We are happy to come again!

We had a wonderfully beautiful stay at Villa Dünenblick in Julianadorp. The house is very well-maintained, cozily furnished, and excellently equipped - you feel at home from the very first moment. Everything was clean and very tidy. After our beach walks, we really enjoyed the sauna. Our vacation was very nice and we would love to come back. Many thanks to Ms. Runggaldier for this lovingly furnished villa and the excellent communication.

A very beautiful holiday home

We felt very comfortable. The holiday home is only a 5-minute drive from the beach. The shopping centers are quickly reachable by car. The service and communication with Ms. Runggaldier went perfectly. We will definitely come back. Many thanks to the Runggaldier family.

Short vacation Julianadorp

We spent a short vacation in Villa Dünenblick in Julianadorp with a friend couple and our children, and we were thrilled. The house was very modernly furnished and flooded with light – you feel at home right away. Especially nice was the personal touch: Upon our arrival, a bouquet of flowers and a bottle of wine were ready for us, which made us very happy.

The furnishings and cleanliness were absolutely top-notch; we lacked nothing. A highlight was the small sauna, which we enjoyed using after long walks on the beach. The kids also had their fun, thanks to their own TV and good Wi-Fi.

Julianadorp is always worth a trip for us because you can eat excellently here (our tip: Paal 6) and, if needed, quickly drive to a city for shopping. All in all, it was a completely successful stay – we would love to come back!

More appearance than reality

We were disappointed with the accommodation. In the photos, everything looks good - not least because of the colorful and modern images on the walls - but in reality, it's unfortunately a bit different.

The house not only gives a somewhat neglected impression from the outside. Weeds are sprouting from all the cracks around the house, and there was plenty of leaves at the edge of the driveway that had not just blown there the day before. The outdoor lighting was present, but unfortunately not functional. The bathrooms are not worth mentioning further, except that the guest toilet is very cramped (due to the layout). Unlike the bathroom on the first floor, you could at least sit reasonably on the toilet on the ground floor – upstairs, there is a too bulky sink/cabinet combination blocking the legs, so you can only sit slightly sideways on the toilet. Also, there are no hair dryers available – we haven't experienced that in ages and had to buy one first. It was only superficially clean - a second look at the lamps or the silver bowl on the dining table quickly reveals the opposite. The sofa had numerous stains.

Otherwise, the kitchen appliances were quite simple and/or heavily worn, but the essentials were present. The oven was mounted so high that one could easily burn their arm when, for example, taking out a casserole and pulling the baking tray out a little. The box spring beds in the two "adult bedrooms" are very comfortable. However, in the "children's room," there are only 2 single beds with mattresses on plywood boards. In the latter, the window frame in one corner was severely swollen and damp like a sponge.

Conclusion: I don't believe the owner has been on site recently. Even though Julianadorp has been quite crowded lately, there are still larger and better-furnished houses available in the complex for the requested price.

Beautiful holiday home for feeling good

We spent our summer vacation for the second time this year at the Runggaldiers' holiday home and have already booked it again for next year.

We have been going to Julianadorp for many years and always to this holiday park. Initially, we always booked directly through Landal and now only this house. Why?

Everything is just right here. It is a beautifully located, elegantly furnished, and well-equipped house. What’s more: a great landlord who takes care of things immediately and has an open ear when something doesn’t go well or breaks, which can always happen.

The equipment is very good, there is enough crockery and utensils in the kitchen. This is not a given; often everything is counted out. The appliances, including the washing machine and dryer, are modern and in good condition. There is an oven available, which is often missing in Dutch holiday homes. A large television in the living room with Smart TV plus one per bedroom and fast internet complete the experience.

Both bathrooms are modern, equipped with a bathtub and two showers. Both bathrooms offer storage space, which is practical. The sauna is great. Unfortunately, in the upper bathroom, the sink is a bit oversized, somewhat restricting toilet usage.

All bedrooms have good mattresses and also provide ample storage space for clothing. One of the upper bedrooms is intended as a children's room with two single beds. Our son felt comfortable here.

The garden is fenced and large, as it is a corner lot. You can sit on the terrace with privacy, as the old trees and shrubs around protect against views. The table and chairs are comfortable and of high quality. A highlight is the great beach chair. There is even a grill available.

The location is very good for us. It is rather on the edge of the park and thus closer to the beach. This makes it quiet, and you can get out of the park with bikes (eBikes are recommended because of the dunes) to the beach in 12 minutes.
