The detached holiday home WALDHAUS EULENLAND is located in NORTH RHINE-WESTPHALIA,
in MORSBACH in the BERGISCHES LAND Nature Park, east of COLOGNE,
very quiet and romantic, in a wooded setting, with a view over the Morsbach valley.
And yet you are in the village in just 4 min., for shopping, strolling, dining . . . .
Our beautiful woodland garden with pool, terrace, veranda, garden furniture, loungers, a pavilion and grill with accessories offers relaxation and lots of privacy.
The wooded mountain landscape brings ideal recreation for body + soul:
In SUMMER for swimming, grilling, walking and picnicking . . . .
in AUTUMN for mushroom picking, hiking and evenings by the fireplace . . . .
in WINTER for walks in the snow and mulled wine at the Christmas market or celebrating New Year's Eve romantically, of course with sparkling wine and snacks, which we provide for you.
The romantic little holiday house was renovated and cozily furnished for up to 4 people, for relaxing and feeling good, with 2 BEDROOMS, the first with a 1.40 m wide double bed, the second with 2.00 m long bunk beds.
The spacious LIVING ROOM has a comfortable lounge area with cuddly pillows + blankets, a large flat-screen TV, an extendable dining table with chairs and a new, cozy wood-burning stove. On the bookshelf there are games and books for adults and children, and there is also a DVD player and a stereo system + CDs.
The KITCHEN-LIVING ROOM is fully equipped with all appliances, including dishwasher and also many spices, vinegar and oil, coffee, cocoa and many types of tea, grill sauces in the fridge and much more . . .
The SHOWER BATH already contains everything you need (except for the toothbrush), and little visitors have also been thought of. Here too you have daylight, and a window with a view of the greenery.
There is also a HALLWAY with vestibule
and a UTILITY ROOM with washing machine and dryer, ironing board and iron, vacuum cleaner and various cleaning supplies.
From the living room you step outside onto the small TERRACE with seating area and sunshade.
A grill with all accessories is also ready.
On the other side of the house is a large, covered and furnished VERANDA. A real favorite spot.
In front of the house entrance is a completely fenced garden area, and below is the sunbathing lawn with pool and pavilion, the children's play area with sandbox and playhouse, and the car parking space. A well-lit staircase with several wide steps leads up to the house.
The POOL is available from June to August.

MORSBACH is located in southern North Rhine-Westphalia, 65 km east of COLOGNE, on the border with Rhineland-Palatinate and offers over 150 km of hiking trails in a wooded, hilly landscape.
From the observation tower, you can see the Siebengebirge, the Sauerland, and the Westerwald on clear days.
The pretty town has many shops, restaurants and cafés, an indoor swimming pool, tennis courts, a spa park, a medieval basilica, and pretty old half-timbered houses. Nearby lies the Crottorf moated castle in a beautiful old park,
the neighboring town of Waldbröl offers regular farmers' markets and
recently a TREE-TOP WALK,
in nearby Eckenhagen a visit to the large Monkey & Bird Adventure Park
and the Monte Mare pool with sauna and wellness area is worthwhile.
Natural outdoor pools at the reservoirs in the area also invite you to swim.
Excursions to the Rhine, to Cologne (cathedral, old town, carnival, musicals, GamesCom . . . ) and Bonn, the Siebengebirge, Siegen, Düsseldorf,

or the Sauerland line A45 Dortmund-Frankfurt,
and after another 15 to 20 minutes you will reach your destination,
completely away from noise and hustle,
just relax and enjoy!

Pure relaxation.
We spent a week with our dog in Eulenland. In hot temperatures, we made extensive use of the pool. The house is equipped with everything you need, and we lacked nothing. Plus, the peace and quiet. It couldn't be better. We would have stayed for 2 weeks as well. Highly recommended for nature lovers. Thanks again to Mrs. Kirfel and her son Michael, who welcomed us with champagne, orange juice, cake, coffee, and candles at a beautifully set table. Large bowl with fresh fruit on top. It doesn't get better than this. Thanks again a thousand times.

Pure relaxation with a dog
We spent a week in the forest house. What should I say: A lot of peace, very dog-friendly, pure relaxation. Beautiful hiking trails and we lacked nothing. Perfect for those seeking rest and tranquility. It takes about 5 minutes by car to get to the town. Everything is available: shopping options, restaurant, ice cream parlor, etc.

Cozy vacation home
We were warmly welcomed with coffee, cake, and sparkling wine. There were also treats for our dog. The vacation home is fully and comfortably furnished. You feel at home right away. Here you can completely relax and recharge. Unfortunately, we could only use the beautiful pool once because the weather wasn't very nice. We will definitely come back.

Perfect accommodation with a dog, beautiful tranquility, and a very relaxed departure day until 4 PM.
We were there for 1 week with 2 people and a very large dog. The house is fully equipped, and the warm welcome and introduction were amazing. There were treats for the dog, and for us, fresh coffee and cake, a fruit bowl, and 2 Piccolo and orange juice were ready. You don't have to drive every day since you can walk very nicely from the house. The terrace with a panoramic view is very large and cozy. From the living room, the birdhouse is very exciting to observe, especially when the squirrel comes by.
1 week was way too short, and we would love to come back.

Man muss auch nicht jeden Tag mit dem Auto fahren da man vom Haus aus sehr schön laufen kann.
Die Terrasse mit Rundumblick ist sehr groß und gemütlich. Vom Wohnzimmer aus ist das Vogelhäuschen sehr spannend zu beobachten, vor allem, wenn auch das Eichhörnchen vorbei kommt.
1 Woche war viel zu kurz und wir kommen gerne wieder.
Hier ist man gut aufgehoben, Hunde sind nicht nur geduldet, sondern von Herzen willkommen und das spürt man auch. :)
In diesen Ferienhaus wurde an alles gedacht, bei unserer Ankunft waren die Betten bezogen und auf dem Tisch warteten frischer Kaffee und Kuchen auf uns.
Danke nochmal an Micha, der uns alles erklärt und gezeigt hat und stets für Fragen oder Anliegen erreichbar war!
Auch der Pool wurde ausgiebig in dieser Woche genutzt, er hat uns den Urlaub noch mal versüsst.
Ansonsten bekommt man genau das, was einem versprochen wird. Ruhe, einen tollen Ausblick auf den Wald und die Wiesen und einfach Entschleunigung in der Natur.
Gerne würden wir im nächsten Jahr wieder in dieses tolle Haus kommen.

aufgenommen.Mit Auto sind Ausflugsziele gut zu erreichen.
Ligging is prachtig, mooie veranda met prachtig uitzicht.
We voelden ons echt thuis, het huisje is van alle gemakken voorzien, een aanrader !
Fam. Kirfel begrüßte uns persönlich und es stand schon Kaffee, Kuchen, Sekt und Orangensaft bereit! Auch unsere Hündin bekam was Feines! Ihr hat es hier auch sehr gut gefallen!

Dadurch war es auch an Silvester nicht sehr leise, so wie uns das in der Objektbeschreibung versprochen worden war. Unser Hund hat ziemlich unter der Knallerei gelitten, was wir eigentlich vermeiden wollten. Die Beschreibung hat die Vermieterin allerdings mittlerweile geändert.
Das Haus ist ziemlich dunkel, etwas muffig und mit unzähligen Eulen dekoriert.
Die angebrochenen Grillsaucen, die wohl noch vom letzten Sommer übrig geblieben, im Kühlschrank standen, sind Geschmacksache.
Am schönsten am Waldhaus Eulenland ist das gut besuchte Vogelhaus im Garten!
Sehr nett war der Sohn der Vermieterin, der uns empfangen hat und an Silvester Sekt und Knabbereien vorbei brachte.
Das schöne Spätsommerwetter gab uns noch die Möglichkeit den Pool zu nutzen, dann zeigte der Herbst seine goldigen Seiten und an den kühlen Abenden machte der Kaminofen alles noch gemütlicher. Nicht zu vergessen der wunderschöne Sternenhimmel in der Nacht bei kaum künstlichem Licht und absoluter Ruhe, außer dem Rufen der Eulen und Kauze ... wie passend !
Danke an Familie Kirfel für die sehr liebe Begrüßung und die nette Nachbarschaftsbetreuung, speziell die besonders leckeren selbstgemachten Marmeladen.
Wir kommen gerne wieder wenn eine Auszeit nötig wird, zu dritt, zu zweit oder ein verlängertes Wochenende allein zum Runterkommen nach dem Dienst.
Morsbach ist ja nur ein Katzensprung entfernt, und das 2. Waldhäuschen möchte auch noch erlebt werden.
Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet was man zu wohlfühlen braucht. Wir haben mit unseren Enkeln einen wunderschönen sonnigen Urlaub erlebt und die Kinder haben sich im Pool wohl gefühlt.
Frau Kirfel und ihr Sohn sind ganz nette und liebevolle Gastgeber.
Ich würde es jederzeit erneut mieten, wenn ich wieder mal abschalten muß :)

Ein eingezäunter Garten ausbruchsicher auch für Dackel. Im Haus alles was man braucht und wirklich alles angefangen mit Wolldecken wenn es mal kühler wird bis Gewürze, kann gar nicht alles auf zählen...
Bei unserer Ankunft war Kaffee auf geschüttet und es stand Kuchen und Sekt dort.
Man fühlt sich als Gast und eine nettere Gastgeberin als Frau Kirfel gibt es nicht.
Leider war die Woche so schnell vorbei, aber wir drohen damit wieder zu kommen.
vielen Dank für Ihren herzlichen Empfang mit Kaffee/Tee und Kuchen. Das Ferienhaus hatte alles - es hat an nichts gefehlt. Selbst Nähzeug war vorhanden. Alles was ein Haushalt benötigt. Das Wetter war sehr schön und heiß. Da war der Pool für eine Abkühlung genau das richtige :-). Die Ruhe war einzigartig. Also wär die Ruhe mag, der ist genau richtig dort.
Wir kommen gern nochmal wieder :-).

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt im Eulenland, das Ferienhaus ist sehr gemütlich, alles nötige ist vorhanden, die Ruhe himmlisch, die Lage optimal zum Wandern und Entspannen, und selbst bei schlechtem Wetter findet man genug trockene und behagliche Plätze ums Haus. Besondere Freude hat uns das Vogelhaus mit regem Besuch gemacht.
Alles in allem: das Haus ist absolut empfehlenswert!
Frau Kirfel ist unschlagbar ,wir hatten noch nie einen so herzlichen Empfang.
Die Lage des Hauses ist für erholungssuchende, Wanderer, Gästen mit Kindern und/oder Hund
absolut empfehlenswert.

Fast mitten im Wald alles was man braucht sogar ein pool kamin usw volkommen zum entspannen sehr schöne Umgebung man kann viel unternehmen .das Ferienhaus ist sauber und wir hatten einen sehr lieben empfang
