Sea eagles fly by every day, the wind drives away the oppressive heat and the view over the lagoon, which on many days stretches to the horizon, gives you the feeling of being by the sea. Deer and fox are regular guests. In the quiet nights you can hear the call of the tawny owl and the rustling of the old pines, under which this holiday home is nestled, making you forget everyday life.
The eponymous large beaver lodge is located in the reed belt of the property. The wilderness area begins at the cliff edge, which we deliberately do not fence off. Nevertheless, the cliff edge may not be entered in order not to disturb the numerous wild animals. For the same reason, dogs are not allowed.
Respect for nature is reflected in the low-energy timber construction and ecological insulation of the building.
The house is particularly suitable for four adults who want to holiday together, but each couple wants a separate retreat for themselves.

Enter this extraordinary holiday home and let it take effect on you. Warm rays of sunlight flood through the south-facing glass front with floor-to-ceiling windows and bathe the comfortably furnished living room in a bright light. In keeping with the spirit of master builder Beaver, the building is primarily made of wood.
Now take a look outside: you have a magnificent view, framed by old trees, over the lagoon, which stretches almost to the horizon. The reed belt hides the eponymous beaver lodge, many birds' nests and game nurseries. Here you are really in the middle of nature and maybe even a white-tailed eagle is circling?
The holiday home is well equipped, tastefully furnished and offers 150 m² of living space for up to four people for an exceptional holiday on the island of Usedom.
The large kitchen and dining area is accessed from the living room and faces southwest. It has a dishwasher, induction hob, microwave and fridge-freezer.
On the opposite side of the living room you reach the first bedroom (double bed 1.80 x 2.00 m, height 56 cm) with adjoining bathroom, which has a floor-level shower (1.20 x 1.20 m) and a washbasin that can be accessed from below. The ground floor is deliberately built barrier-free and thus a suitable holiday home for wheelchair users. The second shower room with a shower at ground level (1.00 x 1.00 m), a bathtub and a washbasin that can be accessed by wheelchairs is also located on the ground floor. The height of the WC is 43 cm.
In the winter months, the crackling fire in the fireplace stoves provides cosy warmth. The entire holiday home is equipped with underfloor heating.
You reach the upper floor via the beautiful wooden staircase. Here you will find another living room, also equipped with a wood-burning stove. The magnificent view of the lagoon through the floor-to-ceiling windows will enchant you every day. The second bedroom with a double bed (1.80 x 2.00 m) and a WC are located on the upper floor.
All living rooms and bedrooms are equipped with satellite TV. Of course, the entire accommodation has WLAN (fibre optic 50 MBit/s). All windows are equipped with fly screens. You can use the washing machine free of charge.
In summer, seating and sun loungers on the approx. 50 m² south-facing terrace invite you to relax. An electric barbecue is available for enjoyable meals. Dreamlike sunsets are best enjoyed with a glass of wine directly at the cliff edge. From the dining room you enter the approx. 20 m² large west terrace. This allows you to enjoy your stay outdoors, depending on the position of the sun. The 8,000 m² property, which is not fenced to the lagoon, is largely left in its natural state (no ornamental lawns) and is popular with game and birds of all kinds. Here you can grow whatever the soil allows.
At the edge of the property towards the edge of the lagoon, there is a Finnish log cabin sauna with electric heater, changing room, garden shower and an equally impressive view of the lagoon.
As a guest of the holiday home, you have access to a private bathing jetty, which can be shared by only a few other holiday guests. Here you can only hear the sound of the waves and the reeds. You can reach the bathing jetty via the neighbouring property.

Location and surroundings of object
The Baltic resorts of Heringsdorf, Ahlbeck and Bansin, as well as the lively beach promenade of Swinemünde in neighbouring Poland, can be reached after a 15-minute drive.
Within walking distance is the restaurant "Der Rote Baron" in the style of aviation romance. Enjoy high-quality food and fine drinks on the cosy sun terrace with a front-row view of legendary aviators.
Direct neighbour of the adventure restaurant is the exhibition area "Hangar 10" with a special aircraft collection and climbing park.
By bike you can quickly reach the Kamminker natural beach with a bathing opportunity at the Szczecin Lagoon (3 km away). We recommend a visit to the fish smokehouse "Klönsnack" at Kammink harbour. You will find other idyllic natural beaches in Prätenow and Stolpe at a distance of about 4-5 km.

You can safely store your bicycles in the bicycle storage room with e-bike charging facility. A total of up to three cars can be parked on the property.
We provide you with bed linen and towels free of charge for your stay. Sauna packages (bathrobe and 2 sauna towels) can be provided on request (EUR 12.50 per person).
Arrival and departure are only possible on Saturdays (minimum stay always 7 nights).
A contact person on site is always available.
A deposit of EUR 250.00 is payable in cash on arrival, which will be refunded on the day of departure, provided the holiday home has been returned without damage.
The service charges for gas, water and electricity are calculated according to consumption. The meter readings are recorded on arrival and departure and billed after departure.
*** Further apartment buildings are being built on the surrounding neighbouring properties (construction starts 12/2021). Visual and acoustic disturbances are to be expected on weekdays between 06:30 and 20:00. The construction site discount has already been deducted from the rental price. Claims for reduction in relation to the construction site are thus settled. The front part of the bathing jetty is broken due to ice masses in the winter of 2022/2023. It is possible to enter the water next to the jetty with bathing shoes (as of 01/2023). ***
