Description
The spacious holiday flat offers 98 m² of space for up to 6 people + 2 small children. The holiday flat is furnished to a very high standard and places particular emphasis on families with children. Wifi is available free of charge in the flat and on the entire grounds.
The flat is divided into 2 levels. In the basement is the large living room with dining area, sofa bed with proper slatted frames + cold foam mattresses (1.60 m wide), satellite TV (Smart TV with Internet), games, books and DVDs. From the light-flooded living room you can reach the balcony. Here you have a great view over the natural peninsula to the Baltic Sea. The balcony has a seating area with table and 2 folding high-back chairs for relaxing. You can enjoy wonderful sunsets from the balcony.
In the basement you will also find the smaller bathroom with shower, toilet and washbasin. The fully equipped kitchen with cooker, oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, window and all cooking utensils is also located in the basement.
A staircase secured with a child safety gate leads to the upper floor. Here are 2 bedrooms with double bed, wardrobes and 1 cot each. The larger bathroom with bathtub with integrated shower, changing mat, WC, washbasin and hairdryer is also on the upper floor. From the bathroom and one bedroom you have a great view over the island to the Baltic Sea.
On the property you will find a sauna, washing machine + dryer for a fee, a large wooden playground, barbecue and seating facilities, underground parking with its own parking space and bicycle storage, fish cleaning room and table tennis room. There is a bread service on site and a bakery van stops at the property 3 times a week.

Location and surroundings of object
The house is surrounded by strawberry fields, a golf course and a bird sanctuary. It is located on a small peninsula between Wismar and Boltenhagen. To the north, east and west, you can reach the Baltic Sea in 800 metres. You can decide for yourself whether you want to go to the natural beach, the steep coast or the well-kept beach with beach chair rental. The harbour with its Italian restaurant is also within walking distance (800 m). Next door is the popular Hohen Wieschendorf golf course.
In the immediate vicinity are great cycling and hiking trails along the Baltic Sea, cliffs and through nature and bird sanctuaries. Enjoy fantastic views over the sea.
The fantastic location between the Hanseatic city of Wismar and the Baltic Sea resort of Boltenhagen offer you countless leisure opportunities. You can go surfing, deep-sea fishing, swimming, shopping, boating, swimming, cycling, hiking and much more. The Wonnemar leisure pool with sauna area in Wismar, the zoo or the Pirate Open Air Theatre in Grevesmühlen are fun for the whole family. Wismar with its historic old town and harbour or the state capital Schwerin with its fairytale castle can be reached quickly by car. A trip to the island of Poel, Kühlungsborn, Heiligendamm, Warenmünde or Rostock is also not far away.

Beschwerde
Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren, wir kamen in die Wohnung und sie war kalt. Wir haben die Heizungen angestellt und einen Ausflug nach Wismar unternommen. Bei unserer Rückkehr gegen 18.30 Uhr haben wir festgestellt, dass lediglich zwei Heizkörper warm wurden. Daraufhin verständigten wir den Hausmeister. Der wollte so spontan nichts unternehmen, sondern am nächsten Tag erscheinen. Nach einem erneuten Anruf am nächsten Tag, erschien er und entlüftete die Heizung. Es dauerte noch etwa einen Tag bis die total ausgekühlte Wohnung einigermaßen warm wurde. Ich würde mich freuen, von Ihnen zu hören.
Empfehlung: evtl. zwei Tage vor der Vermietung im Winter die Heizung anstellen!!!

Very nice holiday flat with small drawbacks
The holiday flat is fully equipped and spacious for 4-6 people, especially the equipment for (also small) children is optimal. The children can sleep undisturbed on the upper floor while the adults enjoy the evening on the balcony. The caretaker deserves special mention: super nice, helpful, always approachable . If requested, he even puts warm bread rolls in front of the door every morning.
The only point of criticism is the cleanliness, especially in times of Corona and in view of the fact that a note on the door should prove that a basic cleaning and disinfection has taken place before arrival. Windows, glass surfaces and glossy cupboards were full of fingerprints, dust, stains etc. and had certainly not been cleaned for some time. The cobwebs on the ceilings and the balcony parapet could also be looked at during the season.
A car is recommended if you do not only want to go to the nearby beach.

Caretaker - top-notch
Flat, complex, underground parking. Facilities etc. - completely fine, everything is good!
But - the caretaker-manager there: he simply tops everything and makes the stay from the registration and moving into the flat to the departure and farewell an experience!
Lothar gave us a really nice and authentic Nordic welcome, took care of everything... he knows everything, can do everything and is always in a good mood!
If you don't know the area - ask Lothar! A guide has been lost on him! He is able to conduct an impressive guided tour of Wismar in the hallway of the flat!
Seriously - Lothar really does a great job there!
Tip from Lothar and now also from us: eat delicious fish against in the "Cameroon" ! (Ask Lothar, he will tell you how to get there... ;-)

Beautiful holiday flat in a quiet location
We immediately felt very comfortable here, although it is an apartment complex. The flat is very well equipped, child-friendly and very well maintained. We also liked the fact that the bedrooms were on the second floor (good for naps for toddlers)
The way to the beach is a bit long for families with small children, but there is a trolley in the flat that you can use. The house service is great and you can order bread rolls here for every day if you like. Boltenhagen and Wismar are easily accessible by car in about 20 minutes. We were very satisfied and would come again, as the price-performance ratio is also right.

Kurztrip an die Ostsee
