40 sqm space for 2 people,
has a CONSERVATORY where you can have a wonderful breakfast,
a LIVING ROOM with a dining area and a seating area with a fold-out sofa and wood-burning stove,
a BEDROOM with a 1.40 m wide bed and a beautiful view of the garden, a baby bed if needed,
a small KITCHEN with a 4-burner stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, coffee machine, toaster, and kettle, spices, coffee, cocoa, cappuccino, and many types of tea. The small daylight BATHROOM has a SHOWER & WC and a window and is equipped with a good hairdryer, soap dispenser, shower gel, etc. . .
The house is HEATABLE YEAR-ROUND (gas heating).
Additionally, the living room has a WOOD STOVE, which provides real coziness especially on cool days. Also, 1 box of firewood is ready.
Behind the house is a SECLUDED WOODEN TERRACE with garden furniture and a parasol, overlooking the pine forest.

MORSBACH is located in the south of North Rhine-Westphalia, 65 km east of COLOGNE, on the border with Rhineland-Palatinate and offers over 150 km of WANDERWEGE (hiking trails) in a hilly, wooded landscape. On clear days you can see the Siebengebirge, the Sauerland and the Westerwald from the OUTLOOK TOWER.
The pretty village has many shops, restaurants and cafés, an indoor swimming pool, tennis courts, a spa park, a medieval basilica and beautiful old half-timbered houses
Nearby is the WASSERSCHLOSS Crottorf in an old park and in the neighbouring village of Eckenhagen a large MONKEY and BIRD EXPERIENCE PARK and the MONTE-MARE-BAD with sauna and wellness area. There are also natural open-air swimming pools at the reservoirs in the surrounding area. The PANARBORA tree-top walk offers a special nature experience.
For excursions to the Rhine, Cologne (cathedral, old town, carnival, ) and Bonn, the Siebengebirge, Siegen, Düsseldorf, to stalactite caves, castles, dams, open-air museums etc. . . Morsbach is the ideal base.

It was great again!
For the second time, we, a couple, stayed at Frau Kirfel's Waldhäuschen in Morsbach, and it was wonderful again! The pool was nice and cool, perfect for summer! The small house had everything we needed! The beautiful garden was shaded by trees - sun if desired (for my husband) and shade (for me). There's a parking space in front of the garden, birds, squirrels, and heavenly peace and quiet. I'm sure it's also great in autumn and winter, for finding mushrooms and lighting the fireplace. It really is beautiful and perfect for relaxing. We will come back. Small tip: very nice hairdresser near Aldi. And: definitely try the barbecue by the pool. Thank you, Frau Kirfel, and thank you, Michael, for the guitar tips! (I know I've already said it, but we will be back! :-))

Very friendly hostess who gave us a warm welcome.
The forest cottage was equipped with everything you need for the household.
Great location in the forest and pure peace and relaxation. All around excursion destinations and forests to walk; ideal with our 2 dogs.

Wunderbar
The little house is equipped with a lot of love. The welcome with a burning stove and a ready coffee table was so beautiful and very nice. Sparkling wine, orange juice was also ready. Treats and water were provided for the dog. It was like coming home.
I've never experienced everything like this before. Above all, because our big dog was also warmly welcomed.
All in all, highly recommended! Thank you, Mrs. Kirfel, for your efforts! ☺

Nature & pure relaxation
The forest cottage is ideal for nature lovers and those seeking tranquility. The fenced property and the adjacent undergrowth in the forest are a paradise for dogs to sniff around. We humans can relax in the pool, observe nature from the many seating options, or snuggle up in the cozy furnished cottage. The furnishings are practical, nothing is missing.
We will definitely book again!

Little forest cottage
We were received very nicely with coffee, cake, sparkling wine, juice, and fruit. Our vacation was very quiet and relaxing. The Waldhäuschen has everything you need. Mrs. Kirfel and her son are very nice and take care of things immediately if you need help. A great vacation.

Einfach traumhaft
If you want to relax in absolute peace and with lots of nature nearby, this is the perfect place for you! The cottage offers everything you could wish for; everything has been thought of. Mrs. Kirfel's hospitality is simply unparalleled, and the lovely welcome greetings truly surprised us. The house, property (fenced), and the surrounding area are also ideal for a holiday with a dog. We felt very comfortable all around, and I think it won't be our last stay there.
P.S.: Unfortunately, only 5 stars can be given for service, I would have liked to click significantly more. :-)

Waldhaus, Morsbach
For stressed people who want to relax, just the right thing and if you still have a dog, all the better. Pure nature and a pleasant atmosphere. I am back from my holiday refreshed and realise how noisy our everyday life is. I will be happy to come back. Forest cottage Morsbach
My husband and I, and our 2 little dogs had a wonderful week! The location is fantastic to relax! The cottage is well equipped, the landlady is super nice and takes care of everything! The forest garden with pool is a dream! The dogs could be off leash all day and roam around. We were very satisfied with everything and will definitely come again.

Everything perfect
We stayed in Mrs Kirfel's little forest cottage for a short holiday and can only say that it was just perfect. The location and furnishings are really great. Very cosy. The welcome by Mrs Kirfel was incredibly warm with coffee and cake and even the fireplace was already lit. The house has everything you need. We can highly recommend this accommodation and will definitely come again!

Mrs. Kirfel's forest cottage is really great. We were welcomed very nicely, and Mrs. Kirfel is very reliable. The forest cottage is equipped with everything one could wish for, and all wishes were fulfilled. We were also impressed by how clean and well-maintained everything was.

Waldhäuschen 1 in Morsbach
Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Mrs. Helmi Kirfel, and in our small cozy cottage, there was a pot of hot coffee with cake and two bottles of wine on the table. The decoration/inventory may seem a bit busy at first glance but very cozy, and truly everything is available in the cottage! Except for the first few days, we had good weather and, after a brisk walk in the vicinity, we were able to fully enjoy our terrace and cool off by the pool multiple times. The hospitality of Mr. and Mrs. Kirfel is very good and warm. We also enjoyed several nice trips in the area by car. In short, we had a great holiday!

Peace and relaxation
If you are looking for absolute peace and relaxation, Waldhäuschen is the perfect place. The host, Mrs. Kirfel, is a true angel and takes excellent care of her guests. Upon arrival, fresh coffee and cake, chilled champagne and orange juice, and even treats for the dog were waiting. Overall, it was wonderful days at Waldhäuschen with a pool, and nothing was lacking. The suggestions we had were kindly accepted by Mrs. Kirfel, and we are confident that she will implement some of them. Once again, a heartfelt thank you for the wonderful time among the trees and by the pool. Best regards.
