Our holiday flat is centrally located in Norddeich:
approx. 400 m to the bakery and Netto discount store.
approx. 8 minutes walk to Ocean Wave, with a sauna area, seawater wave adventure pool, massages, sauna and a seal station in the Norddeich National Park House, mini golf, bowling alley and spa gardens.
approx. 15 minutes walk to the sandy beach, kite meadow / sunbathing lawn (1.2 km as the crow flies)
Our dyke / beach invites you to take relaxed, quiet and romantic walks in the sunset.
it takes about 20 minutes to walk to Norddeich harbour, which is mainly used for ferry and freight traffic to the East Frisian islands of Juist and Norderney.
If you are planning a bicycle tour, we have a bicycle rental shop right here in the street about 200 mtrs. away.
New: approx. 250 mtr. away, is the new beach life (hall), there you can relax, do fitness, play beach volleyball on sand, and much more.
Riding hall is mtr. away (horse riding possible for a fee)

For our young guests, there is also a Misikschuppen, Meta, a "cult" disco that has existed for over 50 years, which is 0 km away as the crow flies.

The Waloseum is very easy to reach by car (5 km away). Norddeich (Low German: Nörddiek) is a district of the town of Norden with just under 1750 inhabitants. Norddeich is located in the northwest of East Frisia directly on the North Sea coast and has been a state-recognised North Sea spa since 1979.
On 24 June 2010, Lower Saxony's Minister of Economic Affairs, Jörg Bode, awarded the district the highest level of tourism recognition with the title "North Sea spa".

it takes about 20 minutes to walk to Norddeich harbour, which is mainly used for ferry and freight traffic to the East Frisian islands of Juist and Norderney. It is the third largest passenger port in Germany after Puttgarden and Rostock and the largest in Lower Saxony. Every year, around 2.25 million passengers travel from here to the islands of Norderney and Juist. In addition, vehicles are transported to the island of Norderney every year, which is served every hour in summer. All in all, there are approximately scheduled trips to both islands per year. The North Sea island of Juist (dt. [jyːst], niederl. [jœy̑st]) is one of the East Frisian islands in the Wadden Sea of Lower Saxony and lies between Borkum and Norderney). Norderney (Nörderneei) is one of the East Frisian Islands in the North Sea.
In the early hours of the morning you can watch the cutter being unloaded live, as most of the cutters arrive in the harbour in the morning after a long night of fishing. Sometimes you can also try some freshly cooked crabs.
Norddeich lies in the temperate climate zone, mainly under the direct influence of the North Sea. Daytime temperatures are lower in summer and often higher in winter than further inland. The climate is generally characterised by the Central European westerly wind zone. Norddeich lies at the climatic boundary between a high stimulus climate, a mudflat climate and a coastal climate, which means that a stay in the town can be a significant healing factor for certain illnesses.
The town of Norden (Nörden) is about 3 km away. You can visit the Ludgerie church, countless old buildings, our historic market square, our tea museum is also directly on the market square, from where you can relax and enjoy a real East Frisian tea with cake.
The inhabitants of Norden are called Norder, or Nörder in Low German. Norden is one of the oldest towns in East Frisia. In 2005 it celebrated the 750th anniversary of the first documentary mention. It is the main town and namesake of the historic landscape of Norderland and the fourth largest town in East Frisia in terms of population. Until 31 July 1977, it was the seat of the district of the same name, which was absorbed into the district of Aurich on 1 August of that year.
Here in Norddeich (Nörddiek) we have countless restaurants (German cuisine, fish, Italian, Greek, etc.) Everything is within easy walking distance.

Leybuchtsiel Norden: The Leybuchtsiel is a sieve structure in the town of Norden that was completed in 1929. It was built to drain the newly reclaimed land after the 646-hectare Leypolder was dyked in 1929. The Leybuchtsiel is located in the area of the Neuwesteel district of Norden, which has been inhabited since 1934. At the Leybuchtsiel, the Norder Tief flowed into the Leybucht. When the Leypolder was dyked, the port of Norden lost its access to the open sea.
With the construction of the Leysiel, completed in 1991, the Leybuchtsiel has become less important in terms of hydraulic engineering. Since then, the surplus inland water is no longer pumped directly into the Ley Bay. Instead, the water from the Norder Tief flows through a newly constructed canal over several kilometres to Greetsiel and from there to the Leysiel.

Super beautiful apartment
We were in the vacation apartment Corina for 10 days and felt completely comfortable. Everything was as stated in the description. Ms. Schimanski welcomed us very kindly and showed us everything. We had a very nice time in Norddeich.

Great holiday apartment, very quiet location.
We were warmly welcomed. The apartment is very nice and cozy. Nothing was lacking. Very nice host. The location is very quiet. The beach can be easily reached with a short walk.

Feel relaxed and comfortable
At the Schimanski's, we lived in the apartment "Steuerbord." It is well-equipped with everything needed for daily life. The apartment is optimal for a maximum of 2 people on the upper floor.
The house is located at the entrance of the village - in a quiet area. Those who want to soak up the sun with their morning coffee can go to the garden. There is a small garden next to the house, which is separately designated from the family's private area.
Additionally, there are a women's and a men's bicycle available. The Schimanskis are really very nice and friendly people, where one enjoys living.
