Description
Away from the hustle and bustle of large holiday parks, our holiday home is located in the "Callantsogervaart" holiday park. The park consists of a total of 9 houses, is quiet and situated very close to the beach.
The holiday home is a semi-detached house with 75 m² of living space spread over 2 floors. To enjoy the sun at all times, the house has 2 terraces. For breakfast, you can sit on the east-facing terrace and enjoy the sight of glowing flower fields. The terrace equipped with a retractable awning on the west side offers a beautiful view of the dunes in the afternoon hours. Here you can relax with a glass of wine or a delicious beer to end the day. In our garden shed, you will find garden furniture, a grill, and a rotary clothesline. The garden is partially bordered by a small hedge but is not fenced. On sunny days, the neighbor's chickens like to come over for a "picnic." A private parking spot is available directly at the house, with additional parking available at the entrance of the holiday park.
The ground floor of the house is fully tiled. It contains the living/dining room with an open kitchen, fully equipped with a gas stove, refrigerator, mini-oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, dishes, pots, and pans.
The sun-filled living room is furnished with modern leather seating. At the large dining table, not only can meals be shared, but also games played together with children or friends. A basic set of board games and books ensures that boredom is kept at bay. A new travel crib and a travel high chair are available for our youngest guests. If you would like to save on luggage, you can also book a laundry package from us which includes 1 large and one small towel, 3 dish towels, and bed linen for 15 € / per package. A dog basket and 2 bowls are available for our four-legged guests. Of course, there are also TVs with satellite systems available. A Wi-Fi connection is also available. Furthermore, on the ground floor, you will find a spacious bathroom with a shower, underfloor heating, and a toilet. In a separate room on the ground floor, there is a washing machine and a dryer available for use. A modern gas central heating system with a room thermostat ensures even, individually adjustable warmth. The stove available in the house spreads cozy warmth on cold winter evenings.
The upper floor is completely laminated. In one bedroom, there is a double bed, while the other two bedrooms are equipped with single beds. The duvets and pillows are suitable for allergy sufferers and are cleaned regularly. All rooms are fully equipped with smoke detectors. You will also find a small toilet on the upper floor. Our holiday home is a non-smoking house, and we ask that you comply with the no-smoking rule inside the house. Your pets, max. 2 dogs, are as welcome as you are. Please let us know in advance which and how many pets you would like to bring. Since we also have guests who arrive without pets, we do not want dogs to sleep in the bed or on the sofa.
In addition to the designated rental price, a mandatory external final cleaning fee applies. This fee is carried out by a married couple residing in the holiday park.
A normal final cleaning costs a flat rate of €90.
A final cleaning, after a rental period with dog/dogs, amounts to €110.
Additionally, a dog fee of €25 per dog is charged. 30, € per dog charged.

Location and surroundings of object
Our house is located in a small, quiet holiday complex with 9 houses, approximately 500 m from the beach entrance, with a view of the dunes. In the bungalow park, dogs must be kept on a leash. There is a dog off-leash area very close (about 100 m away) to the house. Here, your four-legged friend can meet fellow dogs on a path between two canals and sniff, run, and do their business to their heart's content. The shopping center "Dorperweerth" is located about 1 km away and can be reached by car for major shopping in 5 minutes, but also easily on foot via the pedestrian/cycling and dog off-leash path along the golf course. There, you will find a large supermarket, a magazine store with German daily newspapers, as well as a bakery, butcher, vegetable shop, fish store, and other small shops. The originally small village, named after the Crown Princess and later Queen Juliana, has developed into a sought-after seaside resort. Particularly the long, white sand beach and the nearby dunes and tulip fields are scenic and popular photo motifs.
In the center of Julianadorp, you can find another modern shopping center, which also houses "Aldi." "Lidl" is located right across from it. Julianadorp belongs to the municipality of Den Helder and has a lot to offer in terms of leisure activities. There is, first, the North Sea beach, only about 500m away from the holiday park, wide and expansive. Here, children and dogs can run wild. But you will definitely also find a quiet spot for sunbathing, or you can treat yourself to a cup of coffee with apple tart in one of the beach restaurants. Followers of naturism can visit the nearby nudist beach and plunge into the waves free of all clothing. During long beach walks, beach jogging, or Nordic walking, you breathe good North Sea air and actively do something for your health. The extensive network of cycling paths in North Holland invites you to extensive exploration tours of the surrounding area. Whether you take the "Fietspad" through the dunes, ride past beautiful flower fields, or snatch your holiday souvenir at one of the numerous flea markets - Julianadorp is an experience at any time of the year. Days of bad weather can be easily spent at the nearby swimming pool with a slide. Long beach rides can be booked at the riding stable directly opposite the holiday park. Livery horses are also accepted there with prior registration.
The golf course, which you can see from our house, also includes a fun golf facility where everyone can test their talent in this sport. Those who are not yet confident can first try one of the many mini-golf courses in the area. The town center of Den Helder invites you for an extensive shopping spree. It is also interesting to visit the Naval Museum (walkable submarine) and Fort Kijdduin.

Beautiful...
For a few days now, everyday life has returned to us. We were able to book with the Schrey family at short notice for a few days—not a whole week during the holidays—very accommodating! We were able to fully enjoy this shared family vacation time at our favorite place. Everything we needed for self-catering was available in the practically equipped, well-maintained, and clean house. Only the stairs were unfamiliar for our 6-year-old daughter. However, the bed was the highlight for her. Original tone: "Simply cozy!" We found it pleasant that the parking lot for the car is directly at the house. This allowed us to conveniently transport our groceries into the house. And to conclude: There is a washing machine, which we actually needed.... And again - as can be read in other reviews: The phone contact with Mr. Schrey was very friendly, uncomplicated, and accommodating - that particularly stays in our memory. We would like to spend our next vacation days again in the Netherlands - and exactly there!

Super beautiful summer vacation with sister, daughter, and granddaughter
We enjoyed the vacation in the very well-equipped holiday home due to its quiet location and proximity to the beach. The contact with the holiday home landlords was friendly and uncomplicated. As long as we stay healthy, we will definitely come back again.

Sunny holiday week
We had a beautiful and relaxing sunny holiday week in your lovely little house. We were very lucky with the sunny weather, which gave us many hours on the beach and on the two terraces where we could have breakfast in the morning and sit late into the night. In the new fully equipped kitchen, we could let loose - a great addition to this cozy house. A highlight was the neighbors' chickens, which we could observe pecking from time to time. Thank you very much, we would love to come back!

An ideal holiday residence
We, 2 adults and 1 dog, felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back next year. The contact with Mr. Schrey was extremely friendly, and we can recommend the accommodation without reservation. The only thing is that the mattresses could possibly be replaced, and it would be helpful to have thinner blankets during warm temperatures. It might have been nice if the towels in the linen package could be exchanged once. A big thank you to Mr. Schrey for the excellent support.

Clean, very cozy holiday apartment
We visited the holiday home with three children and were completely satisfied. Upon our arrival, it was pleasantly warm, it was absolutely clean, and the kitchen was very new. A very nice contact with the landlord. The location is very quiet, a beautiful environment completes the vacation. We would definitely come back and thank you for the great holiday days.
