We had a nice week in the beach shell. With better weather, it would have been perfect. The house is optimal and very beautiful. Everything you need is available. Beach house with beach tent

We had a wonderful time in the beach shelter. A house to feel comfortable in, everything was great, equipment, cleanliness, and the location. Even our dog was welcomed with a treat.
The fenced garden was perfect.

Top Familienurlaub mit Hund

Very beautiful and tastefully decorated house. Everything one needs is available and very clean. With 2 adults, three children, and a dog, we enjoyed a week, despite not so good weather. In the park, there are many activities for children and a playground just around the corner. The garden is completely fenced. The delivery service for bread and food in the park is also recommended. This way, you don't necessarily have to go out in stormy and rainy weather, you can simply order via the app! We will gladly come again.

The lovingly furnished house exceeded our expectations. It is very comfortable and tastefully equipped. We were especially enthusiastic about the padded garden chairs and two armchairs on the terrace, as well as the hammock. Simply awesome! Wonderful vacation on the Dutch coast in the "Beach Shelter"

A heartfelt thank you to the host family Ott! As a married couple with a dog, we spent four days as guests at the Strandmuschel in January 2019. The house is beautifully decorated. We immediately felt at home. Fully equipped kitchen, very cozy living room with everything you need, great bedrooms with very comfortable beds! And even in bad weather - you can enjoy your own Finnish sauna and whirlpool! 5 stars are hardly sufficient here! In the garden, there is plenty of space to play and linger. We and our four-legged friend felt very comfortable here! The location is great! In 5 minutes by car, you reach the beach, and the shopping center is also about 5 minutes away. Mr. Ott was always available by phone for questions and supported us with tips. This is how we found a great little restaurant in Den Oever, Haventerrein4, where you can either buy fish or eat it prepared on the spot. Name: "Viscentre 't Wad" We had very delicious fish platters here! We can only rave about our vacation and will definitely come back! So, we highly recommend it! Best regards and heartfelt thanks!

Toller Urlaub

The beach hut is the best vacation home we have ever stayed in. It is lovingly furnished and very well equipped. Clothespins, Tupperware, beach cart, and hammock, everything is there! Each bedroom has a television with a complete variety of German channels. Also great is the fenced, densely planted garden, so even the dog can enjoy his vacation to the fullest. The contact with the landlords is incredibly nice and they are very committed to making the guests have a great holiday. Our conclusion: Definitely do it and anytime again! ✨

Everything for a relaxing holiday!

We have been to Holland on the North Sea for our summer vacation several times, but so far only in South Holland. This year, for the first time, we were six of us for two weeks in Julianadorp, North Holland, and it was the nicest accommodation of all so far.

The complex, the Landal Beach Resort Ooghduyne, is loosely built, surrounded by lots of greenery, has a golf course, a mini-golf course, and an indoor pool. Just take a look here:

The house "Strandmuschel" is spacious and in very good, functional condition. The property is relatively large and, very importantly, surrounded by high vegetation all around. This guarantees a shady spot at all times. The interior is modern and lovingly furnished. All details can also be found on the internet.

The beach is within walking distance or you can rent a bike at the reception in the indoor pool. Alternatively, there are other accesses via the relatively high, beautiful dunes along the coast, each with parking lots nearby.

The landlords, Ralph & Katha Ott, are very nice and the entire process of booking, payment, and important information worked flawlessly and reliably.

All in all, we enjoyed our stay very much and felt well-rested. We can definitely give an unreserved recommendation for this.

Autumn vacation

We really liked the beach shelter, just like the seagulls' nest. Nothing is missing, the lovely furnishings and decorations are very nice. Our dog could roam freely thanks to the complete fencing. Every question to the nice Ott family was quickly and helpfully answered. Conclusion: Couldn't be better! We have already booked for the third time.
