Ideal for 2 people who love peace and nature. Central starting point for bike tours on the Darß. Beach walks at the rustic West Beach, shopping in Ahrenshoop, a visit to the new pier in Prerow, and much more make a stay delightful. We would love to come back.

Romantic dream

A romantic time travel to grandma's thatched holiday cottage: a village and a holiday home from another time - incredible tranquility, plenty of nature, old typical houses with thatched roofs and colorful doors, and old trees transport the guest to another world. The furnishings of the small, cozy cottage are well thought out and lovingly arranged, fitting the romantic surroundings. The small front garden wonderfully completes the story. Actually, one would like to keep this a secret and not recommend it! :-)

Holiday home in Born on the Darß

In advance, it was a beautiful vacation. We booked the small holiday cottage in the off-season. The contact with the landlords via email and post was great. There was always an immediate response. This was by far the best correspondence we have had with holiday home landlords. It conveys seriousness in times when fraud is common. Upon arrival at the holiday home, one thinks for a moment, "it is very small." Upon opening the front door, the entire charm of this property is reflected.
Old building substance from past centuries mixed with style and modernity.
The first impression: everything is spick and span. The kitchen and bathroom are certainly not the most modern.
But everything is top-notch and fitting with the ambiance of the house.
The bedroom is located on the first floor. The beds were wonderful.
In front of the house is a seating area with a table and chairs. The privacy is guaranteed by a hedge and fence. There is space for 2 bicycles, which can possibly be attached to a pole.
Directly across is a bakery. Shopping options are quickly accessible by car or bike. Since we come from the mountains, we associate the Baltic Sea with tasty fish. Even in Born, in the off-season, during our vacation, there is no problem at all.
On the Darß, almost everything is reachable by bike. Otherwise, there are enough parking spaces in the off-season from where you can hike. Prerow, Zingst, and Ahrenshoop radiated a calm. "Wonderful"
