Country house in a quiet location

The house is located in a very quiet and beautiful, exposed location. The furnishings are comfortable, the kitchen is super generously equipped, and everything is spotlessly clean. If you like to set up a cozy home and cook for yourself, this is the right place. The house offers enough space for two people, but it may get a bit cramped with more people inside in bad weather.

Natural paradise with tasteful apartment and great swimming pond

Great nature lovers, for many years we were looking for a vacation rental in Italy, not too far from the north, away from regions where there are more foreigners than Italians in the summer (Tuscany, etc), near an old town but still located in nature and with a beautiful pool.

These were too many search criteria and we were always somewhat disappointed... until we discovered Casa Mugiot and its idyllic location.

The biggest problem now is the choice between the 2 apartments: Cantina or Bellavista.

- The Cantina has one bedroom (and also a good sofa bed where our son has his own "private corner"). The several large windows open onto a wonderful terrace under the wisteria and grapevines.
- The Bellavista has 2 bedrooms, a spacious terrace, and offers a magnificent view over the Alta Langa hills.

Both apartments have been restored with passion and love, and the old materials and furniture provide an authentic ambiance: for the Cantina, old terracotta floor tiles and a vaulted ceiling, and for the Bellavista, beautiful solid wood flooring and warm colors throughout. Both apartments have a nice kitchen, bathroom, and cozy living and sleeping areas.

The region leaves nothing to be desired: the quiet town of Alba with its many ice cream shops (gelaterias), wine cellars (cantinas), and great trattorias is only 20 minutes away! The major city of Turin, with its historic center and world-famous museums, can be reached in just about one hour.

While it is unbearably hot throughout Europe this year, in this hidden valley you can enjoy a pleasant warmth and a well-insulated house (the exterior walls are 60 cm thick).

Last but not least: the enormous flower garden has a swimming pond ?‍♀️.
A natural pool without chemicals, without chlorine, just water that is purified by the plants... ideal for the skin (no allergies) and a real dream for children and nature lovers.

Once again, Alta Langhe

We were only at Casa Mugiot for the fifth time. The location is beautifully secluded, the Bellavista apartment lives up to its name: a beautiful view from the balcony. The apartment has everything you need if you're not into fancy and high-tech. The beds are comfortable, you can cook great in the kitchen, and the furnishing is characterized by personal style, not your typical hotel.
The location is very suitable for exploring the Alta Langhe, and it's not far to Alba either. The access road is not really suitable for a low Porsche, but it works.
We feel very comfortable there (with a dog), it has become like our second Italian home.
