The detached holiday home WALDHÄUSCHEN is located in NORTH RHEIN-WEST FALEN, in MORSBACH in the nature park BERGISCHES LAND, east of COLOGNE, extremely quiet and romantic, directly at the forest, with a view into the Morsbach valley
And yet you are only 4 minutes away from the town, for shopping, strolling, stopping for a bite to eat A beautiful forest garden with pool, terrace, veranda, garden furniture, loungers and barbecue with accessories offers relaxation and plenty of private sphere
The wooded mountain area is ideal for relaxation for body and soul: in SUMMER swimming, barbecuing, walking and picnicking, in AUTUMN mushroom picking, hiking and evenings by the fireplace, in WINTER walking in the snow and drinking mulled wine at the Christmas market or romantically celebrating New Year's Eve for two, of course with sparkling wine and nibbles, which we provide for you.
The small forest cottage offers with approx. 40 sqm space for 2 to 3 persons,
has a WINTERGARD with PANORAMA VIEW, where you can have a wonderful breakfast,
a LIVING ROOM with a dining area and a seating area with a fold-out sofa bed and a wood-burning stove,
a BEDROOM with a 1.40 m wide bed and a beautiful view of the garden, also a baby cot if required,
a small KITCHEN with 4-plate cooker, oven, refrigerator, microwave, coffee machine, toaster and kettle, spices, coffee, cocoa. Capuccino and many kinds of tea.
The small daylight BATHROOM has a SHOWER & WC and a window and is equipped with a good hairdryer, soap dispenser, shower gel etc. .
The house is HEATABLE ALL YEAR (gas)
In addition, the living room has a FIREPLACE, which really makes for cosiness on cool days. Also 1 box of firewood is ready.
Behind the house is an INCREDIBLE WOODEN TERRACE with garden furniture and parasol and a view of the fir forest
In front of the house you can also sit on the bench under an awning and barbecue. GRILL & WOOD COAL are ready and also a small sandbox with toys.
And of course you can enjoy the POOL & sunbathe in PRIVATE SPACE.

Location and surroundings of object
MORSBACH is located in the south of North Rhine-Westphalia, 65 km east of COLOGNE, on the border with Rhineland-Palatinate and offers over 150 km of WANDERWEGE (hiking trails) in a hilly, wooded landscape. On clear days you can see the Siebengebirge, the Sauerland and the Westerwald from the OUTLOOK TOWER.
The pretty village has many shops, restaurants and cafés, an indoor swimming pool, tennis courts, a spa park, a medieval basilica and beautiful old half-timbered houses
Nearby is the WASSERSCHLOSS Crottorf in an old park and in the neighbouring village of Eckenhagen a large MONKEY and BIRD EXPERIENCE PARK and the MONTE-MARE-BAD with sauna and wellness area. There are also natural open-air swimming pools at the reservoirs in the surrounding area. The PANARBORA tree-top walk offers a special nature experience.
For excursions to the Rhine, Cologne (cathedral, old town, carnival, ) and Bonn, the Siebengebirge, Siegen, Düsseldorf, to stalactite caves, castles, dams, open-air museums etc. . . Morsbach is the ideal base.

It was great again!
For the second time, we, a couple, stayed at Frau Kirfel's Waldhäuschen in Morsbach, and it was wonderful again! The pool was nice and cool, perfect for summer! The small house had everything we needed! The beautiful garden was shaded by trees - sun if desired (for my husband) and shade (for me). There's a parking space in front of the garden, birds, squirrels, and heavenly peace and quiet. I'm sure it's also great in autumn and winter, for finding mushrooms and lighting the fireplace. It really is beautiful and perfect for relaxing. We will come back. Small tip: very nice hairdresser near Aldi. And: definitely try the barbecue by the pool. Thank you, Frau Kirfel, and thank you, Michael, for the guitar tips! (I know I've already said it, but we will be back! :-))

Very friendly hostess who gave us a warm welcome.
The forest cottage was equipped with everything you need for the household.
Great location in the forest and pure peace and relaxation. All around excursion destinations and forests to walk; ideal with our 2 dogs.

Wunderbar
Das Häuschen ist mit viel Liebe ausgestattet. Die Begruessung mit brennendem Kaminofen und fertiger Kaffeetafel war so schön und sehr nett. Sekt, O-Saft stand auch bereit. Für den Hund war Leckerchen und Wasser bereitgestellt. Es war wie nach Hause kommen.
Hab ich alles so nkch nie erlebt. Vor allen Dingen, weil unser grosser Hund auch herzlich willkommen war.
Alles in allen, nur zu empfehlen ! Danke Frau Kirfel für Ihre Bemühungen!☺

Natur & Erholung pur
Das Waldhäuschen ist für Naturliebhaber und Ruhe-Suchende ideal. Das eingezäunte Grundstück sowie das angrenzende Unterholz im Wald ist ein Schnüffelparadies für Hunde. Wir Zweibeiner können uns im Pool entspannen, von den vielen Sitzmöglickeiten aus, die Natur beobachten oder uns im gemütlich eingerichtetem Häuschen so richtig einkuscheln. Die Einrichtung ist zweckmässig, es fehlt an nichts.
Wir werden garantiert wieder buchen!

Einfach traumhaft
Wer sich in absoluter Ruhe und mit viel Natur in unmittelbarer Nähe entspannen möchte, ist hier genau richtig! Das Häuschen bietet alles, was man sich wünschen kann; es ist an alles gedacht. Die Gastfreundschaft von Frau Kirfel ist einfach beispiellos und die lieben Willkommensgrüße haben uns wirklich überrascht. Haus, Grundstück (eingezäunt) und auch die Umgebung sind auch für einen Urlaub mit Hund ideal.
Wir haben uns rundherum wohl gefühlt und ich denke, es wird nicht unser letzter Aufenthalt dort gewesen sein.
PS: leider lassen sich für Service nur 5 Sterne vergeben, da hätte ich gern deutlich mehr angeklickt. :-)

Waldhaus, Morsbach
For stressed people who want to relax, just the right thing and if you still have a dog, all the better. Pure nature and a pleasant atmosphere. I am back from my holiday refreshed and realise how noisy our everyday life is. I will be happy to come back. Forest cottage Morsbach
My husband and I, and our 2 little dogs had a wonderful week! The location is fantastic to relax! The cottage is well equipped, the landlady is super nice and takes care of everything! The forest garden with pool is a dream! The dogs could be off leash all day and roam around. We were very satisfied with everything and will definitely come again.

Everything perfect
We stayed in Mrs Kirfel's little forest cottage for a short holiday and can only say that it was just perfect. The location and furnishings are really great. Very cosy. The welcome by Mrs Kirfel was incredibly warm with coffee and cake and even the fireplace was already lit. The house has everything you need. We can highly recommend this accommodation and will definitely come again!

Das Waldhäuschen von Frau Kirfel ist wirklich toll. Wir sind sehr nett empfangen worden und Frau Kirfel ist sehr zuverlässig.
Das Waldhäuschen ist mit allem ausgestattet was man sich nur wünschen kann und es blieb kein Wunsch offen. Wir waren ebenfalls begeistert wie sauber und gepflegt alles war.

Waldhäuschen 1 in Morsbach
We zijn bij aankomst vriendelijk ontvangen door mevr. Helmi Kirfel en in ons kleine knusse huisje stond een kan warme koffie met cake en daarnaast ook nog twee flesjes wijn op tafel. De aankleding/inventaris is op het eerste gezicht wat druk maar heel gezellig en werkelijk alles is in het huisje aanwezig! Behalve de eerste dagen hebben we goed weer gehad en hebben we menigmaal, na een fikse wandeling in de nabijheid, volop kunnen genieten van ons terrasje en verkoeling bij de pool. De gastvrijheid van de heer en mevrouw Kirfel is zeer goed en warm. Ook hebben we menig leuk uitstapje met de auto in de omgeving gemaakt. Kortom we hebben een leuke vakantie gehad!

Ruhe und Entspannung
Wer die absolute Ruhe und Entspannung sucht ist im Waldhäuschen genau richtig. Die Gastgeberin, Frau Kirfel, ist ein wahrer Engel und kümmert sich rührend um Ihre Gäste. Bei Ankunft stand frisch gekochter Kaffee und Kuchen bereit sowie gekühlter Sekt und Orangensaft und sogar Leckerlis für den Hund. Im Großen Ganzen waren es tolle Tage im Waldhäuschen mit Pool, es hat an nichts gefehlt. Die Anregungen, die wir hatten, wurden von Frau Kirfel freundlich angenommen und wir sind sicher, dass sie einiges umsetzen wird. Auch an dieser Stelle noch einmal ein herzliches Dankeschön für die herrliche Zeit zwischen den Bäumen und am Pool. LG
