Our cosy log cabin "Haus Fink" is located in a green holiday home settlement surrounded by Pomeranian forest landscape on the edge of the village of Bodstedt and the nature reserve "Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft". It therefore guarantees a relaxed and peaceful holiday. Mild coastal climate, kilometres of fine sandy beaches and rustic forests form an idyllic location. Time out in the countryside - an ideal holiday resort at any time of year away from the hustle and bustle of the seaside resorts. Spend your holiday in our lovingly designed "Haus Fink". The special ambience of the log house comes to the fore inside through the massive wooden trunks and the mild scent of wood.
We are looking for permanent/regular tenants for our weekend house who would like to use it for their leisure time. Their rent is an annual rent and is calculated from seasonal days of use. If you are interested and have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

The plot covers 500m² and the living space in the house is 130m². The log cabin was completed in September 2016
On the ground floor is the kitchen-living room consisting of: a fully equipped kitchen (if something is missing, we will take care of it); the dining table with extension boards and space for 10 people; and the living area with a couch with a sleeping function for visitors or children, TV and books. There is a bathroom with a large natural stone shower, double washbasin, WC and hairdryer, as well as a bedroom for 2 people and another bedroom with a double bunk bed.
On the upper floor you will find two separate, tastefully furnished bedrooms (3+2). Furthermore, you will discover there the second complete bathroom with WC, shower and washing machine.
And a longe with TV and sofa invites you to linger.
On the sunny terrace you can relax wonderfully and experience great barbecue evenings. There are garden chairs with adjustable backrests and cushions for sunbathing and a kettle air grill available. The garden invites you to play, relax, linger and unwind. A special icing on the cake is the 3-seater beach chair
We ask for your understanding that the house is a non-smoking house.

Friendly hosts are a matter of course for us: The contact person on site, Wolli (operator of Café & Bar Wolli) is available for all questions & problems.
The settlement: The holiday home settlement consists of 28 holiday homes and the Café & Bar Wolli. Due to the private road, only a few foreign cars stray into the settlement, so it is possible to let your children roam the area largely unsupervised. New friendships are often formed while romping through the woods and meadows. The plots are all so large that you can retreat and let your soul dangle. The diverse architectural styles of the houses are interesting to look at and result in a well-balanced settlement image. Perhaps there is a detail or two to copy for your own home
The cycle path "Östlicher-Backstein-Rundweg", located directly in front of the settlement, takes you once around the entire Bodden, about 80 km. This can easily be done in one day. The beautiful Baltic Sea beach in Zingst is about 30 minutes away by bike. The cycle path is also suitable for inline skates, roller skates and skateboards. Jogging and Nordic walking are also recommended
Café und Bar Wolli is a nice little summer café at the entrance to the settlement. It has four outdoor tables and six more in the guest room. The main business time is coffee time, in the evening it usually closes after sunset. On offer are coffee, freshly baked cakes & tarts as well as various sundaes and ice creams. The homemade potato soup with prawns is highly recommended. In the evening, you can relax with a freshly tapped beer or selected wines. Or you can round off a busy day with the large selection of whiskies.

Location and surroundings of object
Surroundings
You will spend your holiday in a quiet location. The Baltic Sea spa Zingst (10 km) and the Baltic Sea resort Prerow (18 km) are not far away and are characterised by maritime traditions. The Prerow Bay is one of the most beautiful beaches in Europe. Good shopping facilities, restaurants and evening events can be found in Barth (7 km). The Bodden and the Baltic Sea are an attractive area for water sports enthusiasts, there are countless offers. Hiking is in: a look off the beaten track is worthwhile, especially in autumn when thousands of cranes stop to rest on the Zingst.
Bodstedt: The small harbour with the typical wooden fishing boats, the Zeesenbooten, is particularly beautiful. The oldest Zeesen boat regatta takes place every year on the first weekend in September. There is a landing stage for boat trips around the Bodden and translations to the Darß, and bicycles can be taken along. The local bathing beach is only three minutes away by bike. The shallow water zones are ideal for swimming beginners and water rats. Adults can relax on the large lawn next to it. The village has three small restaurants serving fresh fish and fried potatoes. The fisherman supplies holidaymakers and locals with fresh and smoked fish every day. Whether by bike, on foot or on horseback - experience the landscape and the charm of the village pure and close.
