The romantic and simultaneously modern thatched semi-detached house is equipped comprehensively and has been rated five stars by the German Tourism Association. We are a family whose roots are on the North Sea island of Sylt and in Cuxhaven, and who still make our living from the sea and seafaring and are shaped by it. The brand-new semi-detached house (completed in 2022) offers thoughtful comfort and a cozy atmosphere for relaxation. For the interior design, we oriented ourselves towards the modern, Scandinavian style that characterizes us and fits into the landscape in which the house is embedded.
Maritime, authentic elements are integrated into the apartment, however without becoming kitschy. A few select pieces of furniture are from our life as coastal people, from our past as "coastal children" and are therefore part of our identity. Calm, natural colors dominate the cozy yet modern house.
The terrace with a beach chair, garden table, and Thüros charcoal grill invites you to linger and relax after outings and bike rides, but also for breakfast. The house has 2 complete bedrooms for four adults and a converted attic, which is connected via a spiral staircase from one of the bedrooms and is comfortably furnished for two teenagers.
The 62 m² semi-detached house also features satellite TV and complimentary Wi-Fi. The house has a Finnish sauna for two to three people and a fireplace.
Amateur chefs will enjoy their stay as well. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, a built-in microwave, an oven, a Nespresso machine, a toaster, and a refrigerator with a freezer compartment.
One bedroom is equipped with a double bed, a closed wardrobe, and a dresser.
Another bedroom is equipped with 2 single beds and an open wardrobe.
In the bathroom on the first floor, in addition to the toilet, there is a walk-in shower and a washbasin with a mirror. The "guest bathroom" on the ground floor is equipped with a walk-in shower and a toilet. After the sauna, enjoy the crackling fire in the wood stove and relax with a warming tea or a glass of wine.
Whether a longer family holiday or a short trip to the island of Usedom, the holiday apartment invites you to spend a pleasant and relaxed time on the Baltic Sea.
At night, with clear visibility, the starry sky is magnificent and incomparable to a city sky. The silence of the night guarantees an undisturbed night's sleep.

Location and surroundings of object
In the middle of nature and yet close to the city: in just 8 km you can reach the imperial spas Ahlbeck, Heringsdorf, and Bansin with their gorgeous, fine sandy Baltic Sea beaches.
"Min Droom" is located in a pine grove in the middle of a quiet holiday village, in the Usedom Nature Park with its forests, meadows, and lakes, about 8 km away from the hustle and bustle of the imperial spas, but directly on the coast of the Szczecin Lagoon. The walk to the steep coast takes about 5 minutes. Then enjoy the view of the water, either from one of the park benches or on an extended walk along the coast.
You can reach the neighboring village of Korswandt in just 3 km. It is known for its large golf course "Baltic Hills" and a beautiful bathing lake.
This lake, the "Wolgastsee," lies romantically nestled between magnificent deciduous trees and inviting benches and hiking trails. A boat dock with pedal and rowboat rental and a small bathing beach ensure a pleasant holiday. For a small appetite, the snack bar by the lake offers a good selection, and for gourmets we recommend the restaurant of the "Idyll am Wolgastsee."
The fishing village of Zirchow is characterized by its new thatched-roof houses, modeled after the old fishermen's houses.
Within walking distance there is a restaurant, bicycle rental, pedal car rental, opportunities for parachuting, and sightseeing flights. In the fishing village, a bread roll delivery service is offered in summer. The nearest ATM is located in the town of Zirchow.
Zirchow is connected to the island cycle path. From there you can reach all the villages with many highlights waiting to be discovered, e.g. a small cheese dairy with tastings and a glass of red wine with raclette. Excursion to Stolpe Castle with the fine restaurant "Remise". Crossing the Usedom Lake with a ferry rowboat, the museum in Peenemünde, the quiet and elegant seaside resorts on the German side, and the lively and trendy beach promenade of Swinemünde on the Polish side with many great restaurants.

Super great equipment
We were in the holiday home Min Droom for 2 weeks and really enjoyed it. It is definitely very well equipped, both in the kitchen and bathroom, everything is available in the living room. We have never had such a well and lovingly and also high-quality furnished holiday home. Thank you very much for that. There is absolute peace in the holiday resort, and you definitely need a car to explore everything on Usedom, but we were already aware of that beforehand. In the house folder, there are quite a few helpful tips and information, thank you for that. Many thanks to the Lützen family for the wonderful opportunity to explore Usedom and also to be able to "stay at home" during rainy weather. The sauna was also used and is the icing on the cake for my husband.

Enchanting holiday home
We spent a few wonderful days in this brand new holiday home and were enchanted. The house is romantically nestled in a tastefully designed holiday home settlement with thatched houses. The equipment is great. The sauna and the fireplace deserve special mention. The furnishings are very tasteful and show style. As a starting point for exploration, the location is ideal, you can either walk or cycle directly and reach the Szczecin Lagoon in no time. Highly recommended!

Dreamlike
It was a first-time occupancy. The house is enchanting, furnished with a lot of love. A fireplace and sauna are available. It couldn't be better!!!

By the way: The name "Min Droom" is Frisian and means "my dream". This is the name of the house where our father was born during the Second World War in Kampen on Sylt in the house of the same name on the Wadden Sea. We have fulfilled our dream with this romantic and at the same time modern semi-detached house under thatch, which combines past, present and future and which we would now like to share with you.
