Min Droom or in German: "Mein Traum". Semi-detached house with Finnish sauna and wood-burning stove
The name "Min Droom" is Frisian and means "my dream". This is the name of the house where our father was born during the Second World War in Kampen on Sylt in the house of the same name on the Wadden Sea. Now we have fulfilled our dream with this romantic and at the same time modern semi-detached house under thatch, which combines past, present and future and which we would now like to share with you. We are a family whose roots lie on the North Sea island of Sylt and in Cuxhaven, and who still live and are shaped by the sea and seafaring in our careers
The brand new semi-detached house (completion 2022) offers well thought-out comfort and a feel-good atmosphere for relaxing. For the interior design, we have taken our cue from the modern, Scandinavian style that characterises us and which fits in with the landscape in which the house is nestled
Maritime, authentic elements are integrated into the home, but without becoming kitschy. A few selected furnishings come from our life as people from the coast, from our past as "coastal children" and are therefore part of our identity. Calm, natural colours characterise the homely and at the same time modern house.
The terrace with beach chair, garden table and Thüros charcoal grill invites you to stay and relax after excursions and bike tours, but also for breakfast
The house has 2 complete bedrooms for four adults and a converted attic, which is connected from one bedroom via a spiral staircase and is cosily furnished for two teenagers
The 62 m² tastefully furnished semi-detached house also has satellite TV and free Wi-Fi. The house has a Finnish sauna for two to three people and a fireplace
Amateur cooks will also get their money's worth. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, a built-in microwave, an oven, a Nespresso machine, a toaster and a fridge with freezer compartment.
One bedroom is furnished with a double bed, a closed wardrobe and a chest of drawers.
Another bedroom is furnished with 2 single beds and an open wardrobe.
In the bathroom on the first floor, there is a walk-in shower and a washbasin with mirror in addition to the toilet.
The "guest bathroom" on the ground floor is equipped with a ground-level shower and a toilet. After your sauna session, enjoy the crackling fire in the wood-burning stove and let yourself go with a warming tea or a glass of wine
Whether it is a longer family holiday or a short trip to the island of Usedom, the holiday flat invites you to spend a pleasant and relaxing time at the Baltic Sea.
At night, with a clear view, the starry sky is magnificent and cannot be compared to a city sky. The silence of the night guarantees an undisturbed night's rest.

Location and surroundings of object
In the middle of nature and yet close to the city: in just 8 km you can reach the imperial spas of Ahlbeck, Heringsdorf and Bansin with their dreamy, fine-sand Baltic beaches.
"Min Droom" is located in a pine grove in the middle of a quiet holiday village, in the Usedom Nature Park with its forests, meadows and lakes, about 8 km from the hustle and bustle of the Kaiserbäder, but right on the coast of the Szczecin Lagoon. The walk to the cliffs takes about 5 minutes. Then enjoy the water view, either on one of the park benches or on a long walk along the coast
The neighbouring village of Korswandt is only 3 km away. It is known for its large golf course "Baltic Hills" and a beautiful bathing lake
This lake, the "Wolgastsee," is romantically nestled between beautiful deciduous trees and inviting benches and hiking trails. A jetty with pedal and rowing boat hire and a small bathing beach make for a lovely holiday. For the small appetite, the snack bar at the lake offers a good range and for gourmets we recommend the restaurant of the "Idyll am Wolgastsee".
The fishing village of Zirchow is characterised by its new thatched-roof houses, which were modelled on old fishing houses
Within walking distance there is a restaurant, bicycle rental, pedal car rental, parachute jumping and sightseeing flights.
A bread service is offered in the fishing village in summer. The nearest ATM is in the village of Zirchow.
Zirchow is connected to the island cycle path. From there you can reach all the villages with many highlights to discover, e.g. a small cheese dairy with tasting and a glass of red wine to go with the raclette. Excursion to Stolpe Castle with its fine restaurant "Remise". Crossing Lake Usedom on a ferry rowboat, the museum in Peenemünde, the quiet and elegant seaside resorts on the German side and the lively and trendy beach promenade of Swinemünde on the Polish side with many great restaurants.
Please note: Construction is underway at the entrance to the fishing village and there may be construction activity in the entrance area of the village.

Enchanting holiday home
We spent a few wonderful days in this brand new holiday home and were enchanted. The house is romantically nestled in a tastefully designed holiday home settlement with thatched houses. The equipment is great. The sauna and the fireplace deserve special mention. The furnishings are very tasteful and show style. As a starting point for exploration, the location is ideal, you can either walk or cycle directly and reach the Szczecin Lagoon in no time. Highly recommended!

It was a first-time occupancy. The house is enchanting, furnished with a lot of love. A fireplace and sauna are available. It couldn't be better!!!
