Description
The entrance to the apartment is on the first floor. Here there is a spacious shower room (with washing machine, for a usage fee of 4.00 EUR per wash cycle) and the bedroom with box spring bed (180x200). From the hallway, you reach the living-dining area via the internal staircase, with a fully equipped fitted kitchen and adjoining balcony as well as roof terrace and winter garden.
The fitted kitchen is fully equipped (4-burner ceramic hob, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, etc.). There is also a Senseo espresso machine for the round, inexpensive pods (at Edeka or Aldi) and a manual milk frother (Tchibo). There are sufficient dishes, cutlery, and cooking utensils available to conjure up a delicious meal, for example from fresh fish or salt marsh lamb.
The TV signal comes via a central satellite dish (ASTRA). Of course, you can also listen to music on our corresponding system. The comfortable pull-out couch with slatted frame can be converted into two additional sleeping places (160 cm wide). Thus, a separate sleeping option is available. Furthermore, there is a separate sofa bed for one person, which does not need to be converted. The entire apartment has easy-to-clean tiled floors and underfloor heating. In the living area there are antique cabinets. Our apartment offers places to stay for any weather with a wide panoramic view of the landscape, whether on the south-facing rooftop terrace for sunbathing, on the sheltered balcony facing east (a lovely spot for breakfast), or in the conservatory during cooler temperatures. Even in winter, you can enjoy the wonderful view from the dining table through the very large windows. By the way, the best time for relaxation in East Frisia, medically speaking, is from October to March. The house with the apartment is located on a large plot for shared use. The apartment includes a parking space on the property for your car. You can store your bicycles in the covered area of the garden house. There is a covered seating area in the garden. The property borders a creek. This can be used for fishing (with a fishing license and the purchase of a guest card from the fishing club that has leased the water) or for other water sports (paddling, etc.). The spa administration now issues the guest cards.

Location and surroundings of object
The flat is situated in a very quiet location on the outskirts of Dornum in a cul-de-sac directly on the Dornumer Tief. There is no through traffic. The historic centre of this pretty village can be reached on foot in 5 to 10 minutes. Dornum offers plenty of shopping facilities such as Aldi, Neukauf, Netto, a pharmacy, restaurants, cafés, doctors and health centres. Worth seeing in the historic town centre are the Beninga castle, the baroque moated castle, the synagogue, the church, the market square, the Bock windmill, etc. The sea is approx. 6 km away. You can easily reach it by bike via the well-developed, densely networked cycle paths. Day trips by bike are also worthwhile, either directly along the coast behind or in front of the dyke or to the surrounding pretty coastal towns. Bicycles can be hired in the village.
Dornumersiel is a recognised seaside spa, where you will find a children's playhouse, heated seawater swimming pool, the beach with beach chairs, mudflat hiking opportunities, etc. There are numerous excursion possibilities to the East Frisian Islands, the cities of Aurich, Emden, Norden, Wilhelmshaven etc.
Deep-sea fishing is also on offer.
