Description
The old natural stone house has been lovingly renovated by us while maintaining the exterior aspect. The secluded location at the end of a road guarantees a quiet stay in an idyllic setting, with wide views of the Alta Langha.
The house was built on a saddle in a side valley of the Belbo and is sunny all day. The surrounding area is characterised by forest with interspersed vineyards. We have also placed special emphasis on the design of the garden, which invites you to linger with numerous rose, lavender and rosemary bushes as well as other flowering plants, a large pergola and a secluded panoramic terrace.
A pond, which was created by us according to ecological criteria, also offers the opportunity to swim, in addition to the many opportunities for observation.
The Bellavista flat is on the upper floor. Due to the hillside location, you enter the flat via the covered, south-east facing terrace.
From the large living and kitchen area you reach the two bedrooms, each with double beds (160 and 140 cm respectively), whose large window elements face the balcony, as well as the bathroom, which faces the rear side of the house.
While the covered terrace invites you to linger in almost any weather, there is an additional terrace with a pergola a few metres in front of the entrance.
Solar collectors provide hot water, and a gas boiler takes over when the sun is not shining.
In cooler weather you can use a wood-burning stove, the firewood is available.
The nearest shopping facilities are in Manera, a district of Benevello (2.5 km). Here you will find a very good bakery, butcher's shop and an alimentari.
In about a quarter of an hour you can reach Alba with its lively medieval old town. In autumn (October), the famous truffle fair with numerous culinary offers takes place here.
Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays are market day in Alba, and on Saturdays the entire pedestrian area is bustling with stalls.
The Langha is ideal for long hikes with beautiful views; hiking guides are available in the house. Cyclists are attracted by the landscape with challenging routes.
Beautiful towns in the surrounding area await discovery, such as Saluzzo, Cuneo, Ceva, Mondovi or Asti. From Alba there are hourly direct train connections to Turin with its baroque city centre, the largest in Europe, and important museums.
The world-famous wine-growing areas of Barolo and Barbaresco are in the immediate vicinity, and a visit to such picturesque villages as Monforte, Cherasco, La Morra or Neive is well worthwhile.
Valuable tips, also for wine lovers, are provided by Signora Manzone, who will look after you in perfect German.

PEACE - RELAXATION - WELL-BEING
We have been coming to this beautiful place for several years now. This wonderfully located holiday home is exactly as shown in the pictures and equipped with everything you need. Here you will find peace and tranquility. Many different seating areas invite you to linger. It is a wonderful holiday home, also suitable for dogs. Especially well suited for people who love peace and quiet.

Paradise in Piedmont
We have been coming to this beautiful house for over 10 years. All the apartments have their own charm, are very comfortably furnished and each have a great terrace. You can cook well, the necessary kitchen utensils are available. Above all, the area around the house is fantastically beautiful and well-maintained. There are several seating areas that not only offer a great view of the surroundings, but also peace for reading, relaxing or dreaming. A beautiful natural pond invites you to swim, under the watchful eye of numerous frogs, which is also very attractive for children. If it gets a bit cool in the evening, there is always the option to light the cozy wood stoves.
Shopping or restaurants can only be reached by car, but you can find many very nice bars and hiking opportunities in the surrounding villages of the Langhe. If there is ever a problem, the exceptionally nice landlords are always available and very helpful.
For us, this place is a little paradise and we will definitely come back.

Once again, Alta Langhe
We were only at Casa Mugiot for the fifth time. The location is beautifully secluded, the Bellavista apartment lives up to its name: a beautiful view from the balcony. The apartment has everything you need if you're not into fancy and high-tech. The beds are comfortable, you can cook great in the kitchen, and the furnishing is characterized by personal style, not your typical hotel.
The location is very suitable for exploring the Alta Langhe, and it's not far to Alba either. The access road is not really suitable for a low Porsche, but it works.
We feel very comfortable there (with a dog), it has become like our second Italian home.
