Brand new luxury timber-framed house with excellent facilities: The 5-star (DTV) Landhaus am Meer Groß Schwansee. Family-friendly for the best relaxation in all weathers.
Our motto: Luxury meets family friendliness. We know from our own experience: just because you want the kids to feel comfortable, you can still enjoy a holiday in a great ambience. That's why we have thought of everything. And of course, the fully automatic coffee machine is not to be missed. And so that you can take grandma and grandpa with you, we have arranged one bedroom on the ground floor.

When booking for 8 people, the whole house with 4 bedrooms is at your disposal. All are equipped with electric shutters, hygienic designer flooring (bathrooms: tiles), decorative pleated blinds and decentralised ventilation system.
When booking for 4 or 6 people, you make your choice. Choose 2 or 3 bedrooms/bathrooms according to your taste:
- Dune - our comfortable bedroom on the ground floor north with directly adjoining "en suite bathroom" (18m² in total). Luxurious "Revor" box spring bed 180cmx200cm, large Samsung UHD SMART TV 43", designer wardrobe 2m, 2 bedside tables with reading lamps. Large shower area (floor-level and stepless) with 30cm rain overhead shower and additional hand shower, elegant glass shower walls with revolving door, illuminated inwall storage compartment, washbasin with base cabinet and many storage options, WC rimless, softclose, bidet, LED mirror and illuminated high-tech cosmetic mirror
- Beach chair - our cosy dormer room on the upper floor west with directly adjoining "en suite bathroom" (18m² in total). Luxurious "Revor" box spring bed 180cmx200cm, large Samsung-SMART-TV 40", design wardrobe 2m, chest of drawers 1m, 2 bedside tables with reading lamps. High-quality bathroom en suite without bidet, equipment similar to the bathroom "Düne".
- Cabin - our cosy room on the upper floor north with directly adjoining "en suite bathroom" (16m² in total). Luxurious "Revor" box spring bed 180cmx200cm. Large Samsung UHD SMART TV 43", wardrobe 1m, chest of drawers 1m, 2 bedside tables with reading lamps. Bathroom with shower area (hand and overhead shower) without bidet, equipment similar to the bathroom "Düne".
- Bunk - our small, cosy room on the first floor west, which is particularly popular with children and young people. Small bedroom with 2 single beds 90x200, 2 small wardrobes, bedside table, reading lamps, bookshelf, Samsung SMART-TV 32".
You can book the country house for up to 8 people. For larger groups of up to 16 people, bookings are possible in combination with our second identical country house "4 Jahrzeiten" with almost identical furnishings on the same property.

Walks are a real experience not only in summer, but also in winter on the snow-covered Baltic Sea beach. On the Baltic Sea cycle path along the coast, you cycle with the best views through endless rapeseed and golden-yellow grain fields. Immerse yourself in the tranquillity and vastness of this fascinating landscape. with its unique recreational value.
A real highlight is the Schlossgut Groß Schwansee in the immediate vicinity. Here you can enjoy the extensive breakfast buffet and the light, refined gourmet cuisine in the castle restaurant. In summer, the Brasserie invites you to enjoy Mecklenburg delicacies and delicious cakes
Groß Schwansee is also an excellent starting point for excursions to the nearby seaside resorts of Travemünde, Timmendorfer Strand and Boltenhagen. If you want to enjoy big-city flair, you can quickly reach the 4 Hanseatic cities of Lübeck or Wismar (35km each) or Rostock or Hamburg (100km each). The state capital Schwerin (80km) is also within easy reach.

A great holiday home
It is a great holiday home that leaves nothing to be desired. We felt very comfortable there for a week with 4 people. The furnishings are luxurious, nothing is missing, everything is impeccably clean.
Especially the sauna was good for us in January.
We had a warm relationship with the landlady, Mrs Jurkat, right from the start. All wishes were accommodated.
The nearby Schlosshotel makes it possible to have breakfast, coffee or dinner in a cosy atmosphere. The way to the beach takes only 10 min.
I can only recommend this holiday home.

It doesn't get any better than this - even for demanding people
Everything is just right here! We have stayed in luxury houses, e.g. on Sylt, but we have never experienced anything as great as this. The equipment is top-notch - from the bed to the sauna, nothing is missing and you can just enjoy the peace and quiet and the great landscape and switch off/relax. Children also have a lot of fun here and have a lot to discover. The landlords are very friendly. Conclusion: Highly recommended, even for the more demanding!

Absolutely recommendable
Beautiful holiday home, absolutely recommendable. We (5 adults + 1 child) stayed there for a week. The house is very quietly located off a dead-end street. The equipment is exclusive, the large living-dining area is comfortably furnished and lacks nothing. Plenty of dishes, cutlery, glasses incl. 2 coffee machines are available. We appreciated the 3 bedrooms with bathrooms. We regularly used the beautiful, large sauna in the evenings. From there, you have a view over the fields.
The large garden is beautifully landscaped and equipped with a play tower for children. You overlook fields and meadows. Garden furniture is plentiful.
In the garden house, bicycles, a grill, a trolley, and many Bobby and Ket cars are available.
To the Baltic Sea, it's about 800 meters, passing by the castle. A beautiful landscape for walking and cycling. Boltenhagen and Travemünde are quickly accessible by bike. The bread roll service is recommended, it saved us the morning drive to the neighboring village for groceries.
The contact with the landlady was very pleasant, the personal handover very friendly.
In summary: Great house, beautiful area. We would love to come back.

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus
We were there with a group and immediately felt comfortable.
The house is fantastic. Everything you need to feel comfortable is there.
Especially cozy is the gas fireplace; watch a movie with a glass of wine and the evening is perfect.
The beds are excellent, and the bathroom area is really nicely done.
The location is very central yet secluded; Lübeck can be reached in half an hour, and Boltenhagen is also not far away. The beach at the location is wonderful and easily accessible on foot.
The only downside was that there was a lot of construction in the area at the time, but personally, it didn't bother us since we couldn't hear anything.
All in all, a highly recommended holiday home with very friendly landlords :)
