Description

Welcome to our Eifel holiday flat I I in the Volcanic Eifel in Ulmen ( Fronwiese 12 ) centrally located between Daun + Cochem Mosel. Our house is located on the southern outskirts of Ulmen on a 1500 sqm property in a quiet residential area not far from meadows, fields and forests. Each apartment has its own entrance. Parking space on the property. Our lovingly landscaped garden and the large lawn with the cosy seating and barbecue area, and the garden house with veranda invite you to linger. In a few minutes you can reach the Ulmener Maar with the castle ruins. After about 150 metres you are in the open countryside, and have a wonderful view of the Eifel landscape, all the way to the Vulcano information platform in Steineberg near Daun. You too can experience the lush green nature of the Volcanic Eifel
The Eifel volcano cycle route and the Ender hiking trail pass by the house only a few metres away.

Numerous hiking and cycling trails (Maare-Mosel Cycle Path, Eifel Volcano Cycle Route) invite you to explore the volcanic Eifel with its maars (Schalkenmehren, Daun, Gillenfeld - Pulvermaar, Meerfeld, Immerath, Manderscheid). In the immediate vicinity you will find worthwhile excursion destinations, the Laacher See near Mayen, Eltz Castle, Monreal, Manderscheid with its castles, the Nürburgring, and much more. The zoos in Daun (with summer toboggan run), Klotten and Gerolstein - Kasselburg are particularly attractive for young and old. How about a romantic boat trip on the Moselle from Cochem to the Sleeping Beauty of the Moselle in Beilstein. The spa town of Bad Bertrich is home to Germany's only Glauber salt spa

Ulmen starts like a holiday, recreation and nature smile from the name, but also be active. Depending on your wishes, this is possible with us. Ulmen is centrally located between Manderscheid, Daun with its Maaren, Gerolstein, Cochem on the Moselle, Mayen in the East Eifel ( Laacher See ) the Ahr and the Nürburgring. You decide whether you want to explore the beautiful landscape of the Eifel, Moselle and Ahr by bike, by car or on foot. Our town has about 3000 inhabitants. You will find everything from A for Aldi to S for Schmitz, including Netto, Lidl, Edeka and Norma. There is also a petrol station in town. We have a real village butcher's shop with home-made sausage and ham, and a baker within walking distance to buy fresh bread rolls in the morning. You don't need to worry about medical care either. 2 general practitioners, 2 dentists and a gynaecologist are in the village. 2 pharmacies provide the prescribed medicine.
