The holiday flat
The former customs house is quietly situated just outside the main town of Barendorf, within walking distance (approx. 400 metres) of the sandy beach, which is free of visitor's tax. In the "Zollhaus" there are a total of 6 apartments, 2 per entrance.
Our sunny 3-room holiday flat (58 m²) on the upper floor for 4 persons (on the picture 1st entrance from the car park) consists of a living and dining area with a well-equipped kitchenette with dishwasher, cooker with ceramic hob and oven, microwave, crockery, cutlery, glasses etc.. The larger bedroom with 1 x double bed has a large wardrobe and also a small sitting area with table and 2 chairs. The smaller bedroom has 2 single beds and a slightly smaller wardrobe. The bright daylight bathroom has a bathtub with shower. The washing machine is also located here. There is also a rotary dryer and a drying rack. The loggia, with a marvellous view of the fields and forest, is equipped with a parasol, table and chairs and invites you to enjoy a sunny breakfast in the morning. The reserved car parking space is located at the house. If required, there is also a cellar storage room.

Location and surroundings of object
The resort town of Barendorf is located in the triangle between Lübeck-Travemünde, the state capital Schwerin, and the Hanseatic city of Wismar. From the beach, with its dunes and cliffs, there is a beautiful view of the Lübeck and Mecklenburg Bay with the ferry traffic to Scandinavia. The clear sea air and the unique natural location are perfect for hiking and cycling on well-marked trails. Ahead of the beach is the Baltic Sea coastal bike path (from Travemünde to Boltenhagen / Wismar). In the hinterland ("Klützer Winkel"), you will find imposing manor houses and small churches. Culture enthusiasts will also find inspiration. For not-so-good weather, for example, excursions to the Hanseatic cities of Lübeck and Wismar, the state capital Schwerin, as well as the historic Bothmer Castle in Klütz are suitable. There, you will also find an adventure mini-golf course, the butterfly garden, and the narrow-gauge railway "Klützer Kaffeebrenner". On the way there, you can find the Minimare in Kalkhorst. The nearest shopping facilities can be found in Dassow or Travemünde-Priwall. In Harkensee (1 km), an ice cream café with homemade cakes invites you to linger.
