The house is only suitable for owners of small dogs.
The stairs to the upper floor are steep and smooth, so caution is advised.

Dog vacation

Holiday with dog

We found the beautiful holiday home of the Toewe family at short notice and booked it immediately. Our senior dog should have some fun at the sea once more.

We had a really good time, even during the thunderstorm with heavy rain and strong winds, the holiday home was cozy.

The house is as described, clean, well-equipped, and has a cozy terrace.

We would definitely book again, hopefully for a few days longer next time.

Relaxed week in a pleasant atmosphere.

A little house that allows you to arrive and invites you to feel comfortable from the first moment.
Personally and tastefully furnished, and equipped with everything necessary. A beautiful fireplace and an infrared sauna complement the high-quality equipment.
In less than 3 minutes by car you can reach the parking lot near the dunes, from there you can reach the kilometer-long beach in a few minutes.
All these great conditions for my dog ​​and me to be able to spend relaxing days. And the pleasant and friendly contact with the Toewe family in advance has increased the anticipation.

Could be better

We had actually booked De Keizerskroon 211, but due to an accidental double booking, we were offered to stay in this house and as compensation, to stay two days longer for free, which is very nice. However, this house is quite small for three people on the ground floor and is not suitable for older people or those with disabilities as the staircase is quite steep. The fencing is ideal for dogs, but you can't just quickly walk them here because there is no grass or lawn anywhere. You either have to walk further or drive by car. Unfortunately, there was no toilet paper available, so we had to go to the supermarket to get some, which is not ideal when you arrive Saturday evening. Otherwise, we were satisfied.

A beautiful little vacation home, nicely and harmoniously furnished. There is room for 5 people. A fenced garden with 2 garden loungers, garden table and chairs. There are also 2 Dutch bikes with which you can bike to the beach and through the dunes. The landlords are very nice and can be reached by phone.

Super tolles Haus

We stayed at Yperhof 19 for the second time, everything was excellent. Absolutely clean, everything you need is available.

You come in and can immediately switch off. It takes just under 20 minutes to walk to the beach and you are also very quickly in the center.

There is always someone available to answer questions, no matter what time it is. Thank you!

Great for dogs, everything completely fenced. Unfortunately, we were without a dog this year, but maybe next year.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would gladly do so at this point. Starting from the warm and always quick contact when contacting the landlord, to the house itself, which leaves nothing to be desired in terms of location, equipment, and value for money, to the possibility of spending relaxed days there as a multi-dog owner (securely fenced property) - everything is excellent. The Yperhof, where the house is located, is a quiet, well-kept holiday home complex in Julianadorp aan Zee, in close proximity to the beach. Good dining options are also within walking distance, and shopping facilities in Julianadorp can be reached by car in a few minutes. In short, the house is a perfect place as a starting point for a relaxing holiday with or without four-legged companions. I would love to come back with my dogs!

Toller Urlaub

Hello Toewe family,

We, as a family of four with a dog, had a great time in your holiday home. The house is furnished very cozy. When entering your properties, we have an immediate sense of relaxed holiday atmosphere. The house is equipped with everything, oven (rather rare in Holland), dishwasher, 2 bicycles, nothing is missing. The property is completely fenced, so our Labrador could also be alone in the garden. We always rode our bikes to the beach, a lovely ride along the canal. We are definitely repeat offenders, no matter in which of their houses.

One of the most beautiful holiday apartments we've ever had! Super nicely furnished, comfortable beds, original decorations. Ideally located, you quickly reach the beach and just as quickly get to the supermarket or pizzeria! Communication with the landlords was uncomplicated, and we could even order a towel package spontaneously shortly before arrival. Very nice welcome greeting upon arrival: a bag with little things for daily use. We felt VERY comfortable and can recommend this apartment 100%!

Toller Urlaub

Dear Töwe Family,

We went on holiday to Holland for the first time and have become true fans. Luckily, we came across this fantastic vacation home. It is rare to find vacation homes so lovingly equipped and furnished. All the information on the website is accurate. From the peaceful Yperhof holiday home settlement, you can easily reach both the beach and shopping opportunities. We didn't need our car and almost exclusively used bicycles during our stay. There are beautiful restaurants nearby, which can also be easily reached on foot.

We went on vacation as a couple and had visits from our children in between. It's a bit tight with four adults, but still manageable; ideal for families with children. We enjoyed it as a couple as well.

We can definitely recommend the house and would love to come back again.

we had a lovely, relaxing week at your holiday home, the first vacation with a baby.
We lacked nothing - you have furnished the house very lovingly and with attention to detail, so we felt comfortable right away.
For rainy days, the infrared sauna is great, otherwise you are just a few minutes away from the beach and can take long walks. Even our dog felt very comfortable, the Dutch are fortunately very relaxed and open-minded in this regard.

We have just one suggestion for improvement: a new mattress for the large bed upstairs! (Which is, of course, a matter of taste).

Four days were definitely too short.
The house was extremely clean, very tastefully decorated, nothing was missing (except for a baking dish ☺️), and the Toewe family were immediately available for questions and acted promptly.
The house is really comforting. The dog also felt immediately comfortable. The completely fenced garden was perfect for us.
It was great that two bicycles were also available.
Anytime again! On the day of departure, the house must be vacated by 10 o'clock, which was unfortunately very early, we couldn't even say goodbye.

Golden September at Yperhof 1940

We spent 2 lovely weeks here. The house is well-equipped, has a nice bathroom, and our dog could enjoy the sun outside without any problems thanks to the high fenced garden.

The house has 2 bicycles, which we often used for trips to the nearby bakery or supermarket in Julianadorp. For getting breakfast, cake, and bread, we recommend the artisan bakery Dunselmann at Loopuytpark 24.

In the area (approx. 10-15 minutes by car), there are great beaches like Kijkduin or Petten. The dunes and the North Sea are wonderful for walks. We also recommend visiting the cheese market in Alkmaar. 45 minutes by car) there is an interesting steam engine museum, where many machines can still be admired in operation on weekends. There is also a castle and a wildlife park waiting to be discovered, in the nearby Den Helder there is a Naval Museum and various shopping opportunities.

In Alkmaar, boat trips on the canals can be taken in the summer. The famous cheese market should also be mentioned. The vacation was very relaxing, and we were able to take beautiful walks on the nearby, almost completely empty sandy beach in September.

The nice contact with the landlords, the Toewe family, should also be mentioned.

The house was completely renovated and tastefully furnished in the summer of 2017.
There is a small infrared sauna in the ground floor single bedroom.

The house is freshly renovated and very tastefully and modernly decorated. There are "good" mattresses and even down comforters and pillows. Everything you could need is really there. Beach wagon, extra blankets, etc.. all around good!

The only downside is the garden... the green thumb could take another look at it, because only the tall weeds really bloomed there :-)

Schöne Tage in NL

In the equally cozy and tastefully designed holiday home No. 19, we spent beautiful days in the Netherlands. There was plenty of nice tableware, the dishwasher was very convenient, and we lacked nothing. Everything was very uncomplicated, and the contact with the landlords was always nice. We really liked the peaceful holiday park as well as the many excursion options to charming towns/places, markets, museums, etc., suitable for any weather. There are very tasty restaurants for every taste and convenient shopping nearby. The fenced garden was great for the dog. The beautiful beach is quickly accessible by bike or car, and of course by foot as well, although it's a bit of a walk (for a long day at the beach with children and luggage, I would recommend using bikes/cars). Ideal for walkers, joggers, cyclists, skaters, kitesurfers, etc.
There are stables in the area for riders (with or without your own horse).
There are numerous offers for families in the nearby and further surroundings.
We surprisingly got used to the helicopters very quickly.
We highly recommend this beautiful vacation spot and the friendly landlords and would love to come back when the opportunity arises.

Relaxing vacation!

A quiet holiday resort, a very nice, modern, tastefully furnished house. We didn't miss anything in the kitchen! Unfortunately, we couldn't use the beautiful garden due to the storm and rainy weather. . . But you can't book the weather. . . The distance to the beach is probably as the crow flies! You can't just march through the dunes. I like to move around in any weather, so that wasn't a problem for me! And the beach is beautiful! Thanks to the Toewe family, we would come back anytime!
