Description

Attached is a side room with a washing machine, microwave, Rommelsbacher mini oven (42 l), and a small freezer (36 l), which you can use as you wish. On the ground floor, there is a separate toilet with a washbasin, renovated in 2025, and the also renovated bathroom with a walk-in shower and washbasin.

Upper floor:
Three bedrooms for two people each (double beds), and a single room with a 140cm wide mattress for 1-2 people. In the upper area, there is an additional toilet with a sink.
If you wish to bring your own bed linen, you will need a sheet/fitted sheet of at least 1.60 m x 2 m for a double bed and 1.40 m x 2 m for a single bed. All quilts are 1.35 x 2 meters in size.

Outside, there are 2 terraces (south and west), garden furniture, and 2 private parking spaces.

Please note that we do not rent to individuals under 23 years of age.

Location and surroundings of object

The house is located in the 5-star park "ZEELAND VILLAGE" with several playgrounds.
It is particularly well-suited for families with children. In 5 minutes, you can reach on foot the "Grevelingenmeer" with a small section of shore where playing in/at the water is possible.

The holiday park additionally includes a main house and a tennis court. There, you can also rent bicycles or hand carts for a fee. Our holiday home is detached, surrounded by a large garden in a preferred south-west orientation, so you can enjoy the sun almost all day long in the summer. Important for small children or pets is that the entire property is fenced.

Scharendijke is a small, cozy village with a marina on the 'Grevelingenmeer' and with beautiful, long North Sea beaches. The Brouwersdam protects the Grevelingen Lake from the North Sea and connects the islands of Schouwen-Duiveland and Goeree-Overflakkee. As a rather inconspicuous, but still typically Dutch village, it has its windmill and a few nice cafes and restaurants. Close to the holiday park, since June 2016, there is a well-equipped supermarket (also well-stocked for lactose and gluten intolerance!) with a bakery, souvenir, and flower shop. Those who are still looking for tranquility and contemplation are in the right place here. Scharendijke is an ideal starting point for all sorts of watersports (kite, surf, and diving paradise), for beautiful bike rides to the beach, or just to experience the sea air and nature.
In Scharendijke, the enchanting beaches of Schouwen Duiveland begin, stretching over more than 21 km in length.

By bicycle, one can reach both the North Sea and the lively town of Renesse via bike paths. You can drive past Renesse through the dunes on beautiful shell paths to Burgh-Haamstede and continue through the Oosterscheldekering, explore the Kwade Hoek nature reserve near Ouddorp, or visit the towns of Brouwershaven, Veere, Bruinisse, and Zierikzee.

The North Sea is about 1200 meters away, and the Grevelingenmeer about 300 meters.
Free parking at Brouwersdam beach is possible.

In this park your children will not be bored for a second, as the various playgrounds provide plenty of holiday fun.

We would like to draw your attention to the fact that the reception has limited opening hours, which vary depending on the season. More detailed information on this can be found on the homepage of Zeeland Village.

On June 1, 2016, a new PLUS supermarket with a wide range of products (also for gluten and lactose intolerance!) opened in the immediate vicinity of the bungalow park.

NEW from autumn 2025: due to increased wage costs of the cleaning service, we can only offer DEPARTURE on Fridays. If you wish to DEPART on Saturday, a cleaning fee of approx. €160 will apply.

Dreamlike family vacation – we would love to come back!

We spent a wonderful week here in Scharendijke. The holiday home was absolutely clean, modernly furnished, and equipped with everything you need (especially the kitchen!). The garden was a highlight, perfect for relaxing after a long day at the beach. The location is great, quietly situated, but you can quickly get to the beach or bike to Brouwersdam. The supermarket and restaurants are also easily accessible. The contact with the landlord was very friendly and uncomplicated. We felt completely comfortable and can recommend this house 100%!

We had a wonderful time in Zeeland Village in Scharendijke and can absolutely recommend the stay. The resort is quiet and ideally located – within a few minutes you can be at the Grevelingen Sea, at the marina, or quickly reach the wide North Sea beach by bike. Our holiday home was cozy, well-equipped, and we were especially delighted by the large garden with terrace. Here we could wonderfully relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The kitchen offered everything we needed, and the entire house was clean and well-maintained. The property itself is beautifully landscaped and features plenty of greenery as well as small water areas, creating a very pleasant atmosphere. It's perfect, especially for families or couples looking for peace and nature. The location is also ideal for activities like cycling, walking, or water sports. We felt completely comfortable and would come back anytime.

Schönes Ferienhaus

We were guests with four adults and two dogs. Very nice spacious holiday home with great amenities, which is very rare with dogs :) Since we only had four days, we ate out, but the kitchen equipment is so great that nothing was missing. Due to Corona, there was a contactless key handover, but everything worked out great. Thank you for a few nice days. Gladly again.

Perfect house in perfect location.

We were a family of 5 adults staying in this very beautiful house. We had plenty of space, the kitchen is perfectly equipped, the rooms are beautifully furnished, and the outdoor area is sufficiently large. The proximity to the sea was perfect, just a 10-minute walk, and even faster by bike (plenty of bikes available). There are several beaches for swimming and also for our water sports activities. We would love to come back, the Lange family from Darmstadt.

Super holiday home+perfect weather=perfect holiday

We felt very comfortable all around: the whole area around Scharendijke is highly recommended for windsurfers and kitesurfers as well as for cyclists. There are separate areas on the beach for windsurfers and kiters, and our daughter had her first surfing experience at the nearby Brouwersdam surf centre. The staff there are very nice and helpful, and you can get by even without speaking Dutch. There are also various beach pavilions on the beach that are highly recommended (the Natural High is very popular among kiters).
After being out in the fresh air for most of the day, we relaxed in the cosy holiday home in the evening. It offers a few advantages, for one thing it is very quietly located relatively at the beginning of the holiday park, so that we could reach our house very easily without getting lost. On the other hand, the house is very tastefully furnished with some personal details (including beautiful nature photos!). Above all, we would like to emphasise the well-equipped kitchen with sufficient crockery, cutlery and good kitchen knives (!!), so that we did not eat out as much as we had planned.
So perfect all round------we will definitely be back

Perfectly equipped holiday home, lovingly furnished.

It was our first stay in Holland. With 4 adults and 2 large dogs, we were greeted kindly by the caretaker at the house. We were very surprised by the spacious equipment of the house. No wish was left unfulfilled, especially regarding the kitchen equipment. The only points of criticism, if you can call it that: the stairs were unfortunately too steep for the older dog, and the walls were very thin. We would book the house with the beautiful garden again at any time.

Very nice holiday house with plenty of equipment and a spacious garden.

Booking the holiday home through Mrs. Goldbach was completely uncomplicated, and everything went smoothly.

We were with 2 adults and 5 children (5, 5, 7, 12, 14) in the house and totally thrilled. We didn't miss anything. We had expected a sparse equipment, but everything was available that you need on vacation.
The bedrooms are all upstairs so that our late risers could sleep undisturbed. There is also a toilet upstairs, very practical for 7 people to have a second one.

The spacious open kitchen with adjoining dining and living area is very bright, and everyone had enough space.

We especially liked the garden, which is completely fenced, so you could let the little ones play in the garden without worries.

The park itself is very nicely laid out, with water ditches, small playgrounds, and bike rental. The children had a lot of fun at the free swimming pool, which is only a few meters away from the holiday home.

The supermarket is also good (open even on Sundays), which you can easily reach on foot or by bike.

All in all, a completely lovely family holiday in Scharendijke! We would love to come back sometime!

A beautiful house with a garden

We have now stayed with our dog in this house for the second time.
The contact with the landlady was very uncomplicated; she remembered us directly
and gave valuable tips.
For example, that the supermarket is partially closed.

The house still makes a very nice impression.
You can immediately tell that the owners also vacation there. It is clean and comfortable, yes lovingly furnished; not everything "cheap, cheap, cheap" but tasteful and practical as well.

As ambitious water sports enthusiasts, we appreciate the ability to easily store our equipment in the garage.

Hopefully, we will still find an available slot during the Easter holidays. The landlady is very dedicated in this regard.

We once again felt very comfortable there. Thank you very much.
