flach ist waren auch große Radtouren kein Problem. Rees und Wesel , Kalkar und Xanten sowieso sind wirklich sehr gut zu erreichen. Für Vogelliebhaber ist das eine Topgegend, Fotomotive ohne Ende.
Wir waren mehr als angetan von der Umgebung und in dem Haus war alles tiptop.
Wir vergeben sehr gern die verdienten vollen Punkte.
