We were on Lanzarote for the first time as a couple and found a spotlessly clean and very cosy flat in a quiet location in Tahiche at Casa del Sol

The equipment is far above average, especially the kitchen with a very large fridge with freezer compartment, oven, toaster and really everything else you need there, up to spices. In the living/dining area, we made ourselves comfortable on the large settee with glass table, and we often took our meals at a bright dining room table. For cooler mornings, there is a small mobile gas stove that quickly provides relief.
The almost completely secluded, very large terrace in the garden with a giant agave and cacti offers tables and seating, as well as loungers.

In the more than 3 weeks on the island, we were able to visit the many interesting and worth seeing places and attractions from here, whereby these were all quick and easy to reach with the rental car due to the central location of Tahiche. It is also only a few kilometres to the beautiful Jabillo beach in Costa Teguise and only a few minutes to the nearby golf course.

We found it very pleasant that we had a friendly, attentive and very helpful landlord in Thomas Stockert, who lives on the first floor. He gave us a lot of information about restaurants and even provided us with his golf equipment!

This environment was the framework for a very varied and beautiful holiday on this unique island.

Top house with great location

The house was super great, we felt very comfortable. Great location, great equipment, very spacious, nicely furnished. The only drawback is perhaps the noise level, but we pensioners are perhaps a little sensitive. It's because of the Spanish building style to do without separating joints and sound insulation. All in all, however, this is a very recommendable holiday home, which with the swimming pool and the sun loungers
the swimming pool and the sun loungers combined with the beautiful view make it an attractive place to spend a day at the house every now and then. We would rent it again at any time. The handling with the owner was also flawless and uncomplicated.

An oasis of calm

We stayed in this beautiful house for 14 days in September. We came home very well rested and relaxed. We didn't miss anything there, the house is very well equipped, especially with high-quality furniture and it is very clean everywhere. The mattresses in the master bedroom are a dream, we have rarely slept so well in a holiday home. The manager is also on site and always there for you if you have any questions or problems. We had very good contact with the landlady right from the start, and you notice right away how much love for detail she has put into the house

The pool had pleasant 27/28 degrees and was a wonderful refreshment at daytime temperatures around 30 degrees with the typical Canarian wind. Even at night, the nights were balmy at 23 degrees.

We spent a few days just sitting there on the beautifully planted terrace because it was just so nice and quiet. Various beaches are easily accessible by car in a few minutes, as are well-stocked supermarkets.

In the beautiful marina Rubicón there are many delicious restaurants

The island offers so many beautiful sights. It is definitely worth exploring the island by car.

A charcoal grill, large fridge with freezer compartment (incl. cooling batteries), cool bag, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, parasol, fans, mosquito screens on the windows, comfortable loungers and cushions, well-equipped kitchen with Tassimo coffee machine, spices, etc.. Everything the heart desired was there.

Even 2 masks and a hand sanitizer were on the table on arrival including delicious Lanzarote wine. Soap and hairdryer were in the bathroom, enough towels and beach towels were available

In short, everything was just right for us. This was our second stay on Lanzarote and definitely not our last, then we would be happy to stay again at Casa las Palmeras :-)
